“Have a small concern. When we got home the following morning after your visit, there was no dry food in Minnie's bowl and the water level was done to about 1/2 inch. The only thing we can think is that Minnie was full of anxiety and just ate and drank everything. To make sure that doesn't happen again, In the future we would love it if you could fill both bowls just before you leave at the end of your visits, whether that be morning visit, evening visit, or both. Minnie is very slow to warm up and is likely very scared and nervous about us leaving her. We will try the approach of filling both bowls at the conclusion of all future visits and see how that works out. Thanks.”

I have two cats that I rescued from my local shelter, they were the most difficult to place because of prior abuse before coming to the shelter. I was a veterinarian assistant for one year and then became an adoptions Manager for three years. This was the most fulfilling experience of my adult life, being able to help animals and the community daily. I recently lost my closest companion, Xander, about a month ago. He was 13 years old and I had him since he walked into the humane society at two months old. Through him I gained even more experience with aging dogs, medical care and many behavioral changes as he aged. While using positive reinforcement training we navigated 6 military moves, life adaptions to aging and the introduction of two kittens. I will take all this experience and use it to provide the same amount of love an attention for you furry family members as I did for Xander. I am currently unemployed and have most days free as well as can stay over night or board animals in my home. I have a very flexible schedule and am happy to work with any clients schedule as needed. I currently only have two cats in my home, so I’m able to provide boarding for cat friendly animals. I have a fenced in back yard and am usually not gone from the house for more than four hours. About: I have had dogs for the past 30 years. I am an approved foster home for a pug rescue. I have rescued several dogs! The last two years, I have been a dog walker! The dog I recently rescued was a client I walked whose mom was disabled. She needed more care than her mom could give her. We bonded from the first walk, and I knew I could be her forever home! I have a blind/deaf pug as well. I do a lot of housesitting and dogsitting it’s always a joy! My home is on an acre. I have my own business out of my home, and so I am home all day and your pet will not be left alone! I am home all day running my health coach business. Pet care will keep me busy and your animal happy..and the resident dogs will love having playmates! I do have a portion of my yard fenced in so the dogs have lots of room to run and play and be dogs. Dogs are rarely crated unless they are used to that and the owner request that they have time in their crate. I am home the majority of the time. I work from home on a part-time basis so I am with the dogs the majority of the time. When the dogs come to my home, it is like they are on their own little vacation. They have a good time playing with the other dogs and go home tired.

While Rover's pricing is set up on a per dog fee schedule, I cap charges at $80 per night and $40 per drop in or walk, regardless of the number of pets in your household. In the Rover app, I must modify your booking to be able to do that. I work full-time 9:30am -6pm, Monday -Friday in York, Pa, so I limit my service area during the week to areas between York and New Oxford. I can serve a larger area such as Gettysburg and Dillsburg on weekends. I adhere carefully to client directions about medication, supervision, feeding, and exercise. I want dogs to keep their usual routine as much as possible, and owners to rest assured their treasured pets are cared for as they would. I am a background -checked government employee that prides myself on being dependable and trustworthy. We have an unfenced yard that we can take your dog out on a leash as often as needed for potty breaks. We also have a couple kids who love dogs and would love to have more puppies to play with.
About: I’ve taken care of my family dogs since the oldest was a puppy, I have take care of friends dogs as well as relatives dogs too. I’m currently working full time and take care of pets when I get home. When I’m taking care of dogs for others I find time before and after work. I have a fenced in yard, my dogs get along well with other dogs . I’ve had my dogs interact with other dogs since puppies . I take them on walks and there’s a dog park near my home.
About: I had a family dog for 10 years, from the time she was 2 until she was 12 so I’ve had experience with young and old dogs, I have also had a few jobs such as a PetSmart employee and an Adams county SPCA employee which gave me great animal care experience, I am also studying Zoo and Wildlife Biology at Liberty University. I am living at home with my parents now, I am finishing my schooling online, so I am home pretty much all day so I will be able to give your pup lots of love and attention :) I will give you dog lots of love and attention while providing them with a safe and comfortable home, my home is very low key, perfect for dogs coming into a new environment, my family loves dogs just as much as me.

About: Hi! I live in a big home with lots of space for long walks and play space for your pet! I have a large fenced back yard and I have plenty of space for your furbaby at my house. While I do not have any pets currently, I have had dogs and other animals all my life (30 years). I have a lot of experience with them in many capacities. I have experience with senior dogs as well. I would love to give your pet all the attention and snuggles they need. I will take amazing care of them and keep you updated as much as you prefer throughout their stay with me! What is your pets daily routine? How do they do with new people and kids? I like to leave something on the tv for the dogs for some “white noise” when I leave the house. About: I am an absolute animal lover! I have had dogs, birds, fish, a cat, bunnies, mice, lizards, guinea pig, and hamsters! I have been around animals since I was probably about 4 or 5 years old. My grandpa gave me my very first dog (a beagle named Lady) and it was love at first site. Ever since, I have always had a dog! I currently have an almost 12 year old staffy mix named Stoli and 12 fish (mixed kinds). Stoli and I always enjoy a good run or hike or trip to the lake for a swim. I got her when I was working at an animal hospital back in Jersey.She is my best friend and I know I will car for another persons pet(s) the same way I look out for my own! After working at the animal hospital I enrolled in school to become a Certified Dog Trainer, which I completed several years ago. I then started volunteering at a local animal shelter where I helped work with the dogs before getting adopted and sometimes after. Currently my schedule is pretty flexible which allows me to be available at different times throughout the day. I do have a young daughter that I take care of during the day as well. I am unable to care for animals in my home because my dog does not get along with others. However I am able to follow your instructions for care in your home.
