I work part-time Monday through Thursday, so I can provide care in the mornings and evenings, with a few hours away mid-day for work. About: I grew up having pets since I was born, including dogs, turtles, hamsters, guinea pigs and others. My daughters and I have taken care of our neighbors and friends dogs, and we have experience interacting with cats from my brothers and friends. We have a cat named Pumpkin and a guinea pig named Cozy, but my daughters are longing for any dog-sitting especially, so we have plenty of space, love and affection to spare, if needed. I am a teacher with my summers off. My daughters are in camps periodically, but we are largely staying local throughout the rest of the summer, and I have a number of house projects that will keep me based at home for most days. About: At age 12 I had community flyers posted for pet care. I have provided in and out of home care for many years. I have cared for dogs, cats, reptiles and aquatics. About: My name is Eleanor. In the last year we recently lost our own senior dogs who were 17, 16 and 15. We fostered and subsequently adopted a corgi puppy who we nursed through a PDA heart surgery. We rescue dogs aged 7 and up that have found themselves homeless later in life. I love animals, especially elderly ones, and have dedicated my life to their care. I am out of town during a few weekends, but not all. I leave for college on August 20th. In a client’s home, I will ensure that the house is kept clean and clean up any messes your pet makes. I take pride in my attention to detail. Additionally, I will ensure that your pet is cared for when they go outside. I love playing with dogs and spending time in nature with them, whether that means taking them for hikes, playing fetch, etc!
About: I've been around dogs my entire life! I adopted my childhood dog when I was about 8 years old. I have experience working with pets of all ages and can administer medication, including injections. I don't have a formal job and since this is my summer break from university, I'll have plenty of time to care for your furry friends! I can walk pets, take them outside for bathroom breaks frequently, play with them indoors or outdoors, give them medication if necessary, and feed them! About: I always knew I wanted to work with animals, but it wasn’t until I started working at a kennel that I discovered my true calling: dog training. In September 2023, I made the decision to pursue this path seriously by attending National K-9 Dog Training School in Ohio, where I earned my certification as a professional dog trainer. “Ben has been a fantastic overnight sitter for my golden retriever. My dog stays at his house, where he also has two friendly dogs that get along great with mine. Ben sends regular updates and photos—usually of the dogs out on walks or my dog happily getting belly rubs—which I really appreciate. He also has a great fenced-in backyard where the dogs can safely play. The best sign of all was that my dog was genuinely excited to see Ben again on a repeat visit. I’ll definitely continue using Ben in the future and highly recommend him. 🐾”
