It was very clear that Rebecca has a good sense of how dogs are and what they need. She was careful to point out that her stairway was sometimes a challenge for dogs and that it was important to make sure Mousse would be ok navigating them... and she'd thought out where to place the crate in her apartment so it wasn't in the sun. She sent regular check ins and Mousse was clearly having a great time in all the pictures :) In addition, Rebecca was very flexible and understanding when we were stuck in traffic and needed to delay pick up by a few hours. We hope to add Rebecca to our regular rotation of Rover sitters!”

About: I grew up with five cats total over the course if my childhood, so taking care of them has pretty much always been a daily part of my life. I’m used to handling different personalities, energy levels, routines, and whatever specific needs they may have including some medications. After signing up for Rover I’ve done joint sits for both dogs and cats while traveling, but cats are the most fun! I’m reliable, follow directions closely, and I try to keep pets’ routines as normal and enjoyable as possible while their owners are away.

About: I used to take care of my son's dogs for many years, as well as dogs from our neighbors. Our house has great temperatures inside and outside I am at home most of the time, since I work from home. I can spent a lot of time with pets. Our neighborhood (Manayunk) is very safe and not noisy. I can host pets, we have a large patio. I have security cameras un our fenced patio. I also have a doggie door, so pets can exit/enter on their own.

About: As the child of an incredibly busy single mother, I had to quickly learn how to train my pets to avoid incidents on walks and messes at home. I've since gotten quite good at reinforcement training and re-call, and most animals tend to warm up to me pretty quickly. I work Friday and Saturday nights as a bouncer, but during the day my schedule is very open! I often walk my dog between jobs as well. I treat my clients' pets with as much love and care as I would my own. I ensure cats and dogs are walked/played with till they're sufficiently tuckered out, and don't leave the premises until I guarantee their food and water are stocked for the day/night and that they're eating regularly.

About: I’ve had so many different animals in my life I guess you could say at this point I could care for a small zoo?! From rabbits to rats, to lizards to guinea pigs, to birds to hermit crabs to the tried and true cats and dogs I’ve truly cared for and have loved them all. And while I would now consider myself a dog person (hence the boop the snoot tagline). I do have a genuine love for all animals and now wish to share my experience, expertise, love and care with the animals that sometimes need a little extra while their “hoomans” have other things they need to address. I currently have two rescues, a Siamese cat- Edgar Allan Poe (who goes by Poe) and a who knows what dog, (probably a lab/boxer mix, we’ve yet to order a DNA test), named Lucky. Both of my guys are super chill at this point in their lives and have no issues with other animals. With Lucky we take multiple daily walks and do have a fenced in yard, tho it is small and he begs for and prefers walks so it is rarely used as the primary source of going out. About: I’ve always loved animals, and loved a medium sized dog in my home growing up for about 9-10 years. Since having him I’ve pet sat for friends, family, family friends as requested. I’ve watched dogs overnight and for up to 9 or so consecutive months, and I’ve watched two cats for 3 months. I’ve helped my mom care for her pitbull puppy and her pointer. Any pet I watch I will love as if they were my own; and if I’m coming for an extended stay, I make sure the house is nice, clean, and smelling good so the owner can relax as much as possible coming home. Happy to do walks, feedings, extended stays, I’m not the most experienced in grooming but am willing to get the practice in if the trust is there. So my schedule is primarily dedicated to pet care outside of daily responsibilities When in my clients homes I stick to their rules with their pets. So if dogs on the bed/couch are a no, I’ll respect that. My goal is to make my clients animal as comfortable as possible. I even like seeing them sometime before the scheduled visit to see how our chemistry is, though I haven’t had had any bad visits. In my home I’ll care for them in the same fashion. Make sure they’re feed, take them for walks (if they’re walkers), cuddle and make sure they feel loved.
