About: I've taken care of dogs for over a decade from high energy (I have a border collie) to low energy (I also have a shih tzu), elderly, and everything in between. I'd love to make your dog's day by taking them on a walk or giving them an incredible play time. Same goes for your cats! Whether your pets love activity or simply want someone to watch them sniff in the backyard or hang on the couch, I'd love to bring a highlight to their day. Right now, Friday nights through Sunday are the times I have completely free to dedicate to helping take care of your pets. I'm hoping to add more times soon and options to board. I have a small backyard for potty time and a big park across the street with a path to go on the walks. I have a 25-30lb dog that’s with me off and on and a cat with me full time. “Where to begin. Colleen is quite literally the cutest and sweetest person we have ever had the privilege of meeting. We are first time parents to our newly adopted tortie kitten Bootsie. She’s four and half months old and is quite the handful, she’s also very attached to mom and dad. So it goes without saying we were a little nervous about leaving her side. Colleen came in and just blew us away with how patient and courteous she was to our fur baby from the start. We knew instantly we had found the perfect person to watch over her. She truly has a passion for what she does and eased any concerns we had. She was on time and gave us much needed updates throughout her stay. They bonded so well together we were shocked! About: I had a border Collie for 17 years now an American shepherd for 1.5 years and he's fully trained already he's great just still a pup. Currently I work part time for an Amish company and I do morning pick ups and evening drop off with Thursday me being at the job all day. With time in advance I can move stuff around if need be. Im basically free all week during the times everyone is working. Well my dog i train and make sure he's behaving before he gets a reward. I don't always make him do stuff for tricks, but I practice commands daily and when it's not raining we go on walks, unfortunately he gets car sick so long drives aren't great for him still. About: I am easy for dogs to get accusomed to, even dogs with difficulty towards others. I have spent a various amounts of time walking/sitting for friends over the years and also maintaining other animals (cats, reptiles, ferrets). I enjoy engaging with dogs and other animals to spend my time, and working with them to better their skills. I am generally free during the days and in the mornings. Evenings most nights as well. I know all basic animal training and can work on a multitude of things with your pets; ranging from standard things like sit, stay, lay, to more advanced things like crawl, speak, spin and other fun tricks. In addition to cats and dogs I have worked with birds, horses, camels, rats, pigs, cows and skunks. I have a lot of experience in training, healthcare, and grooming.
