About: Hello! Justin and I have both had all types of pets our entire lives. Dogs, cats, birds, fish and even a few reptiles! Justin is the son of a veterinarian and has had experience with many types of animals. Our daughters have never not shared a home with a furry best friend and are both nurturing animal lovers. We currently share our home with a very lovable hound mix pup (Finn) that we adopted from a local rescue at 4 months old. We also adopted an adult rescue kitty (Lewis) in the spring of 2022. About: I have cared for dogs and cats for over 15 years. I worked in a pet store for several years where I had the privilege to take many health and care classes about multiple pets. I am a stay at home Mama to 2 little ones, leaving no shortage or cuddles, snuggles ans walkies (usually 2 a day!) I have a large unfenced back yard that my dogs love to run around in. If its hot we set up their doggie pool or splash pad and throw ball with them. Since there is not a fence, we keep our eyes on her 24/7 when we arent down there running around along side her. I have helped take care of my first dog who passed away from colon cancer. It was not an easy thing but it was worth it to make sure she was comfortable her last days. For dogs, I like to make sure they’re getting plenty of exercise because that is usually what they crave throughout the day. I make sure that each animal gets the pets and love that they miss from their owner when they aren’t there. I love to give treats but usually take the cue from the owner on how many they are allowed to have. I like to let the animal to get to know me and my scent before showering them with all of the love because of skittish and animals that may have been abused prior. I do my best to take my cues from the animal. I will make sure that they are fed on the schedule that is provided by the owner and ensure that they have all the water they need. For medication I will need a rundown of times and ways to administer it. When it comes to certain medicines I may need a demonstration but after I will have no problem administrating medicine or other care for sick or older animals if that is your need

About: I have been caring for family and friends pets for 8 years now and love the relationship I have built with all the animals. I have experienced with new kittens and senior cats. I also have experience with senior dogs and nervous dogs. I have kept pets in my house and the kids love them. Also I’ve done the occasional drop in as needed when friends go out of town or work late. I am currently a stay at home mom with my toddler which gives me the flexibility to come over and walk, play and watch your pets as needed. I always let the pets take the lead when first getting to know each other. We start in a small, comfortable and familiar space and then move to a large space, such as the yard before going out for walks if needed.
