“Christopher really put my mind at ease when I felt anxious about leaving Mochi for an extended boarding stay in an unfamiliar city. Mochi got more exercise than he ever gets with me and Christopher’s family’s home is beautiful and dog friendly (lots of doggie toys, cuddles on sofa, etc). I was a little worried about encounters with other dogs on walks (Mochi can be selectively dog aggressive). Christopher handled him like a champ and had no issues at all. There was a little trouble with medications, but in Chris’s defense- Mochi really doesn’t like the honkin’ large intercepter chew and it can be tough to fool him into eating it. I was concerned that I found pieces of the medicine mixed in with Mochi’s food in the big food bag- I believe Mochi just didn’t eat it and Chris mixed the leftover food (with medicine) back into the food bag. Overall I am very happy with Christopher and would use him again. Highly recommend!”

Whether you want someone to take your pup out and tire them out, or someone to snuggle your cat while you're away, I will love on them until you come back! About: Just over a year ago I've had the experience and joy to care of my friends dog. I was able to take her home for a month and make sure she well loved. We walked, played, did some tricks and got to enjoy each other company. Ever since then I've always been fascinated about dogs especially huskies they are my favorite! Don't get me wrong I love other dogs as well, especially the ones who waggles their tail in excitement! One day I will have a dog of my own and be able to nourish and care for it the same way I'm able to do with other dogs today. But until then I will continue to play and love each dog equally. I’m home 24/7 so your dog will have my undivided attention. I also can give your dog a bath if need and take good care of them. I have a fenced backyard that is properly fenced for a dog scroll around. I typically enjoy walking so I don't mind taking walks with your pups rather than letting them hangout in the back yard.

I really enjoy figuring out those little things. I’m gentle, patient, and very respectful of each pet’s routine. I don’t believe in rushing them or treating every animal the same. Some pets need play and attention, some need slow walks and quiet reassurance, and some just need someone kind nearby so the house does not feel empty. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in a way that still feels familiar to them. I’m also very careful with instructions. Feeding routines, medications, walk preferences, favorite toys, things that scare them, how they like to be greeted, whether they are allowed on the couch. I want to know all of it. I know these details are not “extra.” They are usually the things that make a pet feel secure. I’ll also send updates and photos, not just to say everything is fine, but so you can actually feel connected to them while you are away. My childhood friend and roommate, Matin, may also help me sometimes, and you may see her in some of my photos. She has had pets since childhood and fostered animals for several years, so she is very used to different personalities, nervous pets, affectionate pets, and animals who need a little extra patience. She is calm, loving, and very responsible, and I trust her completely with animals. Between the two of us, your pet will be cared for by people who genuinely like being around animals, but who also understand that trust matters. I’ll treat your pet with warmth, patience, and care, and I’ll treat your home and instructions with respect. This year, much of my work is remote, which gives me real flexibility in my schedule. “Christopher really put my mind at ease when I felt anxious about leaving Mochi for an extended boarding stay in an unfamiliar city. Mochi got more exercise than he ever gets with me and Christopher’s family’s home is beautiful and dog friendly (lots of doggie toys, cuddles on sofa, etc). I was a little worried about encounters with other dogs on walks (Mochi can be selectively dog aggressive). Christopher handled him like a champ and had no issues at all. There was a little trouble with medications, but in Chris’s defense- Mochi really doesn’t like the honkin’ large intercepter chew and it can be tough to fool him into eating it. I was concerned that I found pieces of the medicine mixed in with Mochi’s food in the big food bag- I believe Mochi just didn’t eat it and Chris mixed the leftover food (with medicine) back into the food bag. Overall I am very happy with Christopher and would use him again. Highly recommend!”

“I am so so glad I found Victoria on Rover -- highly recommend if you need a sitter for your animal bb! <33 My dog has some health issues which affect his diet, and is a generally shy / anxious lil guy (like myself), and I can't express how grateful and secure I felt knowing Theo felt safe, cared for, and happy while I was away. Victoria has so much experience and compassion working with animals, and you can absolutely tell by her kindness, attentive care, and communication. I appreciated every message and cute picture of my pup Theo on walks, smiling, and relaxing with Victoria (and Remi, Nova, and Luey!) In addition, I appreciated the add-on booking allowing Victoria to come pick and drop Theo off. The ease of the booking and Victoria being such a lovely sitter eased so much of my mental load and stress of traveling and being away from my pup, and I can't recommend her enough. I think Theo says woof in agreement, since he came back so happy :) This was my first time booking with Victoria but I am so happy to have found a wonderful sitter and would love to rebook when I will need one for Theo again :)”

She cared for him during the most trying times of doing so with any dog, involving historic cold weather. And went above and beyond the duty of just 'watching him'. “First I used Sharna at the last minute on an holiday weekend and she and her family welcomed Poc and Poki with open arms and took them right into her home. She treated them as if they were her own. Sharna played with them and walked them every day. Poc and Poki were so happy there they didn’t want to leave when I picked them up. I would refer everyone to her if they want their pets cared for properly !”
“Gregory was very responsive to my last minute request for boarding. My dog is little and anxious, and I was not sure how she would do with another dog as large as Koda, Gregory’s dog. But Koda turned out to be very well trained and had a lovely calm demeanor. Maya was very comfortable and I will definitely be using Gregory again!”
“Kerry was wonderful — our dog is very particular and usually needs time to warm up to people, but he and Kerry were best friends immediately!! We also loved that Kerry sent us a ton of updates and pictures. Her home is very welcoming to pups, and we know Teddy felt comfortable and had a great time. Kerry is very easy to communicate with and flexible when planning pick-up and drop-off! We can’t wait until Teddy can visit Kerry again ❤️”
