About: I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember! Growing up in Linstead Jamaica, my family owned a small farm, where we tended goats and chickens. We also took care of 2 generations of Rottweilers, so for as long as I can remember, I have had pets. Because of this, I’ve gotten to care for dogs of all ages - from newborn to older, in sickness and health. Since moving to Philly in 2016, my family has rescued a Cat (Rocket) and a Shih Tzu (Betty White). Needless to say, if given the opportunity I will make sure to give not only care for, but love your pet! I am currently home full time. Feel free to reach out - I am available early mornings and nights, and for drop ins or house sittings when needed. I am also open to last minute bookings. I live with a family of 4. We live in a home in a very quiet neighborhood near Cobbs creek - with trails and parks within the vicinity. We currently do not have any of our own pets, but any pets we have cared for had the luxury of enjoying outdoors at almost any hour and to meet and play with other pets at different parks. As for drop ins, I will treat your home with the upmost respect.

About: I’ve grown up around pets my whole life; my parents always indulged my love for animals. I’ve raised birds, reptiles, fish, cats, dogs and rodents. Recently I’ve taken my hobby for training dogs more seriously and have been studying to become a professional dog trainer to fulfill a need within my community. Dog drop-in visits: I like to be thorough so your dog's day feels exactly like it does when you're home. Before your first visit, I'll ask where to find the spare leash, poop bags, water, and treats, and I'll want to know your usual walking route and routine. The more detail you can share, the better — I'd genuinely rather have too many instructions than too few, so your pup gets the same care and rhythm they're used to. Cat drop-in visits: For cats, I pay close attention to the details that keep them comfortable while you're away. I'll ask where the litter box is, whether it needs refilling, and exactly how you'd like it cleaned, plus where to find food, water, and treats. I also like to know their favorite toy and how they usually like to play or spend their day, so I can match their normal routine rather than disrupt it. Clear instructions are always welcome — I'd rather follow your way of doing things to the letter.

She was careful to point out that her stairway was sometimes a challenge for dogs and that it was important to make sure Mousse would be ok navigating them... and she'd thought out where to place the crate in her apartment so it wasn't in the sun. She sent regular check ins and Mousse was clearly having a great time in all the pictures :) In addition, Rebecca was very flexible and understanding when we were stuck in traffic and needed to delay pick up by a few hours. We hope to add Rebecca to our regular rotation of Rover sitters!”

We are new to Rover and she did a great job at explaining the whole process and made us feel very comfortable. We did a meet and greet before our booking and she made sure to ask us all the important questions about our pup. She made us feel really good about leaving our pup for about two weeks. She gave us updates and pictures which made us feel even better about being away and we know he was safe and happy! We came back and our pup looked so happy.
