Ana expertly administered the plethora of medications (oral and injectable) and checked Hannah’s blood glucose via glucometer. My family had dogs including a Beagle and a Lhasa Poo while I was growing up, and I'm the one who always says, "Can I say hi?!" when I see someone out walking their dog. During my volunteering at an animal shelter, I learned proper walking and handling methods, so every walk is set to be safe and happy! I’ll also send updates and photos, not just to say everything is fine, but so you can actually feel connected to them while you are away. My childhood friend and roommate, Matin, may also help me sometimes, and you may see her in some of my photos. She has had pets since childhood and fostered animals for several years, so she is very used to different personalities, nervous pets, affectionate pets, and animals who need a little extra patience. She is calm, loving, and very responsible, and I trust her completely with animals. Between the two of us, your pet will be cared for by people who genuinely like being around animals, but who also understand that trust matters. I’ll treat your pet with warmth, patience, and care, and I’ll treat your home and instructions with respect. This year, much of my work is remote, which gives me real flexibility in my schedule. That means I’m able to spend unrushed, attentive time with pets, not just quick check-ins, but actual companionship, care, and presence. I work full time from home. So I have the flexibility any day of the week and time of day for walks, overnights, and weekends. I have a backyard and front yard, and my neighborhood is walkable for extended time outside. I also have a cat who is 4 years old, so my home is welcome to any pets that get alone with others if an overnight stay is desired.

Kerry gave Winnie meds, eye drops, carried Winnie up and down her stairs (not an easy feat, Winnie weighs 45lbs!), and gave her so much love and affection. We will be planning all of our vacations around when Kerry is available from now on so we know Winnie will be in good hands when we’re out of town!”
