About: Safety first, my home has fences and gates to protect your love ones. If you work mid shift or over night and need somewhere for your four legged children to go while you work we have just the place for them. I love to play and cuddle with my dogs and would love the opportunity to have your love one stay with me in a loving home environment. I have watched the neighbors dog from time to time and had the care of my granddaughter who is a cat off and on for 2 years. I would rather leave my children (4 legged children) in a home setting if I had to travel away from home and they couldn't go with me. My husband loves animals too and since my husband isn’t working anymore one or the other of us is usually home all of the time. We have 2 four legged children that get along well with other dogs. We have a security system thru ADT. We also have motion cameras to keep an eye on your pets if we need to go out. About: I have a Bachelors of Science in Animal Science from Michigan State University and previously work as a Receptionist for a Veterinary Hospital as I am familiar with companion animal health and nutrition, as well as first aid. I have a Miniature Australian Shepherd of my own that I enjoy staying active with through hiking and teaching her new tricks. I also own a horse and occasionally take care of the horses that are kept in the barn with him by feeding, turning in, blanketing, and cleaning stalls for them. I also enjoy cooking, writing, and lounging around watching Netflix. I have a lot of experience caring for dogs and cats of many different breeds and personalities from Rottweilers to Shitzu's. From Persians to domestic shorthairs. I have experience with exotics that range from chameleons to rabbits as well. You name it, I’ve probably cared for it! I currently work remote Monday-Friday. Dog walking and pet care would be a great way to break up the mundane part of the week and allow me to get out more. Although I have an unfenced yard for my Australian Shepherd, all dogs will be kept on a leash for potty breaks. They will also get a walk on my lunch break and plenty of toys to play with. I'm currently transitioning into working a typical full time job, so my once very wide open schedule has slimmed down a lot. I can best typically do check ins and walks in the early morning and in the evening. I'm assuming that I'll be doing a typical 9 to 5, so anything before 9am or after 5pm is within reach for me to make sure your pets are well cared for and loved while you're away. ❤️ You can reach out to me with any schedule questions and I can try to work something out with you! I always do my very best to be as gentle as possible with all pets! I tend to avoid using "alpha" proving tactics unless it is necessary for my or your pets safety (ex. scruffing, using chokers tightly, using the shock option over the buzz option on an electric collar). I see these options as only being necessary when the pet is acceptionally aggressive and may hurt myself, itself, or others. I'm also very cautious around doors as I know many pets would take the opportunity to bolt it into the street if they could. I can handle bruises and scratches well from excited pets! I'm usually always covered in them from my own fur babies.

About: Hello all, I've owned cats, dogs, and horses for over 20 years now and was their main caregiver starting at 8 y.o. I've worked at many horse barns and pet sitter for many many friends over the years. I have skills in pet healthcare (administering medication, baths, cutting nails, etc), young animals, dog & horse training, rescue animals, and elderly animals. I do my best to provide stress free care for your pets. I currently work from home! This means I am available at any time throughout the day. We can absolutely devise a schedule get your pet the best care. When pets are in my home or I visit a client's home, I always take note of the animal's state looking for stress or anything out of the ordinary. I also will inspect the space the pet is in and make sure dangerous items (small items/chocolate/other) is out of reach of the pet. I make sure everyone has access to water at all times.
