“Equasia is a beautiful person with a kind and generous soul. I was in a bind, looking for someone to watch my cat Leonidas, who has diabetes this past holiday weekend. I was going for knee surgery the Monday after the holiday and needed a safe place for him to stay. Equasia was willing and able to watch him, being ok with giving him his medicine at such short notice. We spoke on the phone so we could have a brief introduction and I was sold. Not only was she able and willing to watch him but I had no way of picking him up after my hospital discharge and she was willing to bring him home. She went above and beyond the care and support that was needed. She kept me posted daily on how he was and sent me pictures of him as well. I will be going through this surgery again and I will be making arrangements with Equasia for care of my little guy Leonidas. She wasn't just a pet sitter, she was a pet parent and she cared for him as such. 5 stars, I will always go to her if and when I need extended pet care. She provides a comfortable home for a newcomer, making it a safe space for him. I couldn't ask for a better place and person to watch over Leonidas. About: I have always had experience with dogs. I have had dogs my whole life and I know how to care for them. I have also had experience training puppies as I have had two of them. I feed and let my dogs out daily. I also make sure they get enough exercise and take them for walks as much as I can. We put one of my dogs on a leash while they go to the bathroom and let my other dog roam wherever she pleases because she knows the boundaries of the yard.

I met her two dogs and found them to be gentle and well-behaved. Although our dogs were with her for only a four hour stay that day, she still somehow managed to get nice, little walk in for them! I have 3 cats and if your dog does not like cats, they are perfectly fine hanging out in the basement during your dog's stay. This is my 7th year pet sitting. I am very reliable and have pet sat for my neighbors, friends and family's pets. I volunteered for a pet shelter for six months cleaning cages and walking dogs. So, I turned my attention to my true passion - caring for dogs! I have been dog sitting for over 15 years and I love it. Every new dog that I meet reminds me how much I love dogs. I am flexible to the needs of every dog I care for and will make their experience with me as similar to their home life as possible. I have two dogs of my own, but they LOVE meeting new dogs to play with. If your dog is not as keen to new friendships, I can separate them all with ease. I have only one hard line, I need to meet you and your dog before the stay. I have learned that it is the best way to ensure your dog's comfort in their stay. I did not always adhere to this and I have seen some very stressed out fur babies. I want your fur pups happy and healthy as much as you do! Thank you for your consideration. I work from home so, I will be with your dogs all day. If we have any grocery trips or daycare drop offs, they will be crated for those brief periods. We keep our dog-less activities to a minimum during pet stays. We have no fence and our dogs run off-leash. With your dogs, I will walk them leashed because dogs (like children) test boundaries. We also go to creeks and hikes very often, and your dogs will join us leashed (if you approve).
