About: Hi! My name is Joan. I am recently retired and live on a farm. I have had dogs most of my life and have felt the passion to start dog sitting after losing our 15 yr old beloved dog fairly recently. I sure miss having furry four legged ones around to share my love for dogs, and want to be able to love on yours as I would my own. Having used Rover many times in the past for our own dog over the years, I know how very important it is to find someone you know you can trust to love & care for your pup, that perfect place that you won’t have to worry about them while you hoomans are away, that would be Me! I live on a farm with lots of acreage for running and playing. I also have experience with administering medications if needed. I want to make a worry free home away from home experience for your best friend(s) while mom & dad are away. With being retired, and pretty much a homebody, I will make sure that I will be home at all times to care for your pup. Potty breaks and play time will be frequent, with living on a farm we will be sure and have plenty of walking and running space for your pup. I live on a tucked off the road farm with plenty of acreage to run and play. Our farm is not a working farm, meaning we have no farm animals on the property. I have never crated any of my dogs, therefore I would not be crating yours unless of course you ask me to and provide the crate.

About: Back home I took care of many animals in my town. I raised a Husky, a Boxer-Lab, a Leopard Gecko and a Bearded Dragon as well. I have taken care of plenty of dogs, cats, puppies and even some farm animals for friends. Groomed, Served ice cream to dogs and cats at an animal ice cream parlor, walked dogs, dog-sat, and raised some amazing animals which tuned me into true animal care. I am currently raising an Australian Shepherd, Ziggy! He is full of life and super eager-to-learn, high maintenance too which is right up my alley. He is leash trained and off-leash, potty trained and loves to go to dog parks and run around till he can’t no more! Daily we walk Ziggy around town, give him plenty of potty breaks and playtime! He loves tossing around teddy bears and licking play-mats in his free time. I wake up and feed Ziggy, then take him outside, and feed him for dinner as well. We train him every day with certain commands and tricks. With all of my animals, I make sure to get them outside enough and play with them as much as I can. At home I always make sure my animals get fed twice a day and have water at all times and I always have water when going out on long walks, drives, and to the park. I am super on-top-of making sure they get enough potty breaks and teach them how to react a certain way when I ask if they want “Outside?Potty?” to house train.
About: I have been around dogs since I was younger had many dogs growing up and now have one of my own. I have always had so much love for all dogs. About: I (Eren) have been a veterinary technician since 2023, working in a variety of settings including a clinic, shelter, and university research hospital caring for special-needs dogs. Through this experience, I’m comfortable with medical care, senior pets, administering medications, recognizing early signs of illness, and handling animals with unique behavioral needs. I’ve also had animals my entire life, from cats and dogs to exotics, so I understand how different every species (and every personality!) can be. I’m patient, gentle, and confident with shy or anxious animals, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. My partner Luca is also part of our Rover profile and shares this same passion for animal care. We have multiple pets together and work as a team to provide attentive, reliable care. Luca previously worked at the same clinic I’m at as a receptionist and veterinary assistant, and now works in a science lab where he also helps care for lab animals. His experience makes him calm, capable, and very comfortable handling a wide range of animals. What sets us apart is that we combine professional veterinary experience with genuine, everyday love for animals. Between the two of us, your pets will always have attentive, knowledgeable, and compassionate care. We currently have cats, ferrets, mice and 1 bearded dragon of our own, and we hold ourselves to the same high standard of care that we would want for them. Pet care fits naturally into our weekly routine because animals have always been a huge part of our lives. I work full-time, but I schedule my Rover services around my work hours so that every visit gets my full attention. I’m typically available before or after work for drop-ins, walks, and evening check-ins, and I always communicate clearly about my availability. My partner Luca helps provide additional flexibility. He is a full-time student and works part-time in a lab, with a schedule that tends to stay consistent for longer periods. Because our schedules often complement each other, one of us is usually available when the other is not. This allows us to offer more consistent and reliable care throughout the day. Even with busy schedules, caring for animals is something we both genuinely enjoy and make time for, and we never take on more than we can fully commit to. We primarily care for pets in our clients’ homes, where they feel safest and most comfortable. As a veterinary technician, safety is always my first priority. We follow your pet’s normal routines closely, including feeding, medications, walks, and playtime, while also keeping an eye out for any early signs of stress or illness. We’re respectful of your home, trustworthy with your space, and committed to creating a calm, clean environment for your pets while you’re away. We provide regular updates, photos, and honest communication so you always know how your pet is doing.
About: I worked at a kennel for a year but I've had dogs all my life. There's never been a year I haven't had a dog. I have three dogs of my own currently so I take care of them almost every day. About: I have had dogs since I was 12. They have always been a favorite animal of mine. My family would always ask me to watch there dogs for them when they went away. I am off 2 days a week and I just wanted that time to spend taking care of dogs. I like to go on hikes and run around with my dog. I have a decent sized yard for your pups! About: Woof!!, Hello in dog language :) I don't currently own a dog but have had dogs in the past. I have 3 cats and if your dog does not like cats, they are perfectly fine hanging out in the basement during your dog's stay. This is my 7th year pet sitting. I am very reliable and have pet sat for my neighbors, friends and family's pets. I volunteered for a pet shelter for six months cleaning cages and walking dogs. About: I have been around dogs since I was younger had many dogs growing up and now have one of my own. I have always had so much love for all dogs. I have also have had cats growing up and love them just as much to! About: I have taken care of all different types of animals growing up.I grew up with a household full of dogs, and have gotten the chance to have dogs of my own now. I have watched and did weekend house sitting for friends/family. I have experience with most dog breeds. I have watched/taken care of a Cane Corso, Neapolitan Mastiff, and many other larger dog breeds. I have a two year old 160 pound Great Dane named Atticus and a 45 pound pitbull mix that are my entire world. I have experience with animals with diabetes and special diets. I love the outdoors and taking adventures with fur babies. I love the outdoors regardless of the weather, looking to take so more walks! I mostly work nights, my daytime and weekends are completely free. I have a fenced in yard, with many trails around me. I always keep a close eye on dogs when outside even in a fenced in yard.
About: I have years of experience. i have had animals all my life and have taken care of all different kinds - turtles, sugar gliders, rabbits, ferrets, lizards, cats and dogs. i have had to take care of senior dogs, and of dogs that needed medications everyday for either seizures or for pain due to being hit by a car. I look out more for the animal than i do for myself it seems. I work from home, i can play or arrange services M-W til 3p, Th and Fri all day long, and the Weekends before 7a and after 3p they can be all mine. My home is not fenced in, however my dog is trained and comes when called and doesn't need a leash. If Dogs are coming to my home; they will require a leash and harness. Customers will advise on how animals needs to be serviced in there home.

I have had dogs most of my life and have felt the passion to start dog sitting after losing our 15 yr old beloved dog fairly recently. I live on a tucked off the road farm with plenty of acreage to run and play. Our farm is not a working farm, meaning we have no farm animals on the property. I have never crated any of my dogs, therefore I would not be crating yours unless of course you ask me to and provide the crate.
