She introduced Mavis to her apartment, and her pet is around the same age, Sushi, and gave us some great tips on helping Mavis settle in. The Blink camera in the room where Mavis stayed was a nice touch, allowing Crystal to check in on her whenever she was out, which was reassuring. About: I didn’t start out as a “cat person,” but when my daughter asked for a cat in 2008, everything changed. Seventeen years later, I’ve shared my home with four beloved family cats, cared for two foster litters, and volunteered for five years at a no-kill shelter in New Jersey. At the shelter, I gained hands-on experience with socializing cats, giving oral medication, and tending to their daily needs. I know how important the little things are (like a fresh, clean litter box) because they make life so much better for cats. I take pride in providing that kind of thoughtful, consistent care. “We were a little apprehensive, never used Rover before, we were unfamiliar with Rillan, just had past reviews to help us choose. Happy to say, we were pleasantly surprised! Rillan is definitely a dog person. Our dog loves to play with other dogs, but dogs need to be monitored so they don’t get too crazy. She has a nice outdoor fenced play area and inside open space. Like a good kindergarten teacher, Rillan makes sure each dog plays nicely, separates those that need a time out and also gives individual attention. She sent pictures and stayed in touch, just for an afternoon of doggie day care! Our dog’s day ended with a nap and snuggles with Rillan and another dog hanging out on the sofa!! About: Ever since we adopted my dog in 2019, I have been obsessed with caring for animals. I have taken my dog on at least 100 walks in his lifetime so far, and I don’t plan to stop anytime soon! From experience with my own pets, I find that dogs and cats miss their owners just as much as their owners miss them when they’re away, if not more. That being said, after completing any responsibilities the family has asked of me, I always take some extra time to hang out with the pets to make sure they feel loved while missing their family. I also find that the families appreciate picture and text updates of how their pets are doing while they’re gone. I always make sure to do that so the owners can trust their pets are in good hands.
About: I’ve always been a dog family, growing up with always 2 dogs or more in my family households. When I was 20, I adopted my soul dog Dusty, who was extremely dog reactive. He showed me a lot of how to deal with reactive dogs, especially on walks and dealing with strangers who may not get that their dog may be friendly, but yours may need that extra space to be comfortable. I now also own two cats, adopted from the local shelter Paws and they have become my life. They are very clingy but also shy towards strangers. So I also very understand if you own some shy cats, I would love them just the same! I currently live all year in State College, work full time but still have plenty of time for my cats and still have more time for others. Just let me know 24 hours ahead or more and it can happen! I am fully comfortable crating all kinds of dogs, walking any breed, or dealing with any shy temperamental cat. I really love animals with all my heart, and you have my word when you’re not home- you don’t need to worry about your furry loved one back home.
About: I have owned dogs all of my life and volunteered with various animal rescues. I have cared for diabetic dogs and dogs with other special needs. I love every dog I meet and will treat your dog as my own. It will be showered with love and belly rubs. I would love the opportunity to pamper and love your dog as my own. I work part time in addition to attending grad school. My schedule is generally flexible. Feel free to reach out with specifics of your request and I will do my best to accommodate. I treat the dogs I sit as I would my own. We start our day with a morning walk before breakfast and play time. I am normally home by 4:30 and spend most evenings relaxing at home.
About: I grew up with 2 dogs and now I have a 1 year old chocolate lab puppy who just graduated from training. I am very familiar with training strategies as I just went through them including potty training, leash training, etc. I would love to extend love and care to your babies as well! I am a Penn State student who is local to State College. I have a light schedule and even have a puppy of my own so I am taking care of pets all day everyday! I am currently taking a class remotely and am able to spend all day with your pet as I have a pet of my own that I am spending time with!

About: I grew up taking care of pets for neighbors and family, and have had many of my own. At home now, I have our dog Kona and a bearded dragon named Norbert, plus two kids. I'm comfortable with caring for all dogs and cats of all sizes and ages. I'd love to send you photos and updates if you would like so you know how things are going while you are away. I can't wait to meet your furry friend! I'm home most of the day, so your pet won't be left alone for long stretches. I absolutely love taking walks so we will be doing plenty of those. If your pet needs a specific feeding or potty schedule, just let me know and I'll stick to it. Our yard isn't fenced, so your dog will go out on leash for walks and potty breaks several times a day. My Dog is super friendly and always up for a new friend. If your pup prefers quiet time or needs a crate to decompress, I can absolutely make that happen as well. I will go over your dogs preferences when I get a chance to talk with you. I'm more than happy to make accommodations to fit your pets needs.
