“This was perfect for what I needed. We had no local friends or family that could take our cat. We were going to be away but he couldn't be at the house because we were having work done on it while we were gone. They took our cat into their home. I was surprised to see they had other cats when I arrived. But one question on the survey was if your pet does well with other cats, which he does, but cats tend to not be friendly with new cats initially so I was a bit worried they'd fight, but they had a separate area, a sun room that they allowed Sox to adjust in and during the week they had sent pictures of him being inside the home on the couch so obviously it was fine. I actually never met or dealt with Sarah only her Mom. Which I felt was odd. I was expecting the person pictured, the person I paid. Her Mom was lovely and clearly there were no issues and my cat was returned safely to me, I just felt it was odd the Sarah was sleeping or "resting because she works a lot" both times I was there. I didn't take any stars off my review for that, because again the service accomplished what I needed which was my cat to be cared for outside of my home.”

About: I've had dogs in my life since I was in my 20s. I have crate and potty trained all my dogs. I have patience and compassion for dogs. I would often meet up with friends and family at house party gathering and dog park gatherings to socialize my dogs and to show them love, companionship, and that they are a member of the family not only a pet. I've kept and cared for dogs until there dying age and paid for there cremation. I am indeed a dog loving person. I have extensive experience in dog walking and pet sitting, with a specialty in rabbits, rats, guinea pigs, and other exotics, in addition to many years of husbandry, training, and maintenance at horse boarding facilities and other farms. In addition to my work with domesticated animals, I also worked in my college's vivarium for three semesters, training capuchin monkeys in basic actions designed to keep them safe, enriched, and calm with vet staff. Personally, I am the proud bunny mom to four free-roam rescue rabbits. In my lifetime, I’ve also owned and loved dogs, horses, rats, gerbils, hamsters, mice, turtles, aquatic frogs, and small lizards; I have cared for cats, ferrets, guinea pigs, parrots, goats, donkeys, and more. As a dog walker and pet sitter, I have cared for terriers to pit bulls; puppies to seniors with special needs. About: I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve been around all kinds of animals my whole life, from chickens, hamsters to cats, dogs, and even horses. I’ve helped care for cats and dogs for family and friends in the past, providing feeding, playtime, companionship, and general care. I genuinely love spending time with animals! I’m very patient and understanding, which I think is super important when it comes to pet care (and earning their trust!). I am a college student but I usually only have two classes in the morning, which leaves me free the rest of the day to give your pets plenty of attention, care, and love! I have a fenced backyard and a super friendly, medium-sized dog, along with a cat who spends most of her day exploring outside.
