About: Dogs have always held a special place in my heart. I grew up with three wonderful dogs throughout my childhood, each teaching me something different about love, patience, and companionship. One of them was even a future seeing-eye dog. Although we only had him for about a year before he went on to begin his important work, it was incredibly rewarding to be part of his journey and to help prepare him for the life-changing role he would have. When my husband and I bought our first home, one of the very first things we did was adopt the sweetest girl named Kora.
