He isn't used to being off the leash. He ran around the yard barking at the cars going by (which were pretty far away) and got some good exercise. Although he was sad that we left him, Mary and Dan took great care of him and made him feel at home. They were willing to let him sleep in the bed with them which I think made him feel safe. They sent a picture or a video each day and were quick to keep in touch when we messaged them. He was happy to see us when we got back, but I think he had a good time with them and I would go back to them again.”

About: I grew up in the home of biologist who kept all sorts of pets. I have experienced caring for a variety of animals, however have the most familiarity with care for canines. I spent a few years fostering dogs with different issues such as separation anxiety and aggression. I raised and trained a Belgian Malinois from 16 weeks to 1 year, giving me experience with intelligent and high energy dogs. I woke full-time from home and therefore am available to be with the pets all day. I am currently a full-time stay at home mom who works remotely about 10 hours a week. MY schedule is open and flexible to accommodate pets. I currently have a 2 year old son who enjoys animals. I am mindful of safety practice for children and pets to keep both safe. I do not have a fenced in yard and will use a leash to leave the house at all times. Depending on your pet's behavior I can crate them and keep them separated in another part of the house.

About: My family has always been an animal house; I have 3 dogs, a cat and a bird! I also have been housesitting and petsitting dogs and cats for my neighbors since I was 12-13. Additionally, I’ve volunteered at my local animal shelter (Main Line Animal Rescue) by going through dog walk orientation and worked with all sorts of dogs. “Casie and Kirin were wonderful. Casie asked a lot of questions to get to know Ollie and was very reassuring when we dropped us off. She let us know how things were going and sent us videos. Ollie had a great time and we look forward to having Casie board Ollie for us in the future.”
