“We needed to leave Roughy for 4 days. Mary and Dan were great. This was Roughy's first time staying with them. They have a huge fenced in yard that Roughy appeared to love. He isn't used to being off the leash. He ran around the yard barking at the cars going by (which were pretty far away) and got some good exercise. Although he was sad that we left him, Mary and Dan took great care of him and made him feel at home. They were willing to let him sleep in the bed with them which I think made him feel safe. They sent a picture or a video each day and were quick to keep in touch when we messaged them. He was happy to see us when we got back, but I think he had a good time with them and I would go back to them again.”

About: I’ve been a dog person my whole life, growing up I had a family dog that I took care of since he was a puppy, rescued him from the street and be there for him till the end. Always proactively learning new ways to better take care of our furry friend, try to provide more and better. I work close by for 4 days of a week, I can provide walks every 3-4 hours depends on the need. I take boarding starting Thursday afternoon till Sunday if you needs short road trip! I have a studio apartment with minimal furniture, gives a whole living room to provide exercise. The apartment also includes a dog park for socialization and fun!
About: I have had 5 dogs ranging in needs, size, and age (lab, chow chow, dachshund, blue heeler, and corgi). I have provided care to my own pets as well as family, friends, and neighbors for my entire life. I frequently volunteer at the SPCA where I take various dogs on walks and take care of them outside the shelter for a full day. I absolutely love all animals, especially dogs. “We needed to leave Roughy for 4 days. Mary and Dan were great. This was Roughy's first time staying with them. They have a huge fenced in yard that Roughy appeared to love. He isn't used to being off the leash. He ran around the yard barking at the cars going by (which were pretty far away) and got some good exercise. Although he was sad that we left him, Mary and Dan took great care of him and made him feel at home. They were willing to let him sleep in the bed with them which I think made him feel safe. They sent a picture or a video each day and were quick to keep in touch when we messaged them. He was happy to see us when we got back, but I think he had a good time with them and I would go back to them again.”
