About: We both have lots of experience caring for dogs of all personalities and ages from both a senior dog with dementia to energetic puppies! We have flexible schedules and are comfortable accomodating medication routines, structured exercise and mental stimulation! We have a flexible schedule and are home most days, so we are able to give pets plenty of attention, exercise, and consistency throughout the day! We can provide a calm, structured environment with plenty of supervision, exercise, and engagement. We have a very friendly 1.5-year-old double doodle who loves other dogs, but we can easily separate pets and provide a safe, comfortable space if they need. “Heather was a last minute life saver! I gifted my partner a pair of concert tickets six months prior as a Christmas present, and it was finally the day of the concert. However, I was at risk of missing the concert due to my dog, Chaos, having a big oral procedure 1.5 weeks prior that resulted in 20 teeth extracted and multiple sutures. Two of the sutures had come undone causing him to have a painful experience until they were able to be re-sutured (problem solved!) two days before the concert. I monitored Chaos’s recovery up until the day of the concert to make the final decision if I will stay home with him or attend the concert with my partner. Thankfully Chaos improved enough in the final 24 hours where I felt comfortable boarding him. When I called Chaos’s regular place of boarding (Pet Hotel at Petsmart) the morning of the concert, I understandably learned they are unable to accept pets with sutures due to policy. I opened Rover and began searching for a last minute sitter who had immediate availability, didn’t have more than one dog, and could provide extra care and attention to my recovering dog. That’s where I found Heather, who offered to set Chaos up in a pen in the kitchen so he could have his own space to chill, and overall had a wonderful vibe of assuring me he will be in good hands. An hour later, I dropped Chaos off with Heather and was scheduled to pick him up at 11:30pm that night. She sent us updates including a photo of him relaxing in the shade in her backyard, drunk from his pain meds. Exiting the concert venue and getting on the MAX took longer than expected due to the large crowds, resulting in us running late and pushing the pick up time from 11:30pm to 12:10am. I felt guilt and shame typing that message since it was already late in the night but Heather was super cool about it! When we picked Chaos up, he was very relaxed and could tell he had a wonderful experience hanging out with Heather and her family. Although I checked my phone frequently during the concert, I was never worried about Chaos and was able to fully be present and enjoy the experience with my partner, all thanks to Heather! Heather is amazing, understanding, has a wealth of knowledge & experience with dogs, and we happily recommend her to anyone who is in need of her services!”

About: My passion for animals runs deep. I have been taking care of dogs since childhood (35+ years). Professionally, I have experience working at a doggie daycare and for a self-service dog wash. I view all animals as God's creatures. My schedule is often flexible. I work part-time in Beaverton Wednesday-Saturday. Much of my work can be done online so if you need me to watch your pet in your house for an extended amount of time, a requirement would be reliable internet or the ability to come and go as needed. I have pets of my own so I would need the flexibility to check on my pets from time to time. Working in pet drop-ins and dog walks around my work schedule is easy. I can board your pet at my house most Sundays-Tuesdays. I am able to care for your pet(s) in the specific ways that you need. I will not create or enforce bad habits. I have no problem crating your pet, keeping them off the furniture, following a strict diet, or administering medication. I live out in the country on 15 acres and have many animals. Inside the house lives a 4-year-old sweet German Short-hair pointer and 50% of the time I am watching a friend's cat. If your dog loves to run, my place would be heaven. This would only be ideal for dogs that come when they are called as there is no fencing. The other option would be that your pet stays inside and only ventures out with a leash. I have 12 acres of timber so walks in the woods are super fun!

She had toys available, a great environment for them, and also boarded only our girls without other dogs during their stay, which made us feel even more comfortable and helped reduce stress for them. She also gave us thoughtful feedback, training tips, and helpful suggestions that we genuinely appreciated as first-time Rover users and German Shepherd owners still learning along the way. It never felt judgmental, just supportive and caring. Overall, Britney went above and beyond for our girls, and we are so grateful for the care, patience, and attention she gave them. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, experienced, and genuinely caring for their pets.☺️🐾🩷”
