About: What does your cat need? Food? I know I'm little more than opposable thumbs that know where the kibble and treats live. Play? I'm fully prepared to run around with a string and congratulate the kitty on catching me. Meds? Swaddle. No matter what is needed, I will read the cat's behavior to respect their boundaries. I pet them only when invited to do so by the cat. Hissing can be waited out or skirted around. I have no desire to make a cat's day worse.

About: I’ve owned cats all my life, and a few dogs. I have experience volunteering at a local animal shelter, working with both cats and dogs when I was younger . I have a 4H background as well. We adopted our dog Frida 2 years ago. I’m a stay at home, homeschooling mom with a flexible schedule. We are home often and already own a dog. It's not much more work to add one or two into the mix. My kids love dogs and enjoy meeting new ones. We all love that owning dogs helps us to be outside more, either playing with the dogs or taking them on walks. My three children adore dogs and cats, and will give lots of love and attention. We live near parks and have a great neighborhood for walks. Dogs are allowed to free range of the house and fenced yard. They are allowed on the couches.

Working and caring for 50+ dogs at a time takes a different kind of attention and patience that definitely took time to learn, but I loved every second of it. I have experience with quite the variety of different dogs. From XS to XL, newborn to senior, fearful to aggressive, anxious to energetic, I’ve seen it all. I can also give medications if necessary, do a basic groom, and basic training. I’m also very comfortable with cats. Aside from having some myself for 8 years, I love learning about a new cat and understanding its habits/personality. I truly love all animals and creatures and am very open to helping care for any other pets you may have. Currently my only job is to be a dog & cat mom so my schedule is very flexible. Aside from recurring appointments that I attend, I’m open to working with what works best for you. I can work with any form of care that you give your babies. Every pet is unique and I can definitely switch gears depending on their personality and if they have specific needs.

“Kathrine is an AMAZING sitter! I went out of town for 5 days and left my pup with her at her home. I immediately felt comfortable leaving her there when I dropped her off. She sent pics, videos, and updated me on all things (eating, pooping, etc.). Her dog, Ophelia, was the sweetest companion and I could tell her and my dog were besties from the pics she sent! “Best decision ever! We were nervous about leaving our two dogs with someone we did not know but with one getting older we didn’t want them to be in a kennel and not have interaction with others. We were gone over a week to Hawaii and I received regular updates and pictures. I could tell they were well cared for and having a great time. It was a good peace of mind being so far away.
