“I can’t say enough kind words about Gayle and her housemate Seth! They welcomed my boys into their home on very short notice for an overnight stay and fun day of play with their sweet pup Sitka. Sitka was a peach and shared all her toys with my boys. They were like 3 peas in a pod! Gayles home is the ultimate pup set up! Very clean and organized, lots of room inside and out for everyone to run and play freely. She provided me with frequent updates and pics of the boys enjoying themselves and OH! The way they bonded with her housemate! They were so comfortable and enjoyed all the cuddle time he gave them! “Diana cared for our 16 yr dog for a week. She is an excellent communicator and professional. Her home has plenty of outdoor space for him to roam free. She sent regular updates and pictures. She also is a groomer. Our pup is afraid of anyone who tries to groom him and hates water. Despite these obstacles she managed to give him a nice trim. “We threw a small superbowl party at our home. Floki does not do well with guests stopping by, so we searched for near by dog sitter to watch him for the evening. We met with Jordan a couple weeks prior to dropping Floki off. He did well with him and his son. Jordan sent pictures throughout his, putting our mind to ease! The picture of our dog with his head on his son's lap was PERFECT! Like I said, he doesn't do well with strangers stopping by so this made both of us very happy receiving this photo! Floki is a very energetic dog and he was tired when he came home. Jordan took Floki for 2 long walks which was not expected but appreciated! He went above and beyond previous sitters!!! So grateful to have found him! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Oh and another thing that we must mention, he got along with the other dogs he cared for; out of the norm for Floki! About: I live on a small sheep farm. Dogs will be on long leash outdoors, but lots of room for walks multiple times a day. My dog is very good with other dogs. I work from home most of the time so they will get lots of attention. I work from home, so multiple daily walks and couch cuddles are a typical day with me. I do not leave more than 4-6 hours at a time. I have a fully fenced yard, but since I have livestock, I keep dogs on a long lead so they can explore but also be safe.
“Jennifer is absolutely amazing! She took care of my dog as if she were her own pet/child. She sent at least two updates each day with photos or videos attached. I could tell my dog was happy and loved. There was a minor incident with another dog, which can happen as dogs have a different way of communicating than humans do. This was in no way any fault of Jennifers. How she handled the situation is what sets her apart from others. Her primary concern was that my dog was taken care of in the best way possible and she did whatever was necessary to make that happen. I highly recommend Jennifer and will definitely take my dog to her again.”

About: I've had cats throughout my childhood and adult life, and I've lived with cats more often than not. What I love about cats is how varying their personalities are, and they are so unique in that sense because you often times cannot tell what they're going to be like as an adult when they're a kitten. If I had it my way, I'd be sleeping with cats in my bed every night.

About: I was raised in a dog and cat household and loved taking care of them. For the brief time in my adulthood that I did not have a pet, I would dog/cat sit for a various families often. I am fond of elderly dogs/cats and have taken care a few (including giving medications, shots, cooking specific diets, etc). I am also comfortable feeding farm animals such as horses and mules. I work full-time from my home allowing flexible time to play and care for animals. My outings are usually quick errands around town so my pets get a lot of dog mom time! I am available to do longer stays given that I work remote and love making pets feel safe and comfortable whilst their owners are away. I have a fenced-in yard and 2 friendly dogs (lab and border collie mix) to keep your furry loved one company! I also play music often for myself and for the dogs. I find it helps soothe some anxiety for them as well!

This was a super last minute booking after my previous sitter cancelled and she responded immediately and was willing to take over and show up instantly. About: I have always been “dog” person. I got my first dog when I was 5 and have had multiple dogs since. I was a dog walker for neighbors and friends during adolescence and my teen years. After I recently lost my sweet and wonderful 16.5 year old Blue Heeler, Sooky, I have so much love to share and I'd be thrilled to give it to your fur baby! I'm experienced with dogs at all life stages, from energetic puppies to mellow seniors. About: I've been an animal lover as long as I can remember. When I was 9 years old, my Dad got me my first Golden Retriever for Valentine's Day 1998. Her name was Star. I wanted a Golden because I fell in love with Shadow from "Homeward Bound". Star was my best friend, and we trained together in Canine Good Citizenry and agility. She could jump through hula hoops, over my arm, and she knew all sorts of tricks. I also love horses and used to spend summers and spring breaks on my cousin's farm in Apopka, Florida where she was the Barn Manager for a gal who rode in the Irish Olympics for the Equestrian Team. I had my own horse when I was younger, but we sadly had to sell her when my mother passed away when I was 9 years old. I've had dogs and cats off and on my entire life, but sadly, I just recently moved to Oregon and do not have any pets of my own right now for a few reasons: The first is that I'm working diligently to get established in Oregon and currently have a Mon-Thursday schedule with the City of Salem that requires me to be away from home for over 10 hours a day. Second, my roommate has a sick and aging cat who is not doing well, and we do not want to stress him out by adding pets to the house right now. Hopefully, my roommate will be able to reconsider when things change, but for now, Bok Choy (and his comfort) is our main priority at my house. Third, I'm hoping to move my Dad out to Oregon within the next 3 years, but for now, he is living alone as a retiree in Georgia, where I grew up. He is very attached to our dog Hank, and even though I'm definitely Hank's favorite person, I couldn't stand the thought of separating those two because I felt like my Dad needs Hank more than I do as Hank is his reason to get up in the morning! I miss Hank more than words can express, but I think we made the right call because Hank does not like being alone, and Dad can accommodate this as he is retired whereas I am in the main career years. I have previous dog sitting experience, but sadly, my identity was hacked, and I lost all of my photos on my Facebook account and lost many of my contacts through my old email address that I lost access to. I have also done amateur dog training and hope to get a professional certification in dog training within the next 12 months. I am happy to house sit during my work week if you only have cats that need tending after office hours. I won't be accepting house sitting for dogs unless there is an understanding of my work schedule and the dog has access to a doggy door and a yard or puppy pads are used during the day. I would highly recommend finding a sitter who can be with your dog during the business day instead of requesting me if you have dogs and need assistance during my work week (Mon-Thurs). This is a Side Hustle for me, but it also the more meaningful of my jobs because I love animals more than anything else in this world, and being around them is good for my mental health. I currently work Monday-Thursday until 4:30PM so it will be difficult for me to provide overnight dog sitting until Thursday after 5 PM unless your dog has access to a doggy door or puppy pads. I would highly recommend finding a sitter who does this full time if you need assistance during business hours Monday-Thursday. When I am at your house, your pet is my priority. If they need exercise or stimulation, we will make that happen. I will almost feel guilty for getting paid for it because it will literally be my pleasure. I will ask you to leave detailed instructions that will make my life easier and expect you to extend trust to me to do my job well. I understand it is difficult and that trust is earned and not freely given, but we need to have a clear discussion before you leave about what your expectations are so I can decide If I can meet those in a way that will not cause me undue anxiety. If you need someone after 5PM Mon-Thursday or anytime on the weekends, I am your sitter!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 16 whenever my family or friends go out of town I’m always the go to person for pet sitting following each direction from feeding bathing to night time. I also send out updates so no worry’s. I am currently available Monday through Sunday, offering flexible scheduling for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care, including weekends, holidays, and last-minute requests when needed , but if plans change please let me know 2 or 3 days before thank you When caring for pets, their safety is always my top priority. About: I have grown up being surrounded by dogs! My dad always had dogs in our home. I raised my pitbull/lab mixed breed dog Nala from when I was the age of Ten until she passed away when I was 21 years old. She taught me a lot about being a pet owner as well as a person! About: I live on a small sheep farm. Dogs will be on long leash outdoors, but lots of room for walks multiple times a day. My dog is very good with other dogs. I work from home most of the time so they will get lots of attention. I work from home, so multiple daily walks and couch cuddles are a typical day with me. I do not leave more than 4-6 hours at a time. I have a fully fenced yard, but since I have livestock, I keep dogs on a long lead so they can explore but also be safe.

I’m comfortable administering medications and navigating the different needs of your pets. I’m currently working part time from home. I have a fully fenced in backyard and I’m home more than I’m not. I’m also training for a marathon so if you have a dog that enjoys longer walks or short runs I’d be happy to take them out for those! My yard is fully fenced and my home is kept clean.
