About: I got my first cat when I was a teen, though I wanted one my whole life. I've had several cats since then, and I've helped care for my friends' and family's cats as well. I've raised kittens, helped care for senior cats, and managed aggressive or standoffish cats. What I enjoy the most about meeting new cats is learning their unique behaviors and helping them feel safe and comfortable. I really connect with cats because I relate to them a lot!

About: Hi there! I've been taking care of animals since I was young. Growing up on a farm gave me all the experience with all sorts of different animals. Here in the Portland metro area I take care of mostly dogs and cats, and the occasional chicken or two! Your furry, or feathery, friends will be treated with gentle care and compassion as all creatures need! I currently only work as a sitter so your friends and pet family will have my undivided attention and care. I am available every day each week and especially on holidays! For dogs that will be staying either daycare or overnight, there is a large doggie area at the back of my complex. About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.

I've cared for puppies, senior dogs, dogs with medical conditions and allergies, and dogs of all sizes from chihuahuas to Bernese mountain dogs. About: Having grown up on a farm I have been around animals my entire life. My favorite have always been dogs and cats. I have taken animal care and vet sciences in 4H and volunteered in an animal shelter. I can't imagine life without animals, they add so much joy to life. I currently work part time as a caregiver for seniors. Most of my days are 4 to 6 hours long with weekends off. I have a flexible schedule . About: Hi there! I've been taking care of animals since I was young. Growing up on a farm gave me all the experience with all sorts of different animals. Here in the Portland metro area I take care of mostly dogs and cats, and the occasional chicken or two! Your furry, or feathery, friends will be treated with gentle care and compassion as all creatures need! I currently only work as a sitter so your friends and pet family will have my undivided attention and care. I am available every day each week and especially on holidays! For dogs that will be staying either daycare or overnight, there is a large doggie area at the back of my complex. There is also a long walking trail down the hill that I take dogs on that need some more exercise!
