About: What does your cat need? Food? I know I'm little more than opposable thumbs that know where the kibble and treats live. Play? I'm fully prepared to run around with a string and congratulate the kitty on catching me. Meds? Swaddle. No matter what is needed, I will read the cat's behavior to respect their boundaries. I pet them only when invited to do so by the cat. Hissing can be waited out or skirted around. I have no desire to make a cat's day worse.

About: I was raised in a dog and cat household and loved taking care of them. For the brief time in my adulthood that I did not have a pet, I would dog/cat sit for a various families often. I am fond of elderly dogs/cats and have taken care a few (including giving medications, shots, cooking specific diets, etc). I am also comfortable feeding farm animals such as horses and mules. I work full-time from my home allowing flexible time to play and care for animals. My outings are usually quick errands around town so my pets get a lot of dog mom time! About: I have worked with many different breeds such as pit bulls, boxers, mastiffs, golden retrievers and many more. Each had their own unique needs and personalities. I am willing to work with any breed even with special needs. I have experience with many different animals not just dogs and cats. I have worked with horses, bearded dragons, a few birds and a few more. If your animals needs care i will do it. I have a dog of my own and a bearded dragon so pet care is in my everyday life and so your pet is not much different. I can not board animals in my home cause i have a high anxiety senior dog so bringing any animal in to my home will not work but i will definitely stay at yours cause its a comfort thing for them. Its there own home. It not fair to kick them out of their own home. I have worked with animals for 3 years and been around them my whole life and i never had a problem and i am good at communicating with owners and i will ask questions if needed amd they can ask if needed also.
About: I have worked at a boarding facility for three years. I currently work at an animal emergency facility and have been here for 2 years. I love animals and caring for them is my calling. I am well trained in dealing with emergency, animal nutrition, can trim nails and do basic grooming of pets as well! I am very flexible and am able to juggling my responsibility as needed. I do work as a veterinary assistant but I have a set schedule that allows me to be work another job. I have a create if needed. I have cat and dog proofed my home. I have a quiet room for birds and rodents if need be that away from the fur babies. I leash walk dogs only. I am willing to leash walk cats but only by request. I live by the Jackson Frazier Wet lands so walking dogs there is always a nice walk for them and me.

So nice to not have dogs in a crate or kennel the whole time you are gone, and with Sandy they get to hang out and run around with her 3 Golden Retrievers, inside and safely outside, which is fenced. She sent us pictures while we were gone, of each dog sleeping on the couch. Very accommodating for pick-up and drop-off as well.”
