About: I was raised in a dog and cat household and loved taking care of them. For the brief time in my adulthood that I did not have a pet, I would dog/cat sit for a various families often. I am fond of elderly dogs/cats and have taken care a few (including giving medications, shots, cooking specific diets, etc). I am also comfortable feeding farm animals such as horses and mules. I work full-time from my home allowing flexible time to play and care for animals. My outings are usually quick errands around town so my pets get a lot of dog mom time! I am available to do longer stays given that I work remote and love making pets feel safe and comfortable whilst their owners are away. Having cared for animals my entire life—from foster dogs to rabbits, cats, and small pets—I’m comfortable adapting to a wide variety of temperaments and care needs. My goal is to create a calm, safe, and positive environment where your pet can feel secure and loved.
About: I’ve always grown up with pets in the house and we’ve had dogs in all ranges from chihuahuas to siberian huskies! I trained all three of our huskies to sit, shake, lay down, pray, roll over, etc. They are also all leash trained. My cats are fed twice daily so I definitely understand the importance of keeping a routine with pets! We are fortunate to have an automatic litter box, but I truly don’t mind cleaning litter boxes/picking up after pets. My cats have been trained to stay off furniture in my home and are leash trained to go on walks with me. They are fed twice a day and has access to their space which includes their food and water, litter box, cat tree, and toys at all times.
About: I've taken care of animals since childhood. On the farm, I took care of chickens, cattle, cats, and dogs. I have experience with exotic pets. I've worked in an animal shelter, several veterinary clinics, and attended veterinary school for nearly 2 years. I'm very comfortable with giving medications and senior care. I’m able to care for pets daily during the week and over the weekends, and I can provide care in the middle of the day as well. I think it’s so important to care for a pet in their own home where they will feel the most comfortable, and I strive to keep to their routine to ease anxiety. I’m very respectful of the homes I pet sit in, and I always leave the place spotless.
