“Sandy took wonderful care of my dog, Albert, and kept me updated with great communication throughout his stay. Albert clearly enjoyed hanging out with other dogs his size, and I could tell he was well cared for. I’d absolutely book with Sandy again!”

“Annika and John are wonderful! They took great care of my anxious and needy pup for a week and kept me in the loop with daily photos and updates which I really appreciated. They took note of all my dog’s needs and asked questions, I could tell they really cared. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with them and will happily rebook!”

“Our pup had a wonderful stay! Lajetta sent tons of pictures of our dog while we were away and was super responsive to texts. We will definitely try and book her again in the future!”

“Beatrix seemed to have had a wonderful time with Lisa! Lisa was very communicative and even helped out providing her own when I forgot to bring the batch I had premade for B's special food addition, saving me time of having to run home when I had to catch a flight. She provided pictures every day and made sure Beatrix was settled when dropping her off at my home and even sent a video. She checked in with me when Beatrix's arthritis was acting up before giving the "as needed" meds. I will definitely use Lisa again!”

“Barry and his pup are fantastic hosts! I received many updates and photos which I really appreciate, and my dog was happy and healthy. Will definitely book with Barry again!”

“Heath and Amy were amazing! Super flexible with all drop off and pickup needs, they have a lovely family that clearly love animals. Our dog was super happy to spend over a week with them which isn't super common as she is typically a bit nervous about new home environments. Not in this case, she made herself right at home thanks to their welcoming presence and their own pup was the perfect playmate. We will definitely be reaching out to them for future dogsitting needs.”

“Our pups had such a great time with Taylor and Liv. We felt at ease knowing they were in great hands. They were comfortable with administering meds, managing their reactivity, and ensuring our pups were comfortable.”

“Juan took great care of our dog and kittens. He sent pictures and updates while we were out of town. He responded quickly and was very friendly. For our next trip we will definitely use his services again.”

“Evita was AMAZING! I would 10/10 recommend her to watch your fur baby. She sent us lots of picture updates while we were on vacay which was so sweet :’) And I could tell our little guy was well taken care of. Thanks again!”

“Amber and her family were awesome. She is definitely a Dog person. Went over and above any of my expectations. I feel very safe leaving any of my pets with her and her family. I will definitely use her again.”

“Heather was an incredible host to my little dog Bubba! She treated him like he was her own. She was willing to meet us before booking and show me her place. Her apartment was meticulous and pet friendly. She communicated often and shared cute pictures and updates daily. She has an adorable dog and cat that my dog enjoyed hanging out with. I know Bubba loved his time with them because he keeps trying to walk us back to her building when I take him out.”
“Paul and Arnel were the best hosts! They were excellent communicators, sent us tons of pics of our boy, and did so many fun things with him. It really felt like they made him part of their family. I would highly recommend them to any pup parent.”

“Mossy was very cared for during her stay with Christine and Steven. She got frequent walks and even a bath! We would definitely have Mossy stay with Christine and Steven again.”

“Peter, was wonderful with our Mocha. Lots of updates with photos. We didn’t worry about her at all knowing he was with her. Peters son was great with Mocha as well. Lots of walks. She came home healthy and happy. Thank you Peter.🐶”

“Kind and caring. Our dog bolts right inside like it’s her second home (we try to tell her it’s not). She loves Ron’s dog Emma, which seems to really help with having a companion dog there with ours to keep her company while boarding.”

“My dog Judy had a blast boarding with Chris, Bear and Cosmo. The accommodations were super dog friendly, with dog gates, doors, and especially the huge yard setup where the dogs had tons of space to run, play, and burn off energy. Judy got plenty of exercise and there was more than enough room for larger dogs to be comfortable too. Chris also took them to the great dog parks nearby, and Judy had a great time exploring there as well. It was also nice that all the dogs got along, which made everything feel easy and comfortable. Judy came home happy, tired, and had a great time during her stay. It was obvious she was being very well cared for and getting lots of attention the whole time. Thanks Chris!”

“I was very excited to find Rosemary, after my original Rover sitter cancelled on me. We did a Meet and Greet beforehand, and Rosemary was so warm and friendly. I immediately felt at ease, and assured that the dogs would be in good hands. From beginning to end, Rosemary was very communicative, responded quickly, and followed up when she said she would. She sent updates and pics of how the dogs were doing during their stay. Rosemary understood the needs of our dogs. We will definitely use Rosemary in the future. She is a breath of fresh air, and a great sitter!”

“Very grateful to Holly and her family for taking such good care of our two little pups. They have a great time, were well cared for and exercised and came home happy and safe.”

About: I'm Nicole, I'm a mom of a 6 year old golden retriever named Peach. I raised her from a puppy and I love her like my own child, she is such a blessing. We like to go to the park to play fetch or watch a movie and cuddle! All of my friends have pets nowadays so we are often trading pet watching throughout the year. I work remotely 8-4 PM M-F and have a lot of flexibility to do things around the house or run errands, so that includes taking care of extra pets. I live with my boyfriend, and we have no children. We have a house with a smaller backyard and live near Laurelhurst park. I work remotely at my house roughly 8-4pm M-F and have a lot of flexibility to take care of Peach and other animals. My weekends are usually filled with house projects, thrifting or getting out to an outdoor activity. My house has a couple of beds, couches and rugs for your pet to sprawl on. We have a smaller fenced yard where the dogs can use the restroom. I do have a crate if needed.

“Amelia was so great! Louie got comfortable there pretty quickly laying on the couch with with her dog Olive. They were perfect couch potato buddies :) I got photo updates throughout and he got taken on a walk. Louie was very happy!”

“I appreciate the excellent care Suzanne provided for my dog, Cocoa. Suzanne is great at ensuring your dog's safety, providing you with the day's/daycare's plan, and providing updates with pictures. So glad I've found Suzanne to take care of Cocoa! Will re-book Suzanne frequently! :-)”

“Charlie came home happy and calm. Michelle clearly provided him with a great atmosphere and Sunny clearly was a great play mate. He'll be back! Highly recommend Michelle and Sunny.”
“Wonderful, wonderful dog sitter! She was incredibly kind to my dog! Her two dogs were adorable and were great for nervous, first time in someone else’s home dogs (my dog). She took them on frequent walks, communicative about eating, treats, potty, and nap time and sent many pictures. I’d recommend her to anyone with small-medium dogs that need somewhere to go either sitting or boarding. One issue I faced which wasn’t a huge deal, was in the middle of my reservation the rate of sitting increased to almost double the initial rate I paid for. My intial booking was 15/day and I asked for one more day of sitting, and the entire reservation was modified to 25/day. It caught me off guard since it was the middle of the week and I was caught off guard with the new price. The service was worth the new rate, just wanted transparency there.”

Through middle and high school I walked dogs and did home visits/drop-ins for neighbors. I’m working part-time as a climbing coach and substitute teacher. I recently graduated with my master’s! I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule! I live in a house that is two stories. We have a fenced in yard, suitable for a dog. Im in walking distance (5-10 minutes) to two major Portland parks, which both have dog parks.
About: I believe great pet care starts with trust. I'm dependable, reliable, and patient, and I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. I take the time to make pets feel safe and comfortable while giving them the attention and care they deserve. Before pursuing pet sitting, I worked remotely for an international dog rescue, which further strengthened my passion for animal welfare and deepened my understanding of responsible pet care. Being part of an organization dedicated to rescuing and rehoming dogs reinforced my commitment to animal well-being, and strengthened the qualities I bring to pet care — compassion, patience, reliability, and attention to detail. In the past, I volunteered with a local animal rescue where I primarily cared for cats. I currently volunteer with a rescue where I mostly help with dogs, as well as assisting at various fundraising events. I especially love meeting our supporters and their pets at these events. It’s heartwarming to see them enjoying these functions alongside their pets! Volunteering has reinforced my commitment to providing patient, compassionate, and reliable care, and I look forward to giving every pet the same attention and kindness I would want for my own. My schedule is currently very flexible, which means I have plenty of time to give your pup or kitty the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. Whether it's walks, playtime, or simply keeping them company, I'll be there to make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while you're away. From my experience, I believe pets are happiest when they can stick to their normal routine, so I always follow each owner's care instructions closely. Whether I'm caring for your pet in your home or providing drop-in visits, I'll make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, fresh food and water, potty breaks, and lots of affection. I take the time to get to know each pet's unique personality and comfort level, whether they're energetic and playful or prefer a quieter, more relaxed environment. My goal is to help your pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away, and to give you peace of mind knowing they're in reliable, compassionate hands. I'm also happy to provide updates and photos during each visit so you can see how your pet is doing!

Recently moved to Portland and don’t have any pets currently to take up my time. I follow client care instructions to the letter. About: Animals of all kinds have a special place in my heart, whether it's a dog or a cat :) I used to dog-sit for my mom's coworkers when I was in high school, and I've handled solo care for my family's highly active Border Collie/German Shepherd mix for anywhere from a few days to full months at a time. I'm patient, attentive, and genuinely enjoy long walks & active time outdoors, which makes me a solid match for high-energy breeds that need real exercise and structure (also love to just chill and hang out with animals if that's more your pet's speed). Sadly don't have a pet of my own yet, so I would love to give your pet my time and attention while you're away! Hi there! I'm a 25 year-old grad student currently completing a master's program at UO's Portland campus. I'm currently on summer break, so I have ample time to spend with your pet and can be flexible if needed. Come October, I will be unavailable on Wednesday & Thursdays, but I can still provide the same time and flexibility. While I can't currently care for your pet(s) in my own apartment, I am happy to offer walking & sitting services at your home to keep your animal(s) in an environment they are comfortable with. Just let me know what your pet's routine is, and I will do my best to keep it consistent :)
About: As a former National Park Service employee of ten years I’m basically hardwired to love the outdoors and animals, and spending time with animals in the outdoors! I’ve pet sit cats and dogs of all sizes, ages, and abilities for friends, family, and coworkers. Having had both very old and anxious dogs, I’m familiar with the patience, attentiveness, and consistency needed to watch high needs pets and will always adapt my care to guarantee their comfort. As both a college student and an exercise enthusiast, I can fit the care of your pet seamlessly in with my everyday life - be it cuddling on the couch, hanging out in a shared space, throwing a ball, or going for hikes or light runs. When outdoors I always carry extra water and a dog bowl, and am closely tuned in to the needs of your pet to assure they are safe, comfortable, and having a great time. As a full-time college student I have very flexible availability, especially in the early morning, afternoons, and evening. This means I can check in often, and dedicate the best/coolest time of day to walks. As someone who grew up with hyper active and intelligent dogs, I understand that the anxiety that comes with human-pet separation is a two way street. To make sure both you and your pets have peace of mind, I will do my best to gather all necessary information from you about your pets needs, routines, preferences, behaviors, training level (judgement free - training is hard and dogs have a mind of their own), and physical capabilities. I will take notes during our conversation, closely follow all directions, and send you as many pet pics as you need!
About: I am an animal lover through and through. I’ve had pets throughout my entire life including 7 dogs, 3 hamsters, and 5 cats. I have pet sit for friends and family countless times and volunteered at my local Humane Society animal shelter. I also have lots of experience administering medicine to both cats and dogs. I work an event-based job with a very flexible schedule, so I have an abundance of spare time to block out for caring for your pet. I will pay close attention to your pet's likes, dislikes, tendencies, and triggers. I know it can be scary for some pets to be away from their owners, thus I believe being knowledgeable about their behaviors will help me connect with them and give them the best care possible.
About: I work remotely with a flexible schedule and I would love to walk your dogs or stop in for a pop by visit to get them some attention. I have had dogs my whole life, often watch friends' and family members' dogs and have over 10 years of experience with dogs all shapes and sizes. I work remotely and am available to take care of pets throughout the day. First thing in the morning I take pups out for a walk before breakfast and then again during lunch as well as in the evening for a wind down walk. As I am home for work there are many moments for play and going out in the backyard. I have a fenced yard and a dog friendly dog who is obsessed with fetch. We walk often to the park and have a nice fenced backyard to hang out in.

About: I've been around dogs my entire life. Growing up, I had three Black Labs over the years, and today I help care for our German Shepherd, Geo, who gets multiple walks every day and plenty of exercise. I also regularly care for my parents' dog while they're out of town, including feeding, walking, playtime, and administering medications when needed. I understand that every dog has a unique personality and routine, and I take the time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, or just relaxing with company, I'll provide dependable, attentive care as if they were my own. With my evening work schedule and my girlfriend's daytime schedule, someone is almost always home to provide care and attention. This allows us to maintain a consistent routine for feeding, potty breaks, walks, and playtime throughout the day. Our family loves dogs, and the kids are always happy to offer gentle head scratches, belly rubs, and plenty of affection to dogs that enjoy the extra attention. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. We have a securely fenced yard with a doggie door, giving dogs safe access to the outdoors while still being supervised. Our German Shepherd, Geo, is a friendly, well-socialized dog who enjoys meeting new canine friends and already goes on three walks a day, so guest dogs will have plenty of opportunities for exercise. Every dog has different needs, and I'm happy to adapt my care accordingly. Whether your dog is a high-energy breed that loves long walks and active play, or a senior companion who prefers shorter strolls, a quiet environment, and extra TLC, I'll make sure they receive the care, attention, and routine that's right for them.

“A big thanks to Christopher, he made the whole process easy. We were able to relax on vacation knowing he was being cared for through updates and pictures. We definitely recommend him to others!”

“This was our second time booking with Brittany and had another great experience! She sent lots of updates of our guy and always included photos :) Will definitely continue to reach out to Brittany for any future trips where we need a sitter!”

“Madeline is absolutely amazing. I would recommend her to anyone. My pup had so much fun, I was nervous leaving him with anyone, she communicated the entire time. Sent me photos and lets me know how my boy is doing. Will be booking for more than a week next time. House is amazing very well prepared for any dog she takes care of. I was very much at peace while on my vacation knowing my pup is in good hands.”

“Thank you so much for taking care of our cat, Atlas, during the two weeks we were out of the country. We really appreciated your daily updates and the care and attention you gave him throughout his stay. Your cat room was delightful, and it was wonderful to know that Atlas felt so comfortable and happy while we were away. We truly appreciate everything you did for him and would absolutely use your cat boarding services again. Thank you for taking such great care of our little guy!”

“Luna loved staying over! I recieved lots of pictures and updates throughout her time with Dahlia! They were super communicative and understanding when my flight was delayed!”

“My experience with Suzanne’s pet-sitting service was an excellent one. I was impressed by her immediate response to every message I sent (within minutes). I was also impressed when Suzanne offered to pick up and drop off my dog (a 30 minute commute each way) in order to save me time. She was honest about what she had to offer and the demeanor of her animals. She followed my instructions explicitly. She provided relevant feedback and updates daily and often added photos of my dog to her messages. I will continue to use her service in the future.”

“We love Debbie!! She is always dependable and takes great care of our dog. She also was so communicative and flexible when travel threw us curve balls and made sure we were able to reconnect with our dog after a long day.”

“Moira is absolutely amazing—my dog Teddy compeltely ADORED her! She has a natural gift with dogs and made my anxious pup feel totally at ease (which is no small feat). She’s also a CHAMPION communicator, sending quick replies and the cutest updates that kept me smiling. Bonus: she’s not only affordable, but super flexible too, which made everything so easy. I swear my dog didn’t want to come back home… and honestly, I don’t blame him! Highly recommend 🐾✨”

“Zack was amazing! Watched Watson from Sat-Tuesday and kept him happy, safe, and well cared for. This was my first time using Rover and I'm glad we found a reliable sitter on the first try. I definitely recommend him!”
