About: I really enjoy taking care of cats when given the opportunity. I like to visit at least twice a day to build trust with every cat and keep them company while their human is away. I scoop their litter and feed them on a regular schedule as instructed and carefully watch their outside play-time if they are allowed. I started pet sitting for my neighbors when I was a kid and have spent most of my life helping out my friends and family with their pets. I am a huge animal lover and also very active! I often pet sit for my friends and love to take their dogs on walks and runs. I live in Albany with my cat, Bill, and work from home a lot so I have lots of availability and would love some more dog time in my life! I work from home four days a week (wednesday’s i am in office) so i have a lot of availability to spend time with your dog! I am also an active runner and walker, so I can get your pup outside and get out energy if that’s what they need, or we can cuddle up inside and play or hang out :) I live in a spacious two-bedroom apartment with lots of grassy areas and walking paths around. I do have a cat, he gets along well with dogs, but your pup would need to be okay with cats! I have a very gentle approach to dogs and respecting their boundaries is so important to me. Depending on what you prefer for your dog, they are free to roam my apartment and be on furniture, unless you prefer them not to be! I have some experience training so if you’re in the middle of building habits, i will adhere to those practices :)

About: I worked at a pet boarding facility for a 7 years before I moved. I am a fast learner and choose to have the pet accept me before moving on to anything else. I shadowed groomers and vets to be sure the road I was taking would assure me happiness with animals and still plenty of time with my own animals. Working with the boarding facility I learned pets are different without there parents and can act differently around them so learning their likes and dislikes personally is a must for me. About: I’ve had dogs since I was a child. I’ve played fetch with them, trimmed their nails, and given them baths. I also have experience administering oral medication to dogs. I have a cat and bunny 🐰 that have stolen my heart ❤️. Cats, especially, want to sit in my lap or lay on me. My friends and family choose me because I am responsible, so they know their pet will be well taken care of. I am a teacher, so I have time in the summer when many are away on vacation. During the week, I have some long lunch breaks that allow me to come check on pets. I am unable to provide constant care during housesittings. I can only provide care for animals that can be left alone for a minimim of 2 hours. At your home, I’ll follow your directions precisely to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible because stability is key. Either way, they’ll be played with, talked to, well-fed, and cuddled. I am dog & cat first aid/CPR certified with the American Red Cross.

Before every booking, I take time to learn their normal schedule, favorite activities, medications, feeding routine, and anything else that helps them feel comfortable while you're away. I'm especially patient with shy or nervous pets and understand that some animals need a little extra time to warm up to someone new. I never rush interactions and always let pets build trust at their own pace. During walks and visits, I'm careful about securely attaching leashes before opening doors, checking gates, and paying close attention to my surroundings. In your home, I'll treat your space with the same respect I'd want someone to show mine, following your instructions carefully and making sure everything is secure before I leave. You'll also receive regular updates and plenty of photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.

About: I’ve taken care of animals of all kinds for years. I’m able to walk, bathe, and snuggle your pets . I will give them all the love while you’re away. I am a homemaker with free availability, I am usually home meal prepping or tending to the garden. I am flexible with schedules and routines to fit your needs.
