“Dave and Daniel were wonderful with our Pomeranian Skyla. She’s animated and spirited, some might say a strong personality. She often, perhaps too often, wants her own way, but apparently Dave and Daniel were able to deal with this, and all parties seemed to have a great experience. What we do know for sure is that our little girl came home healthy and happy. What more can you ask for? We couldn’t be more pleased. We will definitely be bringing her back to her home away from home.”

“Zuri is a wonderfully attentive sitter who provides loving, personalized care for my orange tabby. Each visit feels special, and this time was no exception—Zuri and Enoch even created a beautiful painting together! Their creativity and warmth make every experience memorable.”

“this is a very caring lady. She took care of her two dogs as if they were her own. She cared for them,. She baths and she washed their beds sent us pictures of them almost daily while we are out of the country for eight days. I would highly recommend this Rover Jewlz”

“Danielle really came through for me at the last minute, I'm so grateful! She was very kind and attentive with my dog, Esther, sending adorable pics and updates. Esther is an anxious girl, but she seemed to relax in Danielle's home, it really put me at ease. Thank you again!”

“Jordan is seriously a dog whisperer. His energy and confidence is God send. My dog Cedar can be reactive, barking, jumping, even nipping when meeting people but with Jordan, it was like a completely different dog. Calm, relaxed, and instantly comfortable. I was in total shock. Even around another dog (which normally worries me), Cedar was in dog heaven. No issues at all. I went in nervous and left totally at ease. THANK YOU Jordan for making my vacation that much better. If you’ve got a challenging dog, Jordan is your guy, Just go with Jordan.”

“Christina is communicative, flexible, and caring. Our dog was feeling a bit nervous in a new environment and Christina did her best to support our dog while we were away. When we picked up our dog she was happy and healthy! Thank you, Christina!”

“Gayle is great. Her whole setup (house, yard, other pet guest, her own dog) works perfectly for my dog. It’s more like he is on his own vacation than just being boarded. Would absolutely use her again.”

“My dog was very difficult for Tania, but she went above and beyond and never made me feel at fault. She's incredible. No one in the world could've handled the situation better. I'm so very grateful.”

“My boys (older doodle and younger dachshund mix) were excited to meet Larissa and I was grateful to see that they settled in quickly. They stayed for 2 days and now I know I have somewhere that they will be safe and taken care of when I’ve got to be away. I received updates that included both pictures and actual descriptions of how things were going with them. If you are looking for a safe, loving, family experience for your fur baby, Larissa is my number one recommendation!”

“Joe is great with our doggos! Lets them sleep on his bed, takes them for walks, and he’s careful with giving them their medications on schedule. They had a very nice time with Joe, and we will book with him again.”

“I couldn't be more pleased with the care Stephanie and Spencer provided for our four kitties. Not even flooding and atmospheric rivers kept them from their scheduled visits. And the pics they took helped dissipate the anxiety of being away from our furry family. And returning to our home just as we left it was a wonderful finish to our vacation. I'd hire their services again in a heart beat and without reservation. I can't thank them enough!”

“We so appreciate Emily and her care of our cats and home. She was communicative and very flexible when we had to adjust dates last minute. Will be requesting Emily’s services again in the near future!”

“Could not be happier with Fiona and the job she did! My girls loved her and they can be hard to win over. She was such a good communicator and sent so many pictures and videos which helped ease my mind while I was gone. I would not hesitate to book her in the future!”

“My'chaela was booked last minute to care for our 15 yo cat, and did a wonderful job, stopping by twice a day to feed & medicate. We booked her again in a few weeks. We have found a good, reliable pet sitter and are looking forward to having My'Chaela provide that care”

“This was my time using Rover and David made it a great experience. He came by to meet Isabelle and see the job to make sure we were both comfortable. He answered some questions about how Rover works. I was mid-flight when he arrived and he reached out to me to let me know how Isabelle was doing. And he was very prompt in responding when I asked for updates.”

“What a relief to have someone like Molly to care for our kitties ! She’s very dependable , trustworthy and truly loves what she does. We loved the daily pictures of our cat! We will continue to use her services in the future.”

About: I love the way that cats are they're very unpredictable One minute they're all happy and praying the next minute they're jumping on top of your head, I like that about cats I love to play with them too they're so fun. I got my first cat when I was 6 years old her name was precious I'll never forget her it was the best day of my life I think all animals including cats are precious.

About: I own a husky mix and have for three years. I regularly bath, brush and walk him. I’m very patient with animals. I enjoy being around dogs because they’re super smart and definitely steal your heart. Dogs are more than a mans best friend, they’re family. As I begin in the dog care world I would like to be full time and help families by providing care for their furry babies. It’s nice to be able to take a vacation or a trip and know that your dog is being well taken care of, allowing you to enjoy time with friends and family. I will frequently send pictures and updates so you can see how everything is going and and feel included. I have self-taught myself how to trim and file dogs nails and how to brush excess fur, to prevent matted and tangled coats. I also enjoy bathing them. I know pet care can add up and be expensive so I’m willing to negotiate rates depending on the distance I have to drive and the number of services your needing. Feel free to ask any questions because I’m here to help you!

“We were nervous to leave our cat with someone else for the first time, then we met Zuri we felt confident that Margot would do just fine! Drop off went great. The communication was impeccable. She sent us pics and kept us in the loop at all times. She was flexible and understanding with our schedule changing. Zuri is an amazing pet sitter! We were so pleased.”

“We felt very comfortable leaving our cats in Cristy’s care. She has a nice calm demeanor which goes a long way with animals especially kitties . Shes dependable, completed all things necessary , communicated well and spent some quality time with our cats. We will definitely use Cristy in the future.”

“Excellent and trustworthy sitter. Kerri has watched my two cats on 3 different occasions (including over some holidays) and has always done an amazing job taking care of them. Very communicative, reliable, and easy to work with. Would strongly recommend!”

About: My family has always loved boxers, so I have lots of experience with this breed. We've had a few boxers that have ranged in age from the puppy phase to 6 years old (and on-going). Taking walks, facilitating meal-times, and administering medicine are among the many things I was responsible for. My favorite part, though, is bringing out their personality and showing them lots of love and affection. I am currently taking care of family during the week, so I do not have pets in my home that require consistent attention; however, it would be amazing to be able to share some love (and wiggles) with your furry companion in between family obligations or on the weekends! Most of my services will involve making sure your furry friend has been on a healthy walk and had their medicine if required. I'd love to work more on training in the future, but for now, checking in and feeding will do. I can't wait to get to know you and see what I can do to make your life (and your furry friend's life) smoother.

About: I have grown up around cats and took care of my grandmas senior cat in her last days. Her cat Tasha was blind and deaf, so I helped her find her food and litter box and gave her plenty of cuddles so she wouldn’t feel lonely. I can clean litter boxes, feed, and play with your kitties!
“Ariya was very attentive and caring. She has lots of experience working with dogs at her job and asked good questions about Milo’s needs. Milo was stressed out because I hardly ever leave him, but Ariya handled him well.”

“Amazing experience!!! This was the first time we had ever used Rover or had a dog sitter, so I was a bit worried. Remo is a 4 month old puppy and very mischievous. Zuri sent texts, photos and videos, so I could see what a great time Remo was having at her home. I would definitely book again with Zuri and totally have piece of mind that Remo is in good hands.”

“Wendy is awesome! She took amazing care of Norman while our family was gone. It was his first stay and she made him feel so comfortable and well taken care of. Plus during his stay, he got to have fun playtimes with other dogs as well! Wendy is very friendly and easy to work with. She was also great with photos/communication during Norman's visit.”

“Kyra has been so wonderful to work with training our 1 year old! I can tell she genuinely cares about his development and well being. She is very responsive and flexible. We look forward to continuing having her and her pups be a part of our dog’s life.”

About: I’ve owned cats all my life, and a few dogs. I have experience volunteering at a local animal shelter, working with both cats and dogs when I was younger . I have a 4H background as well. We adopted our dog Frida 2 years ago. I’m a stay at home, homeschooling mom with a flexible schedule. We are home often and already own a dog. It's not much more work to add one or two into the mix. My kids love dogs and enjoy meeting new ones. We all love that owning dogs helps us to be outside more, either playing with the dogs or taking them on walks. My three children adore dogs and cats, and will give lots of love and attention. We live near parks and have a great neighborhood for walks. Dogs are allowed to free range of the house and fenced yard. They are allowed on the couches.
About: I am a lifelong dog owner. Every day, rain, sun, or snow, they go to the dog park for at least 90 minutes. If you frequent our local dog parks, we've probably met. Considering I'm a 6'8" long haired and bearded man who basically lives in tye dye shirts, I'm easy to remember. My two dogs, Moxee and Myrtle, are well socialized and trained. Myrtle loves to run and play, Moxee likes to sniff everything and chase a ball some. They are a great pair to accompany for dog park trips. I have trained my own dogs for many years. Moxee's and Myrtle's off leash skills alone impress just about everyone, and I spend a good amount of my time at the dog park helping people learn how to work with their dogs. I am firmly opposed to physical punishment or using fear-based approaches, preferring to take a more proactive approach. Dogs want to please their people, and with patience they will follow your lead. You just have to meet them at their level and understand their development in training takes time. The dog park, although I am careful for such risks as not allowing them near the gate when other dogs are entering, is where they have the freedom to just be dogs. I am a full time remote college student, and outside of moments like exams I have a fairly open availability. I will be doing 1-3 dog forty five minute dog park trips a day, and can take one or two dogs. There is an increased cost for two dogs. I already spend at least an hour and half a day at the dog park for my two dogs, this will be just be a transition to more broken up trips and less long trips. My dogs, and other dogs, have the run of our home. There are multiple dog beds, the furniture is free game, and they have a small backyard to run in some. Dog sitting is not something I take on unless the animal is already established with my group. I will be home twenty four hours a day if there is another animal staying with us. At the dog park, I bring a Chuck It with multiple balls, a flirt stick (amazing toy), water, and a whistle. I keep any dogs with me away from the gate when other dogs are entering or exiting (including my own); as it is a proven factor leading to the majority of dog park fights. Moxee and Myrtle are trained to sit next to us when a new dog arrives until they are released. As I've been frequenting our local dog parks nearly daily for years, I know the majority of the regulars who frequent them as well. Myself and a few others play a pivotal role in keeping the Independence Dog Park clean.

“Danielle was wonderful with our shy, anxious rescue. She communicated well and asked plenty of great questions, was kind and patient, and has a calm demeanor. We weren't able to do a meet and greet in advance since I was traveling through, which made it even more impressive that my pup warmed up to her right away and relaxed so quickly. Responsible, professional service. Highly recommend!”

I pride myself on being reliable , patient, and attentive to each animals unique needs. I have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I do have my own animals to take care of but times are very flexible and able to be moved around. I have 3 friendly dogs that could keep your dog company or I can crate your animal as needed. I have a multiple acre 5 foot non-climb horse fenced area for animals to run and play. I unfortunately do not have a fenced in area directly off of my house but can create an area as needed for smaller animals with portable fencing.

“Best day ever . Shes a great sitter and he had so much fun . He's only four months old 70 lbs, never been around other dogs and she was able to get him acquainted and He made new friends, and she was definitely capable of handling a new excited Dog, meeting other dogs. If I ever come up here again, I will be using her every time.”

“She was so kind and communicated so well. Even took me the night before and sent pictures during the day. I intend to have my sweet kitties with her from now on so long as she’s available. 🤍”

About: I've been working with animals in vet clinics and shelters all over the country for most of my life. I'm very dedicated to my work with animals and take pride in the quality care and attention I give my clients. About: Know what it's like to own dogs since childhood. Tell me what they love, like, and hate. Love to bring gifts for the dog(s) anytime. Also been a great house sitter and pet sitter for my mother in the past when she visited grandkids for a week in California. As far in advance as possible since I also do crowd management seasonally but haven't worked since April 1st. P.S. A page from the daily calendar for Life Hacks encouraged me to join and I do know someone on Rover.com named Stephen. He's a dog sitter, owner, and trainer. I live in a condo on the ground level with a patio and a view of Mill Creek. I'd prefer to house and/or pet watch at your place.

“Our dog Penny enjoyed daycare with Diana and her pups, and Diana did an extraordinary job making Penny (and me by extension!) feel comfortable. Penny can be anxious and slow to warm up, which Diana handled with such care. She is a true pro and genuine dog lover. We trust her completely with our girl.”

About: I attended an agriculture-based school from 6th grade until 12th grade, where I was taught veterinary skills, so I have all kinds of knowledge on pets, big or small! I am able to administer meds, monitor for illnesses and issues, and provide support for any needs. I will upkeep your desired training and commands for pets, because consistency is key. I always look forward to meeting new furry friends, and I look forward to forming bonds and trust with pets and customers both. I work part time on my own schedule, so I am available anytime. I have a preference for late night, early mornings, and overnight. I am flexible with my availability and can usually work something out based on customer’s schedules. I am diagnosed with a few physical disabilities, so it is always good for me to exercise and get out of the house. I have experience with allergy needs and always pay attention to details. Safety starts with following directions, and I will do everything that is requested of me. I will treat your pet as I would treat my own and give them top-tier care. I will never hesitate to ask questions for the safety of your pet, if I am unsure of something.

“Stephanie was wonderful at accommodating a last minute request for a walk. I could tell that my dog was so much happier and relaxed once back at the house. Also appreciated her suggestions for my anxious pup as well! Thank you!!!”

“For several months David has been stopping by my West Salem residence practically every weekend to walk my small dog. I really appreciate his consistent communication with me. He has been patient with my dog as it took awhile for him to warm up to David. I would recommend David to anyone needing a pet care. .”

About: I have taken care of my family’s pets as well as friends and neighbors pets for most of my life because of how much I love animals. I worked in a pet grooming salon for a few years and besides leaning the skills of grooming pets, I also learned to treat their owners with the same amount of care. I am a college student heading into my summer vacation, and would love to spend more time with some furry friends. I am available any day and time of the week. I love dogs of all shapes, sizes, and ages. I always have doggy treats on me in case I meet a friendly pup and I love playing with toys or just cuddling if that is what they enjoy. I have two dogs at home, both are small, one enjoys cuddling and never plays with toys, and the other loves cuddling, but would much rather chase toys that I throw for him.
About: I have taken care dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. I am patient and engage with each pet at their speed. Building trust and respect are my top values when caring for pets. My family of pets are trained either to alert me to go potty, use a box or crate themselves. I am able to give medication as needed and bathe if needed. My children are PET TRAINED. I have very strict rules in place about all animals big or small. I really hope you consider us in your upcoming needs. Happy New Year! I have 4 children, all pet trained and pet friendly. I do not have a large or fenced yard BUT I have an absolutely amazing park that abuts to my house so there is plenty of opportunity to run and play. I am at home all day for the entire week so I am able to keep a good schedule for my fury clients. I don’t have a problem with med or potty schedules. I listen to their needs. I watch for cues to hunger or need to potty. I feed and walk my pets or clients pets. When they need bathed I handle that as well. Medications in my house are no problem at all as over the years I’ve learned a lot about injectable and oral medications. I’m not the master for certain but I try my best to be your pets next best friend while I am with them.

“10/10 Daniel is awesome! It’s obvious that he genuinely cares for animals and wants to make them happy and feel comfortable. It was really nice knowing our dog Teton was in good hands while we were at work.”

I am currently in school and working part-time, so I will have plenty of time throughout the day to help care for your pets. My schedule is pretty flexible! I can walk, feed, and play with your pet! I am diligent about letting dogs go out to the bathroom and about cleaning cats litter boxes. I would be able to watch over your house and even water plants if needed! I am highly reliable and care a lot about keeping your pets safe.
“Chawnie has been a fantastic pet walker for us! She's super responsive and always on time, which makes everything so easy. Our shy pup warmed up to her faster than I ever expected, and that says a lot! She really listens to what I’ve shared about their personalities and needs, and it shows in how she interacts with them. We’ve been really happy with everything so far and love having someone we can trust with our furry family members.”

“Isabel is both reliable and flexible - a hard combination to find! We feel very lucky to have found her to walk and care for our dogs. She is thoughtful, and even provided extra time and attention to our dog on his birthday!”

About: I have taken care of almost every breed of dog, from chihuahuas to newfoundlands! Plus, I have a Bachelor’s in animal science (specifically animal behavior). I have two dogs of my own (2 Australian cattle dogs) so I have experience with both puppy and full-grown stages. I’m also available for livestock sitting as well! I am usually available all week! “Connie took lots of pictures and was careful to follow all of my instructions. She took the time to meet our dog ahead of hosting him and was very easy to work with. Very responsive.”

“My dog Benji absolutely loves visiting Ms. Jade and making friends. He’s usually timid and shy around people but warmed up to her fast! We love her and appreciate all she does <3”

“Whitney took great care of our little boy and was patient with him as he can be anxious with new experiences. We got photo updates and she made sure he was well taken care of!”

“Shelby went above and beyond caring for Shadow 🫶 Daily walks, lots of photo updates, and even a thoughtful card and treat at pickup - it meant so much! I could tell he was happy and well cared for the entire time, and will absolutely be booking her again in the future 😊”

“Tracy is a wonderful dog sitter. She is prompt with responses and easy to communicate with. Harlow had a great stay while we were out of town for a family reunion. We would definitely use Tracy again.”

“Karlie was very flexible and easy to plan with. Her house is very dog friendly and her pup, Dresden, is a great playmate! Our dog didn’t care when we left at drop off because she was already having so much fun.”

“Miriam has watched Chowder for over a year now and she has been amazing! Chowder and her have connected so well and it’s clear that he is completely comfortable and happy around her. She is very attentive and sensitive to his needs. Very happy to continue working with her 😊”

“I’ve reviewed Elizabeth before, but I wanted to continue to let everyone know just how wonderful she is with our dog, Bobby Lee. He is not a fan of riding in cars, but once we’re about a block away from Elizabeth’s place, he gets super excited and happy! He loves going to her place, and that really says it all about how Elizabeth treats all pups she takes care of daily.”

“Hailey was wonderful. She and her family took great care of our pup while we were away and updated us frequently with daily activities and photos. From the meet and greet to the pickup it was obvious he was in good hands and got all the love and attention he deserves! She was attentive, kind and respectful, plus her dog was friendly and a great playmate for our dog. Highly recommend Hailey, we hope to board with her again!”

“Kathrine is an AMAZING sitter! I went out of town for 5 days and left my pup with her at her home. I immediately felt comfortable leaving her there when I dropped her off. She sent pics, videos, and updated me on all things (eating, pooping, etc.). Her dog, Ophelia, was the sweetest companion and I could tell her and my dog were besties from the pics she sent! They went on multiple walks a day, and even a weekend adventure! I will definitely be using Kathrine again in the future!”
