She answered my questions and special requests to make sure Izzy was peeing first day. I was able to go visit them as well. Her home is clean and neat. When we arrived to her special room for kitties for drop-off day, it was so welcoming and all set up for two cats. I felt so welcomed. I will have to replicate some of the beds and carpet she has for them, they loved them so much. There is a big, secure catio with kitty door for those cats with indoor-outdoor preferences; it has a whole wooden structure in it for them to climb or be up high or down on the ground. Valerie gave my boys lots of loves and playtime/laptime. Milo "helped" her with paperwork (ahem). She is calm and warm and loving. When I visited, they were so calm. Izzy was hesitant at first, hiding under the bed, but by day 2 he was ready to get rubs and playtime. She even plays soothing kitty t.v./music for them. I 100% recommend Valerie and her set-up. She also invited me for a meet and greet before booking. I am so grateful for Valerie taking care of my cats while I traveled and looked for a rental.”
About: I've raised 2 puppies who spent their whole life with me. I've adopted 1 rescue and 1 senior. They have had health issues (particularly the rescue and senior) so I'm familiar with some of the early and intermediate signs. We are now at a point in our lives where we want to still spend time with dogs, but we aren't looking for the 24/7 commitment. So we would like to host your furry baby for a night or a weekend and give him all the joy of a good friendship without the kennel experience of a dog hotel. We will be taking on pet care Friday thru Sunday. We may be able to support an emergency during the week, but since we both work full time, that would mean I would need to work from home for a day (which is pawsible with notice). However, it would not be our preferred schedule. We want to spend time with your dogs playing and relaxing - not just leaving them in an unfamiliar space while we are at the office. We are looking for day or overnight services on the weekends when we are free and planning to be home. We would expect you to bring enough food and medication to last their expected stay plus 1 day (in case of unforeseen circumstances). Then leave the rest to us. We will give regular bathroom breaks and play times (no yard), much love and pets and be vigilant about your recommended food/medicine. We do not look forward to creating your animal. So we expect at least one of us (husband or wife) to be home at all times and we expect your dog to be housebroken.

About: I have always loved animals! I have grown up with dogs and cats in my house my whole life and cared for them. I have dog sat, taken dogs on walks, volunteered at shelters, etc! I have always loved animals and I am passionate about taking care of them. About: Hi, I am an animal lover and former rescue volunteer & pet sitting professional. Being a long time animal owner (cats, dogs, turtles, hamsters & fish), I understand the importance of having a responsible and dedicated sitter available. In the past I have rescued and boarded different dogs and cats with different needs keeping them on holistic diets and regular baths when needed, I thrive in giving them a loving environment at home (with tons of cuddles). I also have a personal belief on the importance of outdoor activity. I have a lot of experience with medium and larger breeds (Pomeranian, Beagles, Chow Chow, Rottweiler, Sheperds, Labs, & Mixes, etc), and also with senior dogs. I am a doggie parent. I also will send you periodic pictures of your fur baby during their time with me. I do walk in visits for pet parents. I try to work with a flexible schedule, but it depends on the needs of the pet. Some pets preffer 2 visits per day to make sure house is clean and pets are fed. But mostly will preffer the ability to drop in the evenings and early mornings. When I go to clients homes, I first have a meet and greet to determine best fit. I also like to fill out a log for all the dog needs. Some people like to give me a list and I am very happy when they do! I adapt to the need of the pet. For example some cats are shy and take longer to interact. I talk to them and keep them company. Make sure to take out any pet who enjoys a good 20-30 minute walk.

I recently moved to Eugene into this AMAZING home on 1/2 acre that's 100% fully fenced including a driveway gate. I have taken care of dogs for over 20 years. About: I’ve been working with dogs and rescues since I was 14 and have continued to work with rescue and animals of all kinds! I love the energy of working with animals, and am able to work with any needs and any size! About: All my life I’ve been obsessed with dogs 🐶 When I was finishing up nursing school, I needed to find some part time work to help make ends meet. I found a job as a kennel technician at a commercial dog boarding facility - where I mostly cleaned up to 36 dogs daily messes and gave them social enrichment. I quickly jumped up the short ladder of management and took over as CEO right around my first year mark of employment. I have cared for hundreds, possibly a thousand plus dogs in the last half of my entire lifetime. I’ve worked hard to help dogs and owners alike understand eachother better - communication often needs no words. I specialize in “project pups”, socialization and reactivity. I’ve taken care of newborn puppies to teenage obedience school dropouts - through the medically fragile & elderly pooches on palliative care & absolutely everything in between. I’ve worked in a rescue as an adoption coordinator and had the extreme pleasure of helping people and pooches find their forever spaces together. Along with rescuing over a dozen dogs of my own over the years & nursing several back to health from horrific conditions. Dogs are my passion - simple as that. Nothing makes me happier than helping a dog & owner relationship thrive. I am a stay at home mom, my boys are 2 & 3 years old. They’ve been raised around dogs & already have learned a healthy respect for their space. I am hyper vigilant & always err on the extreme side of caution for everyone’s safety - especially when it comes to those tricky resources. Other than weekly appointments on Mondays - we have a very flexible and open schedule. Our yard is fully fenced with 6 foot - reinforced wood fencing. Gates are double locked to keep toddlers from opening them - dogs too. I have a 10 year old spayed female border collie that I picked from her litter at 3 weeks old. She’s my right hand gal and socially bulletproof when it comes to hanging out with her furry friends. I often used her as the “Ice Breaker” dog when I ran the boarding facility - meaning she did all the temperament testing for any newly boarded dogs we were socially unsure about. We have multiple baby gates, and crate option for separation of space. A dog door built into our back door leading into our fully fenced, toddlerized but maintained, grassy residential yard on a quarter acre. We live in a very quiet tiny town on an even quieter little street, perfect for safely regulated walks and training opportunities.

About: I have spent my life as a pet owner and I like to treat everyone's animals the way I would like mine to be treated. I have, at one time or another, owned dogs, cats, birds, fish, turtles, rabbits, snakes, rats, goats, horses, and chickens and am comfortable caring for many more. I know this site is mostly limited to dog and cat care, but I'm happy to pet sit anything. I am happy to care for pets either in my home or in yours and I'm very flexible regarding my schedule. Every day I care for my own household animals, and I'm more than capable of taking care of plenty more. My animals include 3 dogs of varying sizes, two cats, a parrot, and an aquatic turtle. Though I have plenty of experience with other animals as well. I'm happy to either host animals in my home or venture to pets in their own homes. I believe that my job in caring for a person's pets is to adhere to their wishes for their pets. I want to follow the expectations set for any individual animal. I love to lavish animals with love and affection, but that isn't the right approach for every animal and I need to respect the wishes of their humans within the scope of safety.

My schedule is currently very open and I am looking to add caring for animals more into my life as it is something I really genuinely enjoy so I’m available for last minute or prepared ahead of time plans I have a fenced in backyard, with access to a doggie door.
