“Denise was great with my cockapoo! I left him with her while I was on an extended vacation. He was taken for walks daily, nurtured with love and fed well. His diet even improved under her care. Her place is located adjacent to Delta Ponds so she is fortunate to have some wildlife come by to visit outside her back slider door. Dexter was able to see a Squirell, Blue Jay and other birds. His walks to the ponds kept him engaged and happy. He was also socialized with other dogs that she sits. All in all he came back as a better dog and was very happy to spend time with her. He had no separation anxiety at all and was very content. I received daily photos of him and was updated about how he was doing regularly. I would recommend Denise to any one looking for a sitter. Her rates are great as well.”

“Destiny was flexible and accommodating to my schedule. I liked the perodic update photos of Snowball eating, relaxing, going on walks, and playing with her dog Max. Her home is very dog friendly and I would definitely rebook.”

“Prince had a great time with Joel & Crystal H. They made it all happen super easy and they were very sweet. We're going to utilize these angels everytime we come to Eugen Oregon. ❤️ 💙 💜 💖 💗”

“Outstanding! We loved how Claire gave us daily updates and sent pictures of our pup's activities and walks. We felt very comfortable and happy with the support and TLC that Claire gave to our pup during his stay with her.”

“I’m so glad we found Maddy! She assured me that my precious old gal was fully integrated into their family throughout the stay. I very much look forward to using Maddy again.”

“Dylan and his fam were great! Oakley came home happy and relaxed. We felt she was well cared for and we received frequent pics and updates on doggy activities.”

“Amanda and Matthew did a wonderful job taking care of our dog pepper. We got picture and video updates everyday they had puzzles for her . My feeling is they understand animals because they own so many. This is a quality that I look for in any rover provider somebody who understands animals. She wasn't left alone for 8 hrs a day or crated. And they welcomed our dogs as if she was their own.”

“Thanks to Wilna and her husband for taking good care of my girl. I was nervous to leave her because I had adopted her just three months ago, but a family emergency made it necessary. The photos and updates I received reassured me that she was doing well. She came home happy.”

“Journey was an excellent choice for my sweet Lily. Lily is a soulful pup and takes her time to warm up to strangers and seeing her thrive under Journeys care was wonderful too see!”

“Briar had another fantastic visit at Tracy’s house while we were out of town for the weekend. Just like before, our pup came home happy, tired, and was very well taken care of! Thank you so much for being so kind and dependable!!”

“Shay was great to work with! Dennis had a great weekend and I got regular updates and pictures on how he was doing! Would definitely use her again in the future. Thanks for taking such great care of our Dennis:)”

“Catrina and her partner did an excellent job with my 6 month old kitten, Mango. It was a his first time with a sitter and they adjusted to help him feel comfortable throughout the weekend. I would highly recommend.”

“Angeline was amazing! She sent pictures and kept us updated with how our dog Bambi was doing. She cleaned all our stuff we packed for her too: blankets, bowls, etc. She has a really nice space and backyard, and Bambi had so much fun!”

“Erika is incredible. She will care for your dog as if she were her own. My dog, Ziggy, loves her and enjoys being with her. Erika is responsible, reliable, and very caring. Erika is truly a wonderful person and a great dog sitter.”
“Diane was so amazing and understanding. I would definitely bring Maggie back whenever I am flying out of Eugene :) Thank you for your understanding Diane! so glad we did the meet and greet.”

“Our dog had a great stay with Julie during the World Championship track meet. He is an active, older border collie who needs a little extra attention, and Julie was very sensitive to his needs and quirks! She kept him busy and happy, and kept us updated with nice photos everyday. We could see that Julie is kind and gentle with animals, and very knowledgeable about dogs and their various personalities. We highly recommend her, and if we are back in the Eugene area, will happily have her care for our dog again. Thank you Julie!”

About: I am the local cat befriender, crazy cats are fun to play with, aura cats are great to chill with and sassy cats will match my diva energy. All in all, I love how different cats are and taking care of them is great! The wild cats in the neighborhood, my neighbors down the street or even your best friend at home will always feel secure in their cattivities!k
“It was my first time leaving my 2 cats. Cats were fed separately, played with and taken care of. When I came home the house was in as good as shape as when I left it. Instructions were followed (and I had lots of instructions!). My cats were both clearly very happy. Jill was responsive and communicative of both good news and problems. Jill was really flexible: we were able to come to an arrangement that didn't fit nicely into the Rover app's scheduling. I would trust Jill to take care of my cats again, and I would recommend her to others as well.”

About: I was raised in a dog and cat household and loved taking care of them. For the brief time in my adulthood that I did not have a pet, I would dog/cat sit for a various families often. I am fond of elderly dogs/cats and have taken care a few (including giving medications, shots, cooking specific diets, etc). I am also comfortable feeding farm animals such as horses and mules. I work full-time from my home allowing flexible time to play and care for animals. My outings are usually quick errands around town so my pets get a lot of dog mom time! I am available to do longer stays given that I work remote and love making pets feel safe and comfortable whilst their owners are away. I have a fenced-in yard and 2 friendly dogs (lab and border collie mix) to keep your furry loved one company! I also play music often for myself and for the dogs. I find it helps soothe some anxiety for them as well!

About: Young and old, disabled and moody, I've cared for them all, and have never been without several cats in my life. My Mother used to rescue/trap, spay/neuter, nurse/tame. We have even tamed adult wild cats. It takes lots of time and patience. I've pet sit for many kitties, even for a cat rescue other than ours with over 50 cats. That was incredible! I look forward to meeting your fur baby.
“Alisa went above and beyond to make us feel good about leaving our baby at home for two weeks. She sent us sweet photos and videos of her interacting with our cat Moki. The experience with her made our cross-country vacation worry-free. We couldn't be happier.”

“Andie's first job for us was 15 days housesitting our cat. She did a perfect job and even added fun times for his day. She made sure he ate well and adhered to his dailey schedule. We appreciated coming home to a very well loved kitty and we will have no hesitation at all calling on her again!”

“We needed doggy day care for our two dogs and Joe was wonderful with communication from the start to the end. Send updates and videos. Happy we found someone local to watch our pups. Will be using him for boarding our dogs for few days soon! Thanks!”

“I was nervous like a parent dropping their kid off for the first day of kindergarten. My dog hasn't had much separation from me in her seven years and it was her first time at doggy daycare. She had a blast!!I got a bunch of pictures videos and status reports that made nervous dad feel wonderful. She was worn out and slept with a big contented smile on her face!”

“Claire was patient and kind with our younger rescue dog, Quince, who can get stressed in new environments. Our senior dog, Duncan, seemed to do great. We appreciated the pictures of their day and were happy they were comfortable enough to settle in for a snooze. Their home seemed warm and inviting with plenty of comfy spaces to cuddle up. Claire had some good insight for future visits, and we hope to be able to have our boys in her care in the near future.”

She was wonderful with our dog Ziggy, and she has a beautiful property where dogs can play outside or relax in her home as Ziggy chose to do out of the heat. Erica texted us several times with updates and photos. She communicated well during the whole process. We definitely would recommend her for your doggy care and would use her again without hesitation. Thanks, Erica, for making our day at the Oregon Country Fair so much more enjoyable knowing Ziggy was well taken care of while we were there.!”

About: All my life I’ve been obsessed with dogs 🐶 When I was finishing up nursing school, I needed to find some part time work to help make ends meet. I found a job as a kennel technician at a commercial dog boarding facility - where I mostly cleaned up to 36 dogs daily messes and gave them social enrichment. I quickly jumped up the short ladder of management and took over as CEO right around my first year mark of employment. I have cared for hundreds, possibly a thousand plus dogs in the last half of my entire lifetime. I’ve worked hard to help dogs and owners alike understand eachother better - communication often needs no words. I specialize in “project pups”, socialization and reactivity. I’ve taken care of newborn puppies to teenage obedience school dropouts - through the medically fragile & elderly pooches on palliative care & absolutely everything in between. I’ve worked in a rescue as an adoption coordinator and had the extreme pleasure of helping people and pooches find their forever spaces together. Along with rescuing over a dozen dogs of my own over the years & nursing several back to health from horrific conditions. Dogs are my passion - simple as that. Nothing makes me happier than helping a dog & owner relationship thrive. I am a stay at home mom, my boys are 2 & 3 years old. They’ve been raised around dogs & already have learned a healthy respect for their space. I am hyper vigilant & always err on the extreme side of caution for everyone’s safety - especially when it comes to those tricky resources. Other than weekly appointments on Mondays - we have a very flexible and open schedule. Our yard is fully fenced with 6 foot - reinforced wood fencing. Gates are double locked to keep toddlers from opening them - dogs too. I have a 10 year old spayed female border collie that I picked from her litter at 3 weeks old. She’s my right hand gal and socially bulletproof when it comes to hanging out with her furry friends. I often used her as the “Ice Breaker” dog when I ran the boarding facility - meaning she did all the temperament testing for any newly boarded dogs we were socially unsure about. We have multiple baby gates, and crate option for separation of space. A dog door built into our back door leading into our fully fenced, toddlerized but maintained, grassy residential yard on a quarter acre. We live in a very quiet tiny town on an even quieter little street, perfect for safely regulated walks and training opportunities.

About: I provide reliable, in-home pet care focused on consistency, safety, and following each pet’s established routine. I have years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats with a wide range of temperaments, including rescues, seniors, and high-maintenance pets. I’m comfortable administering medications, adhering to strict care instructions, and maintaining routines so pets feel secure while their owners are away. Pet care is a central part of my weekly routine. I structure my schedule intentionally to allow for dependable drop-ins, walks, and in-home visits, with flexibility to accommodate regular check-ins, travel schedules, and repeat clients. About: • Veterinary student • Fear Free • *pending BLS/ALS RECOVER CPR certification coming 05/16* • • Transparent, reliable, and attentive care backed by extensive clinical experience • I’m Jennifer, a 2nd yr veterinary student at Oregon State University with an interest in small animal medicine and feline-centered care. I have 10+ years of hands-on experience working with (primarily) dogs and cats in both shelter and clinical environments. I began volunteering at the Arizona Humane Society, where I provided daily care and enrichment for incoming and resident animals. I later worked as a veterinary assistant in a small animal general practice clinic for 4–5 years, gaining extensive experience with patient handling, client communication, and medical care in a fast-paced setting, while completing a bachelors in pre-veterinary medicine and a wildlife management certificate. To supplement my extensive academic training, I have pursued Fear Free Certification and Cat Friendly Veterinary Practitioner certification to better understand how to reduce fear, anxiety, and stress in animals in the shelter and clinic environment. I carry those principles into every visit, prioritizing calm, low-stress care tailored to each pet’s individual needs and personality. In addition, I am fully bonded and insured, and I maintain independent professional coverage beyond Rover platform protections. Currently, I am progressing on completing the BLS/ALS CPR certification through the RECOVER Initiative (the evidence-based standard used in veterinary medicine) and I will officially have that achievement met on May 16th! Additionally, I am continuing to expand my Fear Free certification in the coming weeks to include a higher tier of canine/feline care and a broader range of species in general. I am comfortable administering medications through a variety of routes and have experience caring for multiple species, including dogs, cats, and backyard poultry such as chickens and turkeys. While the majority of my experience is within the small animal realm, I have additional experience with a variety of species. Providing these services are an extension of my training and long-term career in veterinary medicine. I strive to provide thoughtful, consistent care so you can feel confident that your pet is in capable hands. One of my goals is to maintain your pet’s routine, while also monitoring for subtle changes in behavior or health while you’re away. I am currently transitioning into a full-time veterinary assistant role in a clinic in Eugene, OR, but I will do my best to accommodate any services in my time outside of the clinic. Thank you for sticking around to learn about me. I’d love to meet your fur kids! I am currently a 2nd year veterinary student that has needed to take a medical deferral for a year. I plan to return to OSU CCVM to finish my doctorate degree, during the Winter 2027 term. During the month of May '26, I expect to be transitioning into a veterinary clinic job in Eugene, OR. I will do my best to accommodate all requests in the meantime and I will be transparent about any scheduling conflicts. I am hoping to spend the next year focusing on my health, continuing my veterinary learning at a pace that suits my current needs, spending time with my cats and my partner, and exploring OR. I will reliably provide updates on the status of your pets and provide immediate reports if I notice anything abnormal or medically concerning during our visit. I am always available to be contacted if there are any concerns during the services or leading up to the services. In my time off from veterinary school, I plan to pursue BLS/ALS RECOVER CPR certification in Portland, OR in mid May. Fingers crossed that I am able to find a class with space but I will update my profile once I have official certification shortly! How cool to have a legit medical professional as a pet/house sitter while you're away! 😎 On top of being an approved Rover sitter/covered by the Rover guarantee, I have additional insurance coverage and am bonded through an external company to simply give myself and your family peace of mind while you're away!
About: I grew up with cats and dogs in my house and I had pet frogs! I previously was a pet sitter for dogs, cats, and sometimes other critters. Afternoon/evening/overnights during the week, or weekends work best for me as I do work. My job is flexible with me being in and out of the office, so with a day notice I could potentially do mornings and mid days. I am very open to respecting what the pet owner ask of me. I will happily send cute pictures throughout the visit! I am comfortable asking clarifying questions.

“Jared took very good care of my Panini. She was very happy to have a walk during the middle of the day. Jared was friendly and responsive. Definitely will use him again for other services.”

I can handle most petcare needs I can care for Pat's most any day of the week especially if I have an advance notice. I'm great for house sitting while people are on vacation here in this area and around the states. I care for the pets in the same manner you would .I obey the rules of the house and have your animals act as if they were you were home with them.
About: I love all critters and have an especially soft place in my heart for the elderly and/or disabled. I started by volunteering for neighbors friends on trips or working 12 hours shifts, just to stay busy, and it was awesome to see how my daily visits helped their overall health over time. Visiting with critters is always the highlight of my day. I move slowly, carefully, speak softly, so my energy is a great fit for older or anxious animals. I love them all, and every step. Greeting, walking, playing, chilling, pets and massage, special diets, and I have no problem helping administer medicine or any extra special care that is needed. It would be an honor to be of service for you and your fur baby :) I am flexible and available, single, no kids, and also a home care worker. I only work 4 hour shifts, so pet care can very easily fit in and around my other work schedule. When I meet you and your pet, you can show me the care routine, and I will confirm that I understand every step. What works well is if the supplies are visible and steps are also written down and left somewhere I can refer to if needed. I will take photos to either text or email you while I am at your home with an update for each visit.
About: I’ve always had a love for animals and believe every pet deserves the same care, attention, and affection they get at home. I have hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats, from energetic puppies who need lots of playtime to older pets who need a gentler touch. I’m active and love going on walks, but I also know how important cuddles, patience, and routines are for pets to feel secure. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playtime, or just keeping your furry friend company, I treat every pet as if they were my own I am a stay at home mom, so I can easily be with your pets all day! I am very active, so I love to take walks and do lots of potty breaks. We have a fenced yard so they can play outside. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. In my home, I make sure the environment is clean, pet-friendly, and free from hazards. I keep a consistent routine with feeding, potty breaks, and playtime so pets feel comfortable and secure. In a client’s home, I always respect their space and follow their instructions closely, from feeding schedules to favorite walking routes, to keep things as familiar as possible for their pet. I also send regular photo and text updates so pet parents have peace of mind knowing their furry loved one is happy and safe.

About: I have had animals in my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve had dogs, cats, birds, rodents, and even reptiles. I am currently training to become a dog groomer and I’m taking classes to get my vet tech certification. I have the experience and knowledge necessary to ensure your pets are safe, comfortable and happy with me. I am currently working part time so I have the availability to care for your animals without anything impeding my ability to keep a close eye on them. My house is a large space with a very large fenced in back yard. I have two dogs that are easy to get along with. I have animal gates I can secure if you’d prefer your pets to be separated from my two small pups. I have 3 bedrooms so I can even dedicate a room to just your animal so they have a private and comfortable space.
About: I have three beautiful cats at home that are super energetic and snuggly! My family had cats while I was in high school and I love being around all animals! Just moved to Eugene from Tennessee and currently have open availability! I’m an early riser so if you need a dog walked in the morning, I’ve got you! I have a car and am willing to walk or bus as well! Our house is plentiful of cat trees, window perches and tunnels! We give them fresh food and water every day and they all get individualized attention! I will do the exact same for your pets!
About: I have excellent references with over 18 years of experience walking, feeding, bathing, and grooming animals. I have worked with animals as young as 4 months old to as old as 18 years old and had to administer medication. I’ve worked with dogs, cats, horses, goats, fish, birds, and cows. I am a teacher so I am available any time during the week to stay over and with breaks I can go and let them out for play and potty time. I’m off work after 3:45 so your pet babies will have lots of attention! I also have summers off (June-August) and can be home with your pets all day! I live in an apartment at this time so I will not be able to keep your animals here, but I am able to come to your home and be there as much or as little as you need me to be! I want what is best for your pet since I know they are part of your family. When you put your trust in me, I take that very seriously and anything you need directions wise will be followed since you know your pet best!

About: I worked as a veterinary technician for over 4 years and have lived with and cared for dogs my whole life. This means if your dog needs special medical home treatment (pills, SQ fluids, insulin injections, etc.) I am comfortable administering these, but I would most likely charge more for special needs pets. I have been pet sitting and dog walking for almost 20 years, but took a break while abroad in the Peace Corps. I have a masters degree in environmental science, and work from home in environmental communication. I love pets and will treat your dog or cat like my own. In my pet sitting career, I have also cared for every type of animal, from hand fed fish to chickens to fat tailed geckos, so if you have more than just dogs and cats, I'm glad to take care of the whole menagerie! I'm looking forward to meeting you and your pets! I work from home and take my own doggo out a bunch! He has episodes of back pain and when he does, we don't walk as much, but when he's feeling good, we walk about 2 miles a day. I'd LOVE for your dog to join us! I have a fenced yard and a super friendly pup of my own that will love to play with yours. I will treat your dog like my own, give them tons of cuddles and reach out to you if anything goes wrong while they're staying with me to make sure I'm caring for them like you would!
