About: I am a vet tech who has over 10 years of experience working with dogs, cats, and exotic pets. I have extensive experience as a veterinary technician in both general practice as well as emergency medicine. I am comfortable with all pets of any age including pets with special needs. I am able to administer oral meds, injections, fluids, and much more. I have worked with animals professionally for all of my working career starting with basic pet sitting/dog walking. After this point I was a groomer for sometime and then made my way up to working at the San Diego zoo as one of the animal ambassador care takers and conservation/wildlife educators where I led tours teach the public about conservation, ecology, and animal welfare welfare. “We had a last-minute opportunity to see our son-in-law perform at The Watershed Festival. We knew it would be a VERY long day and wanted our babies to have more than the occasional visit from our neighbor. Shell responded very quickly to our request. After a meet-greet, we all agreed that it was a good fit for everyone. Shell accommodated our need for a very early drop off and a very late pick up. Her home was quiet and welcoming, ensuring a smooth transition. She took very good care of our babies, even bending her rules a bit about no pets on the couch, so that our oldest one was comfortable and just out of reach of the other energetic pups. About: I will admit that I acquire no previous professional experience, however, I think I can speak for all animal lovers when I say that it doesn't take much when it already comes so natural in the first place. Being around 4 dogs and 2 cats growing up has made it that much more comfortable and easier to sign up for Rover. From tending anxiety attacks and engaging in playful encouragement on zoomie runs, to simple walks and strolls and chill TV sessions, animals have always been the most versed, laid-back companions anyone could ask for. As of right now, I am available Monday, Tuesday, Friday through Sunday. Times varying from morning to late afternoon. Available boarding may range from any of these dates and timeframes, but please feel free to reach out if you need an emergency walk or visit! Baths, walks, scheduled feeding times and play is always within my routine when caring for fur babies. When I had my cats, feeding time was whenever a timer set off and played the New Girl intro. Silly, yes. However, very effective.
About: I have two dogs of my own, one of which has had some serious health issues and food allergies and the other has struggled with reactivity. About: I was a Certified Veterinary Technician For 15+ years but also live on a few acreages on beautiful property on Sauvie Island. We have a Small Pug and a few cats use to dogs but also can be separated if necessary. We have a large country home and acreage for dogs to run or be walked. It is common for the dogs to be inside and outside throughout the day while we do daily activities. My husband works from home too. Moose our pug loves to play with other dogs! My husband works from home and I do some periodically throughout the year. We commonly take morning and evening walks in the local area with dogs on the leash to exercise them and ourselves. Location is about 4 min drive onto Sauvie Island from the bridge. We have a fenced yard but also have fenced in dog runs if need some time alone. Dogs stay in at night time and sleep upstairs or downstairs depending on the dog and comfort with other animals.

About: I've had cats, dogs, fish, and rodents, and would love to share my time with even more beloved pets! I worked at a vet clinic for awhile, so safety will be my number one priority. I currently volunteer with a local cat rescue. I even worked with a wildlife rehabilitation center a few years ago, so no animal would be outside my comfort zone, although I have little experience with reptiles. I work full time during the week, but will have about 45 minutes to devote to your furry friend around midday! I am flexible before and after my job, and am often available during weekend days and holidays. I will not offer boarding services, however, I am happy to schedule my time around your fur baby to ensure that they get the love and care they deserve! I am comfortable caring for (feeding, walking, brushing, etc.) and medicating (with instruction) dogs and cats, if necessary!

“Barry is wonderful! Like many pet owners, we were so nervous leaving our almost 14 year old Callie behind for a few days. However, within our first meet and greet with Barry and Shaka we were comfortable, knowing Callie would be in good hands. Barry sent daily updates and pictures everyday. Allowing us to be more at ease on our trip. Communication was great as he was quick to respond and was very flexible with our drop off time, when we were running behind. Barry has experience with senior dogs, he was kind and understanding with all of Callie’s feeding and meds instructions. We could tell, Callie really enjoyed all the smells in the garden and the calm setting. We can’t say enough, other than we are so glad we found Barry and we would highly recommend him.”

About: I was a Certified Veterinary Technician For 15+ years but also live on a few acreages on beautiful property on Sauvie Island. We have a Small Pug and a few cats use to dogs but also can be separated if necessary. We have a large country home and acreage for dogs to run or be walked. It is common for the dogs to be inside and outside throughout the day while we do daily activities. My husband works from home too. Moose our pug loves to play with other dogs! My husband works from home and I do some periodically throughout the year. We commonly take morning and evening walks in the local area with dogs on the leash to exercise them and ourselves. Location is about 4 min drive onto Sauvie Island from the bridge. We have a fenced yard but also have fenced in dog runs if need some time alone. Dogs stay in at night time and sleep upstairs or downstairs depending on the dog and comfort with other animals.
“Manisha and her family took such good care of Kylo, our 3 and a half months old aussiedoodle that he actually is missing them after returning home after 3 weeks stay. Manisha sent plenty of pictures of Kylo during the entire stay and helped us stay connected to him. Kylo received lots of hugs, kisses and family fun times from Manisha and her family. She is a very thoughtful caretaker and even bought a whole bag of dog food to send home with him after the food we sent with him nearly finished. I would definitely reach out to her again for Kylo and highly recommend her for dog sitting/stay.”
