“Finding the right fit for taking care of my two older chihuahuas was very stressful, until I came across Julie and Barry. Firstly, my huge requirement was that they had no dogs of their own and secondly, that they would only have one client at a time. That is not super easy to find. And not only do they fulfill both of those requirements, but it is two people instead of one, so it's an incredible amount of care and attention that is given to any animal that they might care for. One of my pups has some pretty major anxiety and Julie knew just what to do with her. She turns on her heating pad and cuddles up on the couch with her, and I can tell that they are very loved while there. And though I know my pups don't like being away from me, they very obviously feel safe and comfortable with both Julie and Barry. They also have a wonderful place for the dogs to be when outside. Our pups are going to board with them soon and we feel 100% comfortable with it, and excited that we have found Julie and Barry. Besides taking great care of the pups, they are lovely people and we have enjoyed getting to know them.”

About: I have had dogs since I was 16. Cats since I was 20. I have also owned various other animals, including livestock. My schooling helped me learn general animal care and I have had the same dog trainer for 20 years. Our pets have regular vet care. I pet sit for friends and family often, both at their homes and in our own home. Just informational, I do live with males, including teens, who have attended dog training classes and help when I need to step out if the house. I also have a very large yard for lots of running and exercise. I work fill time, but remote. I can choose to be from home or in office so am available to watch pets at home all day, when needed. We have a large fully fenced yard. We do have chickens, but they are gated in their own area. I have a pet gate to keep dogs from going downstairs unattended and a door as backup. I provide a pet water fountain for constant fresh and flowing hydration. Pets get regular treats and training refreshers to keep their minds sharp and engaged. My house is inundated with both cat and dog toys for constant entertainment.

About: As a lifelong animal lover, I have hands-on experience caring for pets all of kinds. I have a dog and two cats of my own, volunteer at the local shelter, and have fostered many kittens over the years. Working from home allows me to provide flexible and attentive care to your pets. Whether it's walking, bathing, feeding, training, or administering medication, separation anxiety. Your furry friends will be in loving hands with me! I offer FREE meet and greets to see if I would be a good fit for you and your pet(s)! **I don't have any recent reviews as I took a break from Rover to finish school out of town. I would love to get back into pet sitting as I have more free time now! I work remotely so I can be with your pets at all times of the day. If I am house sitting for you, occasionally I will leave for 1-2 hrs to go to the gym or getting something to eat. If your pet has separation anxiety, please let me know and I will stay with them the whole day. My family has always been pet oriented. I grew up with cats and dogs and know how to approach your pet safely if they are feeling shy. I've been walking dogs for 7+ years so you can be rest assured I will always come well equipped with supplies such as poop bags, leash connector (if you have multiple pups) water and a bowl.

Our Tofu spent his best two weeks at their place with lots of walks, treats, and even baths when needed. They asked many questions before hand to get to know Tofu and arranged a visit as well. It was such a relief for us during our international trip where we had no access to text messages and major social media. However, Linda still offered to contact us via WhatsApp in order to send daily updates.”

“I could not have asked for a kinder or more reliable individual to watch my senior dog! Leslie has watched my dog numerous times now, and I won't use anyone else. Leslie has a wonderful single story house with a great flat fenced yard! I had to leave my old pup for a whole week and Leslie spent so much time with him, so much love and many cuddles. My dog really did not want to come home after his vacation with Leslie., he even had more pep to his step. Leslie sent pictures and was very clear with communication. “Overall, had a really great experience leaving my pup with Araceli! I happened to be gone two weekends in a row and I was really grateful to be able to have my dog in the same place. He really enjoyed playing with their dog and in their big yard! The only bummer is that both weekends I asked Araceli to give my puppy a specific supplement after dinner and that didn’t happen, even after I reminded her for the second weekend. She is very sweet and would work with her again!”
