About: I was Blessed with a Tortoiseshell cat for 15 years named Penelope Rose. Pets truly help us through the hardest times of our lives and we help them in return. They do find us, for sure. She was developed cat asthma (rare) and medication was not helping her so I put her down and that was my last pet years ago. I grew up having a grey Siamese cat. Both cats followed me everywhere. Every cat I meet has a unique personality that I love getting to know each and every one. Cats make me feel very calm & relaxed and I feel I have that same effect on them as well. I like the idea of sometime developing a cat toy line because I used to make so many homemade, safe ones when I was growing up. I understand Dogs & Cats and they seem to get me too. I used to foster a 3-legged handi-capable cat and an amazing 1-eyed cat (who is older than 20 years and is now blind). She keeps on going that sweet girl! Shes got a great will to live. About: I have had dogs since I was 16. Cats since I was 20. I have also owned various other animals, including livestock. My schooling helped me learn general animal care and I have had the same dog trainer for 20 years. Our pets have regular vet care. I pet sit for friends and family often, both at their homes and in our own home. Just informational, I do live with males, including teens, who have attended dog training classes and help when I need to step out if the house. I also have a very large yard for lots of running and exercise. I work fill time, but remote. I can choose to be from home or in office so am available to watch pets at home all day, when needed. We have a large fully fenced yard. We do have chickens, but they are gated in their own area. I have a pet gate to keep dogs from going downstairs unattended and a door as backup. I provide a pet water fountain for constant fresh and flowing hydration. Pets get regular treats and training refreshers to keep their minds sharp and engaged. About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I’ve had family dogs growing up and had a dog of my own in my early twenties, so caring for them has always been a part of my life. Around 2020, friends and coworkers started asking me to house sit while they traveled, and that’s when I realized how much I genuinely enjoy caring for other people’s homes and especially thier pets. About: I've been caring for dogs ever since I was young and we got our first family dog. My parents had us rotate pet chores including feeding, bathing, walking, picking up poop, etc; I've done it all! I've dog sat many times for family and friends and I love all different breeds and ages. I LOVE going for walks! Last minute? No problem, I'm very flexible during the weekdays! I'm available weekdays for dog sitting/ walking/ drop ins! Some availability on weekends as well, we can work something out! Very flexible, & open for last minute bookings! I cannot board pets at this moment, I am only available for dog sitting in clients homes. I'm very respectful of clients' homes and good at following the at home pet procedures that are unique to each pet. I'm very clean, organized, responsible, respectful, and considerate.
