“We had such an amazing first Rover experience with Britney and truly could not have asked for a better person to care for our two female German Shepherds. From the very beginning, she was incredibly friendly, responsive, and communicative, which immediately helped ease a lot of the anxiety that comes with leaving your dogs with someone new. She kept us updated daily with pictures and videos of our girls playing, being goofy, relaxing, and genuinely looking comfortable and happy in her home. Those updates meant so much to us and gave us real peace of mind while we were away. Britney was also very upfront and honest with any questions or observations regarding the dogs and was always open to suggestions that could help them settle in more comfortably. One of the biggest things we appreciated was her experience with German Shepherds. You can absolutely tell she understands the breed and their personalities, energy levels, and needs since she previously owned one herself. She had toys available, a great environment for them, and also boarded only our girls without other dogs during their stay, which made us feel even more comfortable and helped reduce stress for them. She also gave us thoughtful feedback, training tips, and helpful suggestions that we genuinely appreciated as first-time Rover users and German Shepherd owners still learning along the way. About: I got to know cats when I got my emotional support cat four years ago. Azumi was shy, sweet, and curious, and really the best cat I could've asked for. I loved getting to know her, a super-timid cat with a hard start to life. I have become a passionate lover of all cats and truly enjoy getting to know them. Before losing him in the fall of 2023, I raised and cared for my dog, Chaps, for 12 years. It was a great 12 years, and I loved spending time training him. We work from home and have two pups, Emilio Estevez and Bruce Willis. We enjoy having pups around our home and love watching them run around in the yard. 🐶 When staying with us, your pup(s) will interact with every member of our family; as well as a pup or two from other households. They will get lots of cuddles, playtime and downtime as needed. During the day, pup(s) are free to roam around and lounge anywhere downstairs, including the furniture. They also have unrestricted access to our large fenced backyard. At night time, pup(s) will sleep downstairs with our pups in their own crate or playpen. We have plenty of toys and always happy to play fetch or take them on walks around the neighborhood.

One of my dogs is 85 pounds, and the other is 15, so I'm used to the pulling and excitement! You can trust me to provide the best care to your fur babies! About: I have been an animal lover since a young age, and have been caring for dogs since 2011. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, and all ages in between. I have experience in training my own dogs and in practicing commands as asked when puppy-sitting. I've even trained my cat to give high-fives! I also have experience in administering medication, both oral meds as well as eyedrops. Our 14 year old labradoodle gets eyedrops twice daily, which I administer. I bond easily with animals and love dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes! I love getting to know animals, and have a knack for bonding with anxious, shy animals. I am also okay with brushing and bathing, etc., as asked if needed. I am typically available all day on the weekends and most Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am in grad school for the next two years in Forest Grove and classes occur around 9am-4pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I may have time for quick home visits for potty breaks during lunch on these days, if needed. I am happy to spend quiet time with pets who are more mellow, or to spend time playing or walking with energetic, younger dogs if that suits them best. I typically observe the dog's behavior and notes from the owner when deciding what to do- are they looking tired and calm? Are they a bit riled up and could use a playtime or a walk? I will follow any instructions left by the owners, as well. If there is anything specific or special you'd like me to do for your pets, just let me know!

When pet sitting, I follow the instructions given by the owner regarding when to feed, how much food, how often they need to go outside. Beyond that, I typically tidy up the space every evening, sweeping/vacuuming, refreshing waters, etc. I try to develop a routine so that the animals know what to expect and can relax into a sense of order. I generally find ways that each animal likes to play and find games that are fun and rewarding.
About: I’ve always been a dog girl & for as long as i remember there has always been a dog in my house; truly the best feeling the relationship you can build with dogs. I am able to check in or even stay over night whenever , my schedule is pretty open with online school and only working friday nights and saturday nights from 4-9, besides that i can make time. I have a pretty big spacious house and a back yard that’s not closed all the way off with a fence but a pretty good open area , i will always make sure your pets feel loved and well taken care of.

“We had such an amazing first Rover experience with Britney and truly could not have asked for a better person to care for our two female German Shepherds. From the very beginning, she was incredibly friendly, responsive, and communicative, which immediately helped ease a lot of the anxiety that comes with leaving your dogs with someone new. She kept us updated daily with pictures and videos of our girls playing, being goofy, relaxing, and genuinely looking comfortable and happy in her home. Those updates meant so much to us and gave us real peace of mind while we were away. Britney was also very upfront and honest with any questions or observations regarding the dogs and was always open to suggestions that could help them settle in more comfortably. One of the biggest things we appreciated was her experience with German Shepherds. You can absolutely tell she understands the breed and their personalities, energy levels, and needs since she previously owned one herself. She had toys available, a great environment for them, and also boarded only our girls without other dogs during their stay, which made us feel even more comfortable and helped reduce stress for them. She also gave us thoughtful feedback, training tips, and helpful suggestions that we genuinely appreciated as first-time Rover users and German Shepherd owners still learning along the way.
