About: I have been responsible for dogs ever since I was 10. I have raised four different dogs from when they were puppies to elderly. I can speak their language and an act as an expert dog body language interpreter. I am gentle enough to handle small dogs and strong enough to handle 100+ lbs ones, as well. I recently took early retirement and have flexibility to take care of your pets, whenever needed, on walks, play dates, or overnight stays at my house with my dog. I love dogs! I grew up with Old English Sheepdogs and have had two as an adult. I'm a believer in routine and consistency. About: I love animals and currently have one 40lb pit terrier mix. My family is easy going on pet rules and treat animals as members of the family (no feeding from the table). We live in a pet friendly community with good lighting and many dog potty break stops and stations. Our house is 2 stories with space to put a crate in a secluded place for dogs who need quiet time. On weekends I would love to take them to dog parks (if they are comfortable with that) or on hikes (if they are people friendly). Sometimes our furry friends need extra care. I am experienced in oral medicine administration, wound care, ear & eye treatments (if need be)! I am available for pet care on a daily basis. I care for my cats & dog daily. If ever I need backup support, I have a network of folks willing to lend a hand. When pet sitting, I follow the instructions given by the owner regarding when to feed, how much food, how often they need to go outside. Beyond that, I typically tidy up the space every evening, sweeping/vacuuming, refreshing waters, etc. I try to develop a routine so that the animals know what to expect and can relax into a sense of order. I generally find ways that each animal likes to play and find games that are fun and rewarding.
About: I currently have two dogs of my own, a Bernese Mountain Dog & Golden Retriever. I also grew up with Yorkies, Labs, & Heelers. In addition to dogs, I’ve taken care of pigs, horses, cows, bunnies, etc on our farm growing up. I’m a true animal lover through and through! I have experience with senior dogs & puppies, and am confident in being able to care for unique needs. Open to house sitting/dog sitting, walks, potty breaks, and anything in between! Happy to meet you and your animals before committing to make sure it’s the right fit for you! I currently work from home and will be available full time starting July 1. I can work from anywhere in the meantime and have a flexible schedule. I am comfortable with unique needs and staying in your home! We can meet prior to make sure I know their routines. My spouse is home with our dogs, so my focus will be on your animals while you’re away!
