About: I have always loved dogs and they seem to love me too. I create a calm environment while also making sure they get the physical and mental stimulation that they need. About: I have been an animal lover since a young age, and have been caring for dogs since 2011. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, and all ages in between. I have experience in training my own dogs and in practicing commands as asked when puppy-sitting. I've even trained my cat to give high-fives! I also have experience in administering medication, both oral meds as well as eyedrops. Our 14 year old labradoodle gets eyedrops twice daily, which I administer. I bond easily with animals and love dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes! I love getting to know animals, and have a knack for bonding with anxious, shy animals. I am also okay with brushing and bathing, etc., as asked if needed. I am typically available all day on the weekends and most Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am in grad school for the next two years in Forest Grove and classes occur around 9am-4pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I may have time for quick home visits for potty breaks during lunch on these days, if needed. I am happy to spend quiet time with pets who are more mellow, or to spend time playing or walking with energetic, younger dogs if that suits them best. I typically observe the dog's behavior and notes from the owner when deciding what to do- are they looking tired and calm? Are they a bit riled up and could use a playtime or a walk? I will follow any instructions left by the owners, as well. If there is anything specific or special you'd like me to do for your pets, just let me know!

I’ve stayed in homes of family friend dog owners for a few years now, mostly just taking care of the dogs and going on walks, as well as watering plants when needed. I’m not much of a cat person, I didn’t grow up with cats but I can do what is needed of me. I work part time, around 25 hours a week so I’ll have plenty of time to hang out with your babies and make sure they are well taken care of. I will care for your baby in your own home where they have all their favorite toys and comfort spots. I will take them for walks and give them all the snuggles they need!

I helped train both of my family's dogs from puppies and play a role in their daily care. I have experience cat and dog sitting, and managing anxious dogs. I owned a horse in the past which has given me additional experience managing and caring for animals. I am a rising sophomore at the University of Michigan but home for the summer. I love animals and would be delighted to play a role in your sweet pets' care. I have lots of openings for walks and drop in visits every day of the week and can accommodate house sitting as well. Please let me know if you have any questions about myself that would make you more comfortable leaving your pets in my care. I am offering care in client homes (house sitting, drop in visits, and dog walking). I will follow all provided instructions and make sure your pet feels cared for and loved while you are away.
