Their house was very warm and inviting and they really took to him. They were very thorough with all of their questions and made sure that they were equipped to take good care of him. During the trip they gave us constant updates and photos and we felt very safe that he was in good hands. when we went to go pick him up, he did not seem that enthusiastic to leave, which was both sad but also a great sign of how much fun he was having there. I've had my own kitties for 6 years, and I've been taking care of others' cats for even longer, from young kittens to grumpy elders. I can give most kinds of oral and topical medications comfortably if your kitty needs any, and I have a decent amount of behavioral experience. Some of my own cats have been highly anxious or prone to aggression, and I've done long-term sits with cats still being gradually introduced, so I've seen and handled a lot! About: I’ve been rescuing animals for over 22 years-I’ve cared for big, slobbery Rottweilers to tiny, judgmental cats, fish who pretend not to notice me, and guinea pigs that somehow eat like linebackers. I’ve handled rabbits with attitude, a special needs Yorkie who runs the house, and our Texas rescue Lucy—who I’m pretty sure thinks she rescued me. I have a designated bedroom with a ring camera just for my furry friends! We can keep the pets isolated in their own space the entire time, or they can have free roaming of the house. Options for those pets who need less sensory and more quiet and privacy. I work full-time at a hospital Monday through Friday, so my availability for more hands-on, all-day care is best on weekends. During the week, I’m still happy to offer overnight stays, I just like to mention that-because on weekdays, there may be up to an eight-hour stretch without potty breaks while I’m at work. About: I have grown up with a dog in my home as well as have been around lots of pets! Have 3 cat fur babies of my own that I adore, love dogs as well! Currently working 4, 10 hour shifts as a medical assistant so am available 3 whole days a week 2 of the days being Saturday and Sunday and my day off varies weekly but I know what days I have off each week through the end of the year I will make sure each gets play time as well as walk time across the way we have a dog park and lots of place to run!
