Mental stimulation to stay sharp means using snuffle rugs, treat dispensers, hand feeding meals while reinforcing manners and obedience. My kids have a schedule and boundaries as do the animals giving everyone peace of mind.

About: I’ve lived with dogs my entire life. Being in the army I also get called to take care of my friends pets when they were out of town for leave. I like rover because it’s an easy side hustle and I love dogs AND cats I have work in clatskanie from 7-5:30 M-F and on Saturday I work 7-3. I can be available before and after those times. And depending on your comfort level I may take your dog with me on Sunday hikes. I get a full understanding of the owner’s expectations with me and there pet in there home when they are out of town. I have a fully fenced .5 acre yard, with a 2 year old yellow lab and a 8 month old Australian shepherd. Both are up to date on all vaccinations and have been socialized since they were young. I do not do in home house boarding for pet but I can watch your pet at your personal house!
About: I’ve had dogs since I was 5 years old, my senior girl I’ve had since then is 18 yrs old and still going strong! I have two big Great Pyrenees/ Saint Bernard mixes and we take them on walks regularly. I work a nine to five and am free on weekends, so I hang out and take care of my pets in the evenings when I get off work. I don’t currently live at home with my pets so I don’t get to see them as often as I would like because I’m in school. My dogs live with my parents and we have a fenced in yard and a space in our house just for the dogs. I live by myself though if your dog isn’t comfortable around other animals!

I currently work a full time job, and come home on my lunch break everyday to check on my dog. There’s about 3 - 4 hours the dog may be left alone. So if you require dog boarding, your dog needs to be crate trained and I request that you bring their crate from home. I am willing to make exceptions just explain your situation. I have an unfenced at shared yard which my dog plays amazing in! Lots of space for the dogs to run and play. There are also some amazing trails and beach access near by that are perfect for nice walks.
