About: Our family loves animals! We have a big yard, but our pets are usually in the house with us. Our kids (5 & 9) love to play with and help care for them. We are home during the day to accommodate various schedules. We homeschool, so we are extremely flexible to accommodate various schedules for drop-in visits or in-home care. Being home often also means pets will not be lonely! We have a good sized fenced yard with plenty of room to run! Our senior dog isn’t high energy, but us easy to get along with.

About: I am one of those people who will spend most of his time at a party hanging out with the host's pet. I love the joy and occasional challenge of meeting a new animal, figuring out how to communicate with them, and earning trust and friendship. Between growing up with dogs, and being asked to watch dogs, cats, and homes in my neighborhood since I was a kid, I feel confident in my ability to both meet new animals and give them care. My additional experience includes working at a cat vet clinic, as well as working at several animal sanctuaries where I cared for animals like wolves, tigers, chimpanzees, and horses. Those opportunities have allowed me to practice the ability to communicate with all kinds of animals and individual animal temperaments. I love just making sure a pet can go out for a walk, get some play time, get a good brushing, or just feel relaxed by not being alone. About: I am a recent graduate of Carleton College with a double major in Biology and Chemistry. In the fall, I will be starting a PhD in Cancer Biology at UW-Madison. However, despite the scientific background, I worked as an Equine Veterinary Assistant for a year in college, and spent a summer gaining extensive exotic animal care experience from a full time Zookeeping position. About: I grew up on a farm, and have had a huge love of animals, particularly dogs since I can remember. I meet new animals almost daily, and most people are surprised by how quickly their animal warms up to me. I am my friends go to house/pet sitter and they fully trust me in providing great care for their fur babies. I recently transitioned from a high demand job to a primarily remote work long job. About: I have my own dog, got him at 12 weeks he is 7 now. I also grew up with dogs as a kid to adulthood. My dog has a lot of health problems so I know a bit when it comes to a sensitive dogs or ones that needs things done a certain way because of a condition. It really depends on the day, but mostly I could so daily or weekly. I’m dealing with some health stuff and my dog has too. So I’m currently working on those but have plenty of time most days to do something like this. I have a fenced in yard for my dog, when I was in college one house I did it so he was constantly on a leash outside, another house I was in had fences but had to patch them up and make sure he couldn’t get out. I also created my dog at night he loves his crate. During the day when he is alone he has most of the house free to roam, but I will put down potty pads just in case. If clients are okay with there dog out or crated I’m for both.

We would provide the same level care for your pets as you do. We like to treat them like a member of our family and hope that they enjoy their time with us so much that they hardly know you are away. We know it is an honor and a privilege to be trusted with caring for your fury family member and we take that seriously and strive to never disappoint. I currently work from home for my main career as a Spatial Data Analyst (wildlife related). Your pet would have someone around aside from the occasional trip to the store or other errand. I will always communicate openly about my schedule during your visit so you are aware of any times I may have to be out of the house. I have a large fenced backyard and a 4-year-old Great Dane to keep your dog company! Thus, for stays in my home your dog must be dog-friendly, non-aggressive, and not afraid of large breeds. I also have four cats. I do have a doggie gate that keeps the cats separated, but one of them can jump the gate as she likes to sit on top of the kitchen cupboards and observe. Aaron and I have two sons, ages 7 and 10. They both have been around dogs their entire lives and are very used to respecting their space and letting dogs warm up to them. With that said, they are still kids. So for stays in our home, your dog will have to be good with other dogs, young kids, and cats. For stays in your home, your dog ideally will be okay with kids but my kids don't always need to come with depending on the dates of the stay.
About: I am a highly recommended loving and energetic individual whom is also very active and would love to support your pet in the best way possible. I love visiting local parks and playing catch. I absolutely love hiking mountains and going on runs as well.I am very open to whatever your comfort zone with hiking trails and runs. And I am very much open to any suggestions, in fact would love any you might have! I have a lot of availability to take care of your pet! I unfortunately don’t have the space in my life to have a pet of my own so being able to take care of others pets is incredibly fulfilling for me. I would love to get to know your animal and show up for them in the best way possible. Keeping them in routine and familiar with their surroundings is really important to me. Their happiness and comfort is number one!
About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and have cared for all kinds — dogs, cats, horses, and small pets. Friends and family rely on me to walk, feed, bathe, and love their animals like my own. I’m now a college student looking for a flexible way to help others while getting to spend time with pets. I am about to begin my winter term of my first year in college. I will be attending OSU cascades then. I am studying psychology. I don’t have another job at the moment so my only other commitment is classes however my schedule is pretty light next term so it will be easy to work around:) I always prioritize safety, comfort, and routine. “Bends Hidden Gem! My dog has such a blast with Jill. As she puts it, it’s like going to grandmas house. My dog got to play in her fenced in yard. Go for a walk through the neighborhood , jump up on the couch if he pleased and rummage through her toy bin! Her house stays quite cool in summer so it made for a good escape from the heat. Jill is an excellent communicator and has just a general love and passion for animals. I would highly recommend her for anyone.”

About: Our family loves animals! We have a big yard, but our pets are usually in the house with us. Our kids (5 & 9) love to play with and help care for them. We are home during the day to accommodate various schedules. We homeschool, so we are extremely flexible to accommodate various schedules for drop-in visits or in-home care. Being home often also means pets will not be lonely! We have a good sized fenced yard with plenty of room to run! Our senior dog isn’t high energy, but us easy to get along with.

About: I’ve taken care of pets my whole life. I currently have 1 dog and 2 cats and 1 four year old daughter. I’m a teacher and have summer off, so I have lots of time to take care of your pet. I’m a teacher and am off for the summer so I have time to walk, play, or snuggle your fur baby. My house is pet friendly, dogs are allowed on the couch. I have a fenced yard with grass and trees and shade. I have a very mellow 12 year old dog named Yogi and 2 indoor/outdoor cats who do their own thing.
