I have a dog of my own that I trained myself, and I’ve cared for pets of all ages, breeds, and personalities. About: We have both been around and owned dogs since we were kids. I worked in a vet clinic from the time I was 14 all throughout high school. I also worked with a dog groomer for a few summers. I am an Animal Behavior College certified Dog Trainer as well as a wildlife biologist. Let's just say I love animals!! We are cat lovers too and would be more than happy to care for them also! We would provide the same level care for your pets as you do. We like to treat them like a member of our family and hope that they enjoy their time with us so much that they hardly know you are away. We know it is an honor and a privilege to be trusted with caring for your fury family member and we take that seriously and strive to never disappoint. I currently work from home for my main career as a Spatial Data Analyst (wildlife related). Your pet would have someone around aside from the occasional trip to the store or other errand. I will always communicate openly about my schedule during your visit so you are aware of any times I may have to be out of the house. I have a large fenced backyard and a 4-year-old Great Dane to keep your dog company! Thus, for stays in my home your dog must be dog-friendly, non-aggressive, and not afraid of large breeds. I also have four cats. I do have a doggie gate that keeps the cats separated, but one of them can jump the gate as she likes to sit on top of the kitchen cupboards and observe. Aaron and I have two sons, ages 7 and 10. They both have been around dogs their entire lives and are very used to respecting their space and letting dogs warm up to them. With that said, they are still kids. So for stays in our home, your dog will have to be good with other dogs, young kids, and cats. For stays in your home, your dog ideally will be okay with kids but my kids don't always need to come with depending on the dates of the stay.
About: I love all types of animals. Have had pets my entire life. I will care for all pets as if they are my own with the same love and affection. I enjoy going on long walks for those with high energy so the dogs will get a good exercise in. Since I’m home all day pet care is naturally in my daily routine. I have flexible availability, so I can provide consistent walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention. I’m always around to ensure pets are safe happy and loved. In my home, I prioritize a safe environment with plenty of space for pets to feel comfortable. I ensure they have freshwater regular playtime and a calm routine. Safety is always top of mind. In Client homes I follow their routine closely, ensuring trust and comfort for both pets and owners.
About: I’ve been pet sitting on and off for the last 4 years and grew up with all sorts of family pets around the house (cats, dogs, fish and other animals). I travel a lot so it’s not practical to get a pet of our own currently so I’d love to extend my love of animals to your family and treat them as my own. I run a video production company in town so most of my days are spent working from home or only being gone for a few hours max. This allows plenty of time to care for your pets, take them on neighborhood walks, and keep them company. When boarding at my house, I have a fenced in yard and a great neighborhood for walks. Your pet has plenty of space to roam around our house and yard!
About: Growing up I we always had pets, from the youngest I can remember, I’ve done it all; dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, rats, hampsters, hermit crabs, aquariums, as well as stopping to save roads and frogs from the road! Depending on location and service I can do some things after I’m off work at 9-9:30PM We are very conscious about not letting pets out or escaping from our yard, I take the same seriousness with other peoples pets. About: Hi, I’m Suzy! I recently moved to Bend from NYC and I’d love to continue pet sitting on the West coast! I recently took a sabbatical from work after 10+ years with the same company to do some self-care, spend more time outdoors and pursue a career change. I don’t have a pet, but my most recent roommate for 2+ years had a dog (pictured in my profile) and I have experience pet sitting other dogs as well for 10+ years.
