“Leaving your best friend with a stranger can be a nervous experience but Kristi made us and Nixon feel reassured on our pre visit to see the farm beforehand. He was well looked after with walks and play time. Nixon was has been very tired after coming home so we know he got plenty of exercise while there. 10 out of 10 would definitely go back.”

“Gregory was a great sitter and helped our dog Doodle feel right at home. He also sent videos and pictures that helped us see how great of a time Doodle was having. We would definitely use Gregory again!”
“Kyri was an excellent dog sitter for Clover! She responded promptly to messages, including my late request for booking, and provided updates and pics of Clover while I was away. She was very accommodating for my senior blind dog and gave her medication (my dog is also diabetic and requires insulin). It was easy to coordinate pick-up and drop-off times. I did not worry about Clover's well being while I was away. I will definitely book with Kyri again!”

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is my strong experience working with dogs and puppies of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels. I’ve been caring for animals since I was young, starting with pets belonging to family and friends, which helped me build a solid foundation of hands-on experience with dogs in everyday home environments. I’m especially comfortable with puppies and understand the patience and consistency they need while learning routines like potty training, crate training, leash walking, and basic commands. I also enjoy helping reinforce positive behaviors through structure, repetition, and lots of encouragement. For adult dogs, I adapt easily to their personality—whether they are high-energy and need plenty of exercise or more relaxed and prefer a calm routine. I also have experience with senior dogs who may need a slower pace, medication reminders, and extra attention to comfort and mobility. I pay close attention to each dog’s individual needs, including feeding schedules, exercise requirements, and behavioral cues, so they feel secure and understood while in my care. My goal is always to create a safe, trusting environment where dogs feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for. I also provide regular updates, photos, and communication so you always know how your pet is doing while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, especially with my availability in the afternoons and evenings. Since I work part time, I have ample time during the day to give pets the attention, exercise, and care they need. I enjoy spending my evenings going on walks, which would make it easy and consistent for me to provide daily exercise and outdoor time. I also look forward to using my free time for play, feeding, and bonding activities that help build trust and comfort with pets. In my home or a client’s home, I provide pet care with consistency, attentiveness, and respect for the animal’s routine and comfort level. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, portion sizes, medication instructions if needed, and any specific preferences the owner provides. I make sure pets always have fresh water, regular meals, and a clean, safe environment. I prioritize daily exercise and enrichment through walks, playtime, and interaction suited to the pet’s age, energy level, and personality. I also focus on building trust through calm, patient handling and positive attention. In a client’s home, I am mindful of maintaining the space exactly as instructed, keeping things clean and secure, and making sure the pet feels comfortable in their familiar environment. I understand the importance of routine, so I do my best to keep things as normal and stress-free as possible for the pet while their owner is away. Overall, my approach is to care for each pet as if they were my own—providing reliable, loving, and responsible care tailored to their individual needs

“Nate and Whitney took exemplary care of Murphy while we were on vacation. This was our first time leaving Murphy with a sitter and they made sure we knew he was well taken care of. They sent pictures of him and kept us updated of how much food he was eating. 10/10 recommend.”

About: Hi there, my name is Kristen and I have a slight dog obsession. November 2024 started year four of me owning and operating a pet care company that is listed as an LLC in Ohio, and I have loved every single second of it! While on a walk your dog will be my sole focus. I will be sure to select a different route (if possible) during each walk to help them get familiar with their area, but to also help stimulate their brain with the different scents. If you have multiple dogs that need to be walked separately, for any reason, I will rotate my routes so that each dog is exploring a different area instead of where their fur sibling just was. I am happy to go as fast paced, or as leisurely as Fido wants to take our time together. My typical drop-in (play date) visit consists of the following: enter and greet your beloved furkid who will be totally excited to see me (hello treats!- only if it's okay with you first), and then take them outside to potty. While outside I am happy to play fetch, or any other activity they're interested in. Once we come back in I check the water/food situation, and am happy to take care of any medical needs that may be required at this time from giving pills to injections. There's time for a snuggle, or a game, and then it's one last potty break before I head out for the morning or afternoon. I send detailed Rover cards after every visit, and will include as many photos as possible. Dog walking/pet sitting is my passion and full time career. Even while having a steady schedule I have the flexibility that allows me to get to your VIP quickly while maintaining a high level of quality care for all of the animals I care for. From how your pets eat their meals, to sleeping arrangements I try to keep things as normal as possible for them. During my time with your pet they have my undivided attention.

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is my strong focus on cats and kittens and my ability to create a calm, low-stress environment that helps them feel safe and comfortable. I’ve been caring for animals since I was young, starting with pets belonging to family and friends, and much of that experience has been with cats of all personalities—from shy and independent to playful and social. I have experience caring for kittens who need extra attention, including help with litter training, establishing routines, and providing safe, engaging play to support healthy development. I’m also comfortable caring for adult and senior cats, including administering basic medications, monitoring behavior and appetite, and making adjustments to keep them comfortable as they age. I understand that cats can be sensitive to change, so I prioritize keeping their routines consistent, respecting their boundaries, and earning their trust at their own pace. I pay close attention to details like feeding schedules, litter box cleanliness, and subtle changes in behavior that could signal stress or discomfort. I also provide regular updates, photos, and communication so you always know how your cat is doing. My goal is to make sure your cat feels secure, cared for, and relaxed while you’re away—just like you never left.

“Kaitlyn was excellent! While watching our cat, Kovu, she sent lots of pictures and kept us informed throughout his stay. We were able to relax knowing she was taking great care of him. Would definitely use her again!”

“Hillary was an absolutely fantastic dog sitter. From the moment we met her, it was clear she genuinely cares about animals and takes her responsibilities seriously. She was reliable, communicative, and kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Our dog was happy, well cared for, and clearly comfortable with her. Hillary went above and beyond to make sure all routines were followed and that our dog received plenty of attention and love. We wouldn’t hesitate to book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and professional dog sitter.”

“Kayla was awesome! My dogs are very “needy” (lol) and require a lot of time and attention. I needed a day where I could just solely focus on work and getting things done. Also, they hadn’t had a bath or groomed in awhile and their fur was starting to get matted so thought I’d get that done also. I messaged Kayla asking if she was available that week to watch them/bath & brush them. She offered to take them immediately that day! She was very nice when I met her and made me feel comfortable. She took so much care and time with grooming them while also making sure they were comfortable to make sure that she got all the matts out that she actually kept them until 9pm with no extra charge. She also kept me updated every step of the way. My boys came home so soft and clean and I could also tell she tired them out because they both came home and went straight to sleep. She sent me lots of photos of them playing which made me happy to know that they had a great time!”

“Angela is fantastic with my pups. I have always had family watch them during the day, but a change in jobs left me anxious to find the right spot for them. I know they are well cared for at her place. It’s such a peace of mind knowing someone is taking good care of your pups! I would highly recommend her services!”

“Jeanie was so sweet and excited to have my senior pup! She sent me a couple pictures and an update to ease my mind dropping him off somewhere new. Xavier did great at her house and I could tell he was very comfortable with her when I picked him up. I’m super thankful to have found her in a pinch. Now, I know I can drop him off again!”

“Aubrey really helped us out with last minute daycare after a death in our family. Our dog Maggie got along well with her two terriers. She updated me with pictures and texts through out the day. Thank you Aubrey!”

“Arlissa is THE best! My girl is a barker and she handles her wonderfully. Arlissa sends little videos throughout the stay so I can see how Valkyrie is getting along! So far Arlissa is the only Rover sitter I’ve used.I’m sure there are others that are good, but Arlissa is AWESOME!”

I’ve always grown up around animals and I currently have 3 dogs and 2 cats, one cat needing special attention for her medications, so i’m prepared for any special treatment! I have 3 very playful dogs and 2 mellow cats, one needing special care for her medications so I’m always vigilant to any kind of specific care that your animals may need. I’d love to spend more time outside this summer but I also love a couch potato!
“I was coming to a Dayton Ohio for work and I was bringing my mini golden doodle pup along. I needed someone trustworthy to watch my baby boy, Arlo. I came across Katherine’s profile and immediately had that instinct that she was the one 😊 she was accommodating to my over protective mommy needs and agreed to hop on a zoom call with me beforehand. She was warm, nice and kind. It also helped she has 3 adorable little fur baby girls too. For the 4 days I was here for work she would take care of Arlo for me all day. She was extremely responsive and would send me pictures and videos all day without me even having to ask. She has a nice big fenced in backyard that Arlo loved running around freely in all day. Each evening I would pick him up he was exhausted from having fun playing all day. (His besty was her dog, Vanilla) 😊 I cannot recommend Katherine enough. She made my experience great and worry free. Thank you so much for taking great care of Arlo.”

“Elya sent plenty of pictures of the stay, my sam looked genuinely happy as he was receiving all the belly scratches he could ask for, was flexible with pickup and drop off day of as I was not sure when I originally booked, she followed my care instruction to a T has been one of my best rover sitters yet will definitely use again! Thanks so much from me &sam again!”

“Casey and her brother were fantastic with Wren! She came back tired from playing all day, and ready to cuddle up and sleep! Casey sent me updates with pictures and videos throughout the 9 hours she had her, which made me feel good about leaving my girl with her!”

“Emma was great with our dogs, however. We met with her prior to booking so we could get to know her and our dogs could meet her as well. We spoke about the time being 12noon and that was not a problem. The first day (Monday) she was here on time, the next 3 days she arrived at 1pm. 1 hr later then discussed. Then Friday morning she texted us stating she was stuck at a house she was cleaning and was not gonna be able to make it. My wife had to rush from work in Sidney to take them out, then rush back. Keep in mind we had already paid for the entire week.”

“Ashley is an amazing person! She does a wonderful job with my 2 dogs and is very dependable. I know my dogs will have their walk and they love her. She is very communicative and accommodating as well. Always letting us know of any delays or upcoming changes in schedule. We really appreciate her and are glad she is our dog walker.”
“Absolutely great! She always gives me a heads up when she's on her way and I swear my pups love her more than me. They're always so happy to see her and she is so great with them. I highly recommend her”

I’m also very attentive to each pet’s individual personality and needs, whether they’re playful, shy, young, or older. I always aim to create a safe, loving, and stress-free environment for both pets and their owners. Hi! I’m an animal lover and expecting my first baby girl in June, so I’m looking for a reliable and flexible way to earn income while spending precious time with my little one. I’ve always loved being around dogs and would love to help with walking, drop-ins, or pet sitting. I’m dependable, caring, patient, and will treat your pets like family 🤍 I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. In a client’s home, I follow their pet’s normal routine as closely as possible — including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, potty breaks, medications if needed, and lots of attention and affection. I also keep the home tidy and provide updates/photos for peace of mind.
About: Started working with dogs when I was in my early twenties. I stated out as a dog bather and pet care at Petsmart. I then started spending my free time at Sunrise Sanctuary taking care of their rescued livestock. The job that taught me so much was being a dog warden. I learned how to handle emergency calls but also took care of the dogs at the shelter. I work a fun and open schedule so I have more flexibility on dog or cat sitting time frame. My dogs wake me up bright and early at 5am and going to bed around 10pm. So I’m able to check in on dogs within that big time frame. I have a 6 foot wooden privacy fence that I will allow my dogs to go outside in for potty breaks to the dogs playing in the puppy pool. Dogs will not unattended while in the yard.

About: My family has had a dog since before we were married, almost 29 years ago. We lost our last German Shepherd, Greta, in June of 2025. While this has left a huge hole in my heart, I don't feel like we are to a place where we can open our home permanently to another. We will get there but not yet. In the meantime, I'd love to love on your pup! We have had GSD's or GSD mixes for over 25 years. We LOVE the breed and their loyalty. I know that they have to be worked and engaged in order to be "good" dogs! So, let me help you get some of their energy out and give them some of the mental stimulation they need. Our Greta was very well behaved. She did have formal training but as you know, that means I was trained as well. While we got very lax in training (she was 11 years old), I am willing to bring back some of that knowledge and work with yours while on a walk. That is the best time as the reset (calm, rest) afterwards is so important. While I don't mind other dogs, GSD's are definitely my favorite! I'm willing to walk any age and know the demands of stimulation at each age is so different. I occasionally walk my friends Golden Retriever. He is such a good boy but really just loves leisurely strolls while checking out all the pee-mail! I will be walking your dog while my husband is at work and I will come to your home to get the pup! I currently work a seasonal position January through April. The kids are now grown and either out of the house or in college. So, that leaves me somewhat flexible. I do have family out of the area that I will be going to help occasionally but I am definitely looking forward to working this into my weekday mornings and early afternoons. Since I'm only offering dog walking at this time, I'll plan to come to your place, retrieve your dog and head out for a walk! You would just need to provide a collar, leash and bags to clean up! Your dog will be returned at the desired time and will continue his/her napping until you return!

I have a very flexible schedule and am available at most hours of the day and just about any day of the week, to check in on your furbaby! In my home, my dogs are my world. They are played with and walked each day, they have a structured diet, and they are ALWAYS allowed to snuggle on the couch (although I respect if this is not the case in your home)! I greet my dogs and other pets with love and joy. I ensure water is always available, and that they have access to the window so that they can watch outside while I am away. I firmly believe in using all of these when taking care of any pet!
About: I've worked at a doggy day care from 2023-2025 and only stopped because I moved to Ohio from out of state. I have limited puppy training experience, and a good understanding of dog and cat behavior. I also have reptile experience as I owned a California King Snake before moving. Available Monday through Friday from 10am-3:30pm. Saturday from 9am-12pm. I am currently taking time away from working, so I have plenty of time to spend helping take care of your pets! And I will treat every animal with the same level of compassion and respect, because I know that they are more than just animals you live with. I am always alert and watching the mood of animals, so I will be able to ensure they are safe and get along. Crating or separating if needed. And I can help with administering medications.

I am constantly around animals and taking care of them. I’m comfortable around any sort of pet and i’m willing to learn how to best take care of your animal! I love walks, hikes, or taking a trip to a dog park of some sort! I’ve always grown up around animals and I currently have 3 dogs and 2 cats, one cat needing special attention for her medications, so i’m prepared for any special treatment! I’m currently in nursing school whilst also bartending a couple nights during the week but I have plenty of free time and I’m very flexible! I have 3 very playful dogs and 2 mellow cats, one needing special care for her medications so I’m always vigilant to any kind of specific care that your animals may need. I’d love to spend more time outside this summer but I also love a couch potato!
About: I’ve had animals my whole life, ranging from 10+ cats, little shi tzus and Pomeranians, and up to a 130+ lb Rottweiler! I love animals of all sorts, and caring for them is my true passion. I believe pets are the most precious companions people can have, so they should have the love as possible to accommodate that ! I am currently in college, and I do not have a technical job, though I sometimes do grocery delivery orders, I usually spend my time studying. I have a shi-tzu who is super playful and sweet, I do not have a yard but there is a huge field next to my home where I take my dog to go potty.

“Michelle is an amazing and caring dog sitter. She worked with me as my dates changed which helped me a great deal. She's also well knowledgeable about dog's behavior. I will hire her again for my dog, Josie.”

“Paige is awesome! Sent daily updates with photos and took great care of our dog. Our dog also has a fussy diet and a last-minute medication added and Paige handled it all fantastically. Highly recommend!”

“Thank for sending so many pictures and keeping us updated! Bucky obviously loves being there and feels comfortable! I still can’t believe he was willing to share his dog bed with your dogs! I love that! I’m glad we have somewhere to take him where he feels that safe!”

“Maggie loved staying with Lisa. She came back home clearly happy and well. Got daily reports and pictures. She was very professional and kind. Definitely will take Maggie back when needed.”

“Christine and family took great care of Ginger. We received many pictures and updates of the shenanigans our pup was getting into. They took everything in stride and were very accommodating to Gingers needs. I will be reaching out to Christine for any future boarding needs”

“Karen is the best pet sitter that we have ever had! I was able to go on vacation and feel confident that my dog was going to be safe and happy while I was gone. Karen sent us daily updates on how Zoey was doing and sent us several pictures every day. She responded back within a few minutes every time I reached out to her. Karen is very knowledgeable about dogs and how to handle different medical conditions and dog temperaments and personalities. She was able to accommodate my dog's specific diet and medical needs with no problem. I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience and will be using Karen again the next time we need a pet sitter.”
