About: Hi! I’ve been a dog lover my whole life and have rescued many dogs over the years. I also grew up with dogs during my childhood. The last six we’ve owned have been rescues. I'm looking for part-time work doing some type of care for other's dogs, whether it be caring for them in their own home while the family is on vacation or letting them out during the day while the owner works. I'm available most days for overnight stays (based on availability) and most days for walks and drop-in visits, if they need to be let out or just played with for a while. I now own two small dogs. They are a Cavachon that we got at the age of 8 weeks and a Yorkie mix we adopted when he was 3. The Cavachon’s name is Cooper and in 2025 he turned 4. He was a breeder surrender because he wasn’t “perfect,” meaning he was born without his right front paw. He gets around fine and loves other dogs and people. The second little guy is Boomer, a Yorkie mix who is 4 now. They are both dog and people friendly. I'm hoping to share my love for dogs with others who need help caring for theirs. I’m very allergic to cats so I can’t help with them. Small dogs only. I have experience giving medications and also giving insulin shots, because one of my dogs was diabetic. Thanks and I hope you’ll consider me for your dog’s care. We are retired and I do dog sitting and walking part-time for extra money. Sometimes my husband comes along too. About: I’m available for round-the-clock care this summer! I am a music teacher during the school year but I love taking care of animals as well. I can care for any type of animal, I’m always down to learn about new and interesting pets too! I’m available almost 24/7 this summer since I’m a teacher and have summers off. I’m hoping to get plenty of walks in not only for the animals but also myself! I am able to provide consistent care around the clock if needed. Dogs were perfect little angels and never showed distress as they were made to feel at home during their stay. Great communcation via messages, videos and pictures. They shared any concerns they observed during the stay and checked in to make sure it was normal behavior and one of our dogs health was okay. They were amazing and accomodating. She was sitting a couple other dogs at the same time and the day I dropped her off , she introduced Daisy to a dog of a similar temperament so Daisy would have a friend. Also we were later than expected getting home and when I asked Andrea said we could pick Daisy up the next morning instead of the night we planned to pick her up.”
