“Sarah was fantastic! We hired her to care for our 2 fur babies (cats, age 10 y/o) over 6 days (2x per day, 12 visits total). Sarah handled food, water, litter box cleanup, & playtime. Both cats have special dietary needs & a specific feeding schedule. Sarah did an excellent job sticking to this schedule, meeting their dietary needs, & communicating with us throughout her visits. One of our cats was recently diagnosed with diabetes (in remission now) with a scary long-term ICU stay & we were very anxious about leaving him for such a long period of time. Sarah definitely put our minds at ease! She sent updates about their eating habits, catered to all their little quirks, & even went above & beyond to do things like vacuuming stray litter & attempting to remove a particularly unfortunate vomit stain from a white rug. Sarah sent lots of pictures (at our request) & did a great job making judgment calls on things we hadn’t prepped her for (like removing hazards—e.g., a toy the cats destroyed & tried to eat). If you want someone communicative & compassionate who takes initiative & makes responsible judgment calls, Sarah is your sitter!”

About: I have two special needs cats myself. They both require different types of medication to be administered daily on a regular schedule. They also have varying levels of intimacy needs. I have tons of experience with house training and crate training puppies. I volunteer at our local animal shelter weekly and have developed a strong bond with the rescue community. About: Hi! I'm Elijah and I'd love to care for your dog(s) whether you're going on vacation or simply need a sitter for the day. I'm a nursing student in my final semester and I'm returning to Rover after six years! I have one dog of my own, a 9-year-old mini schnauzer named Winston, along with two rabbits and a leopard gecko. My partner has two dogs of his own as well, a labrador named Nina and a shih-tzu mix named Lucky—both of them being seniors at ages 13 and 15! We live in a 2 bedroom house with a medium sized, fenced in backyard. I have gates and areas of the house that can easily be secluded if your pet would do better with limited access to other animals. Our dogs are all easy-going, surprisingly playful for their ages, and get along with other animals very well (although I'll still do introductions slowly and safely!). Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday are the 3 days I have classes and I'm always home after that! Tuesday and Thursday I have a 2-hour class, and Saturday is my long day with a 10 hour clinical so my bookings will be closed for that specific day. The animals in my home are left alone for very little time each week. If guest animals have to be left alone, I have gates along with two rooms I can secure the guest pet in if need be! If you utilize a crate for your animal, you can bring that as well for me to use if I must leave for a short time.

About: I am over the top when it comes to animals. I typically go above and beyond in play and in care. I love to groom them, go hiking or on extended walks and cuddle! I am currently a nursing student who is trying to make extra money so I can stop working during clinicals. Also I have a small child that I could always use extra money for! In my home pets will be in a shared space with toys and activities. I will walk pets every 4-6 hours and will groom both cats and dogs if i see fit (not full groom but wipe eyes, paws, etc) I also enjoy going to the park so if possible i would love to take them to a park near your home or my own

About: I’ve had dogs since I can remember. I’ve just recently introduced a cat into our dog family and it’s been such a pleasure caring for my babies. I would love to do the same for someone else! I am available at the moment to work any day weekday and weekend, I currently have no restrictions to when I can not do it. Fast forward to today, I am now a mother of two orange special needs kitties. They are my world 🌎 ❤️🐾 I currently work part time and go to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On school days, class starts at 9 and I will have an hour and a half between classes to let a pet out to go to the bathroom, feed them, or give them medication. Then I have another class from 1-3. After that, I will be totally free to assist any pets. I also work part time 3-4 days when I do not have school. These are usually 6-8 hour shifts, but I can adjust feedings/walking/medication administration around these times. And when in doubt, I have several well regarded Rover friends that are willing to help out on my longer shifts, with client approval. :-) I have space to keep a crate for overnight visits and live in an apartment complex with some green space to walk and explore. I am also only a few minutes away from five different parks, so lots of options to check out. I have two cats that are dog friendly, but can be separated if the dog is not cat friendly !

About: Hello, my name is Maraya. I am a current student majoring in bioengineering looking to switch to pre-vet. I have experience with dogs of all sizes from mastiffs to small poodles, cats, as well as small animals as I have 2 bunnies of my own! Can’t wait to meet your furry family member! About: I love the dedication and unconditional love that dogs provide their human companions. I will admit that personally I have cats, and they just don't do that all the time :) I have dog-sat for friends over several years providing feedings, walks, and playtime to Malteses to German Shepards. I love getting to know each dog and treating them as if they were my own, which means they are usually going to be pretty pampered. If your dog needs specialized care, I would be willing to learn. I don't really know what specialized care entails for a dog, but feel free to message me and we can discuss. I am a high school teacher so my availability is afternoon/evenings and weekends during the school year but wide open once it is the summertime. My cats are not used to dogs, so caring for dogs in my home would mean they would be spending time outside. However taking care of dogs in their home allows them to be comfortable, have rub my belly sessions (if that's what they like), and take walks in the area that they are most comfortable.
About: I care for up to 34 dogs at a time of various size groups at my job. I regularly give them wellness checks and engage with them for fun. I currently work at a part time job for over the summer but my hours vary so that will change my availability. I’m also a full time student in University. About: I am a responsible mom of kids and animals. I currently have 3 dogs and 2 cats. From a young age, I have had many pets, worked in a vet office and volunteered at an animal shelter. We have fostered many dogs and cats. I love animals, and I will love your animals as if they were my own. I can give medication, walk them or even take them to dog parks. We take our dogs camping, hiking, and kayaking and they love it. I am a homeschool mom of teenagers. This means I am flexible on my time and availability. We are home a lot, so your pets are not left alone long. I have a fenced-in yard, and I can attend to almost anything your pets would need or the client would like me to do to care for their pet.
About: I’ve had animals in my home since I was born! Currently I have a dog and two cats of my own. I’ve been around and cared for animals of all sizes and breeds. I have a cat now that needs to take oral medication daily so I have experience there, and work from home so I’m fairly flexible on how I can care for your babies while you are away! I work from home, and at a restaurant on the weekends. So my availability is very flexible. I take my dog out every few hours to walk and smell around the neighborhood. I’m very active so if you have an active pet that’s great! But I can also take it slow if that’s what your senior baby needs. My dog is always leashes when outside for her safety as I do not have a fenced in yard. We walk on the sidewalks and always look out for traffic and other dogs!

About: I've been caring for animals for nearly 10 years- cats, guinea pigs, dogs, and other exotics, I've cared for it all! I am also a proud cat mom to 2 cheeky furballs! I work full time 8:30-4:30 Monday through Friday, and my weekends are usually very if not completely free! About: I've literally love pets all my life taking care of mines and my family pets I just love doing what’s right for me and this is the job for me either if that's towards people or animals I work part time but I will definitely have time to be there for your pets at full cost no if ands or buts about it I have all the time they'll need I live in a quite neighborhod with plenty of open fileds for them to run around and play with me and a nice home for them to have a good time
