About: Hi! I’m Heather — a stay-at-home foster mom, runner, dog lover, and experienced foster/service dog handler based in Batavia, Ohio. After years in corporate recruiting, I’m finally leaning into a life that feels a little more like me — being home with our foster son, spending more time with dogs, being outside, going on walks, and building something slower and more meaningful here in Ohio. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve helped foster and raise more than 50 dogs over the years, including service dogs in training, and I’m also a certified volunteer through the Clermont County Animal Shelter where I walk dogs, take dogs on day trips, and foster here in Ohio. Before moving here, I also helped watch and walk dogs for friends, family, neighbors, and foster connections in Minnesota. We also have a fully fenced yard and two friendly Labs that love having dog friends around. I know how hard it can be leaving your dog with someone else, so I’m big on communication and love sending lots of photo updates throughout their stay so you know they’re happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. Dogs receive regular potty breaks, supervised outdoor time, meals on their normal schedule, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Because I’m not away for long workdays, pets spend very little time alone and are part of our family’s daily activities. Safety is my top priority. We have a fully fenced yard and two friendly Labrador Retrievers who are used to having other dogs around. I’ve fostered and raised more than 50 dogs, including service dogs in training, and I’m comfortable managing different personalities, routines, crate schedules, medications, and introductions. Meet & greets are required before all new boarding stays so we can make sure everyone is comfortable and it’s a good fit for both your dog and our home. I want every dog to feel safe, successful, and stress-free during their stay.

“We usually use a family member to take care of our cats. Due to a scheduling conflict we needed outside help. Sara did a great job! She was great at sending several photos of my happy cats. Sara was even able to see and get a photo of my super scared cat (Odie) that no ever sees, that just doesn't happen. We asked Sara to stay for an hour to love on them so they would not feel so abandoned. She did just that and we have pictures showing how our needy/affectionate cat (Loki) just crawled all over her. The area around the food and water bowl was left clean and tidy. The liter box was cleaned regularly. Thank you for attention to detail. If they could talk I am sure they would ask for Sara again by name.”

About: My family adopted our cat Sassafras when I was 10. As a kitten she had some health issues and injuries, so I had an early start in terms of tending to her properly, helping give her medicine, etc. She has since grown into a beautiful and healthy adult cat! I got more experience working with cats at an animal shelter, where I cared for stray cats, elderly cats, kittens, disabled cats, and diseased/quarantined cats, all with unique personalities and varying levels of sociability.

About: I am a huge animal lover! I currently have an 12 year old Goldendoodle named Stella. I have had dogs my whole life and can’t imagine ever being without one! I love taking Stella to dog parks, going for walks, or hanging out around town. I would love to do the same with any dog that I would be watching! Stella also loves to be around other dogs and has never been aggressive in any way. I would be happy to accommodate any special needs your fur baby may have! I do have my 3 year old son and 5 month old daughter in the home as well, so the pups will need to be kid friendly! About: I have 2 cats of my own - Echo and Luna. They were both rescued as tiny babies and are now 6 and 7. I have cared for dogs my whole like (my own, friends, families). I genuinely love every breed and can walk, play, clean up after or just spend time with any pet! I also am a registered volunteer at a local shelter where I go in to walk the dogs or spend time socializing the cats. I work from home so I could also keep your puppy while you’re at work to help with potty training, etc. I work from home and have pretty free weekends. Depending on location, I can be available throughout the week days and almost always available on weekends and evenings! I would be able to keep certain pets in my home. I have a smaller apartment with two cats and will be working, but for example, I could keep a small dog that doesn’t like being alone or a new puppy that is potty training!

About: I have two dogs and love being around dogs. I enjoy going on walks and taking them on car rides. The best part of my day is being around my dogs and if i see a dog I want to just pet and love them all . I have saved one from a shelter and she is hyper and I take her on daily walks. My 5 year old has ear infections and give him the proper medicine by his vet and clean out his ears. Also I enjoy bathing dogs and just letting dogs be dogs. It's all about them not feeling alone and having someone there that loves them as much as their owners. About: I spent my entire life around animals. I grew up with an Australian Shepherd, who lived to be 18. Not long after that, my family adopted a puppy, and later two cats. I helped to train the puppy, I introduced the cats, and today they still thrive. Theoughout my childhood/teens, I learned about and cared for many-a-creature. Guinea pigs, rats, a hamster, sugar gliders, a hedgehog, and even a dove! My passion for animals has only grown. When I moved away, it was lonely, and I was quick to adopt a kitten. About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was three years old. Our household has once consisted of four dogs at once and I loved it. I’ve taken care of dogs as young as eight months to 14 years old. My experience consists of grooming, potty training, basic training, feeding & water, medication management, and even changing diapers in later stages of life. I’ve also taken care of neighbors pets, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, and even hedgehogs. I have experience of checking in on the dogs and feeding them throughout the day to staying at the house for hours to provide exercise and company for their furry friend. I also have over a year of volunteer experience at local dog shelters. I am a graduate student so I have open availability throughout the week. The longest I’m gone one day per week is four hours. I do work from home on Monday’s for two hours but then I am free to spend time with my furry friends. I attend classes twice a week, Monday’s I am gone for 3 hours and Tuesday’s I am gone for 7 hours. The rest of the week I am not home for 0-3 hours. This means your furry friend will not be left alone for more than 4 hours any day except Tuesdays. I walk my dogs every 2-4 hours and we enjoy trips to the dog park at my apartment complex. I have two friendly dogs at my apartment that would love to meet your pet. We spend a lot of our time playing or snuggling on the couch. We go for walks around our apartment complex and we take trips to the dog park next to our building. I have a young energetic dog that loves to play and a have an older dog that loves to get the zoomies and then become a couch potato. When I am away, my dogs stay in their crates. For your furry friend, I can use a doggy gate to give them some extra space since they are in a new environment. I can keep them in my kitchen which will give them enough space to walk around and lay in their bed. My dogs takes medicine twice a day so I already have a routine for giving medications to my dogs. I would be happy to walk your furry friends with my dogs or by themselves if that is your preference. We also have plenty of dogs toys ranging from stuffed animals to the Bark Super Chewer toys, if your dog likes to destroy toys, like mine does. I have two beagles so I am used to food driven dogs that only listen if there are treats involved. I also have my garbage secured underneath the cabinets with baby locks on them so no animal can get to it. I also am within 20 minutes of a 24 hours emergency vet if your dog was to ever show any concerning signs.
About: I have handled dogs for the entirety of my life, all sizes from small to large, and with a fenced yard, they will have space!! I will be at home all the time, and will be able to give 100% attention to your animal while they are in my care. I have a fenced yard and two fur babies to keep your dog company. I can crate your animal if needed, but have space for your animal to explore

About: Hi! I’m Heather — a stay-at-home foster mom, runner, dog lover, and experienced foster/service dog handler based in Batavia, Ohio. After years in corporate recruiting, I’m finally leaning into a life that feels a little more like me — being home with our foster son, spending more time with dogs, being outside, going on walks, and building something slower and more meaningful here in Ohio.
