Another cat, the “big sensitive boy,” usually treats strangers like they’re government agents and he has warrants. The photos Macy sent of him warily eyeing her from the staircase made us ROFL (as we used to say). Not only would we happily have her back, but she’s earned a place on our Christmas card list—an honor usually reserved for blood relatives, members of our gaming guild, and the mailman.”

About: I have a 10 year old orange 😸 who goes by the name Crush. Crush came to us as a little baby who was abandoned outside. One cold rainy morning my daughter was leaving to go to basketball practice and unfortunately crush head sought shelter underneath her warm engine . When my daughter went to pull out of the driveway, she ran him over. We didn’t think he was going to make it. It was quite a traumatizing experience. !! The vet called the next morning & said that he suffered a broken pelvis but with rest , love & time, he was going to be good !! Naturally, we were asked if we wanted to adopt him, I couldn’t say no!! His name comes from his experience & his beautiful orange color like the orange pop. He is the biggest cat honestly looks just like Garfield. He enjoys, watching the birds and squirrels from the big sliding glass door and soaking in the fresh air.

About: It seems as if I've always had a cat or dog or both since I was in grade school. At this time I have many kitties and one dog. Some of my kitties are foster kitties. Some I can pet and others I enjoy from a distance. I have 1 dog named Frannie. She is possibly a Rottweiler shepherd mix. In the past I grew up with a standard poodle. I have had a shepherd mix, another Rottweiler mix and a pit mix. I have seen all my dogs and cats thru to the rainbow bridge. I have fostered a litter of labrador puppies. That was fun! I currently help my mom with her pug mix named Chloe. I am currently working part time at a pre-school. I have Mondays, weekends, holidays and the summers off. I work until noon Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays until 3pm I would need to make sure your pets are cared for before I go to work @7:15am. I have a neighbor who helps me let my dog out while I'm at work, so I would be free after work to check on your animal(s). I would then need to come back to my house and take care of my animals and then go back to check on yours. I could do that as often as needed and then longer thru the night. I anticipate every situation to be different so depending on the need. I would be able to keep kitties in my spare bedroom. I have a large screen door to put in front of the bedroom door to keep them separate from my animals if needed. I am flexible to what the needs may be

Living in my parents home means there are multiple animal-loving people to keep your pet company alongside a couple of other friendly cats! That said, I can easily keep animals separated if that is preferred. In your home, I will take deliberate care to be a calm, cheerful visitor for your pet and to leave your home as perfect as I found it!
About: Since I was a child, I have always had animals in my home. As I got older, I began caring for friends and family's pets. When I was 16 years old, I began offering in home dog sitting services. Throughout my life I have worked for vet offices and boarding facilities. I started my own dog training company in 2017, Luna's Canine Academy. I currently work as a veterinary assistant in North Canton so you can rest assured that your pets are safe with me. I am a veterinary assistant and work 4 days a week. I have a 2 hour lunch break so I go home and let the dogs out to play on my lunch breaks. I don’t leave my dogs for more that 4-5 hours because my older dog cannot hold it for long. I have worked with dogs my entire life and am very knowledgeable in the care and safety of animals. I have many years of experience and wonderful referrals from past clients. Each dog is treated exactly how their owner would treat them. I am sure to be very thorough with my clients on what their daily routine is, what they are expecting, and what I will be providing. Safety is always my number one priority.
About: I’ve taken care of animals my whole life. Clients, friends, family, and neighbors have relied on me to take care of their animals for over 10 years. I have experience working with dogs and cats of all ages and a background in pet supplies, nutrition, and food. About: I’m not sure that there’s one specific thing that would set me apart from other caregivers however, my best buddy Trouble crossed the rainbow bridge in February. Trouble was a 13 year old Weimaraner that my daughters & I rescued during Covid. Currently, Im not ready to be a dog mom just yet but I am ready to fill the empty space in my heart! I miss having a fur baby to walk with & playing in the yard. I have experience with large breeds , rescues, and seniors. I do work a full-time job Monday through Friday but I work a hybrid schedule & on the weekends I am an early riser so I could start as early as 5 AM. I’ve self-trained my own dogs and I’m comfortable reinforcing basic obedience commands like sit, stay, leave it, and leash manners (especially helpful for puppies and energetic dogs). I also groom and bathe my own dogs, and while full grooming isn’t typically part of my services, I’m absolutely willing to help if an urgent situation arises. I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks and check-ins, including hourly relief when needed, and I can do multiple drop-ins throughout the day. Because I’m home often, I’m also able to give pets consistent attention, supervision, and routine support. Care looks a little different depending on whether I’m in your home or mine, but my top priorities are always safety, routine, and clear communication. I expect to communicate frequently during your pet's visit with me. In my home: For daycare or boarding, I require that dogs are crate trained, since dogs will be crated overnight and anytime I’m not home. I also require up-to-date vaccine records to keep everyone safe. I have two dogs of my own, so I carefully monitor introductions and compatibility. We do have a yard, but it is not fenced, so all outdoor time is supervised and on-leash. In your home: During our meet & greet, we’ll go over your pet’s routine in detail (feeding, potty breaks, walks, medication, etc.). I ask that any important care instructions are also listed in your pet’s Rover profile in writing, so everything is clear and consistent. I’m happy to follow your household routines as close as possible during the visit.

Semi retired and on a flexible schedule so I have time to shower kindness and caring on your pets while you’re away. I have experience in obedience training and worked as a professional groomer for both dogs and cats. I was adopted by my 2 fur babies (both rescues) and I frequently watch my grand dogs. About: Through high school I work at an animal health store. I’ve also lived on a farm since a young age, in addition I have cared for my familles exotic petting zoo through my teens!
