She stayed with Luna, sent me photos and updates, and even cleaned out a very unpleasant litter box that I truly didn’t expect anyone to deal with. That alone meant so much. About: I’ve helped out family with their animals on and off my whole life. From dogs & cats to horses & chickens! Growing up I never had pets due to my mom being severely allergic. So, as I got older I got into pet sitting to get my fix of animal loving because I have always LOVED animals. About: Hello there! My name is Abby and I am a 28 year old exotic animal keeper, as well as cats and dogs. I have several different species ranging from large snakes to chameleons. I have been caring for exotic species for the last five years. I also care for dogs and cats. I’ve had 20 years of dog and cat care experience. I ask that you bring their food, bowls, litter, and litter boxes and any other special items they may need. Same goes for any dogs :) I have worked as a foster for shelters in Columbus for three years as well, so I am used to providing 24/7 care for other animals. I work from home full time, so I am able to have a very flexible schedule. If you need your animal cared for in my home, I am able to provide that service. I get off of work in the early evening, which gives me plenty of time to do drop in visits after work. My yard is fenced in, which is great for your doggie kiddos. I also do not let my cats outdoors, so any cat staying with me will be safe in the home. I have a dedicated room in our home where I house all of my rover guests away from our pets. Small dogs are okay to be boarded in my home, as well as any cats as long as they are litter box trained.

We have chickens/ducks, a snake, cats and dogs currently but have also had rabbits if you’re looking for someone with experience outside the norm. I can administer oral medications if necessary. I stay home with my kids so I’m available most of the day, early mornings and evenings so adding in extra pets is no problem at all. She and her husband made me feel very comfortable leaving Koda with them and worked with me as I needed to have someone else pick up and drop off. She kept me updated with pictures and took him on walks. I will absolutely be booking with Amber again if she agrees and absolutely recommend. Thank you so much Amber!!”

About: I've been a devoted dog parent to my own pup for 3 years, who truly means the world to me. Caring for her has taught me how important patience, gentleness, consistency, exercise, and affection are for a happy dog. I’ve also volunteered with rescue shelters and animal sanctuaries, helping care for dogs and supporting animals in need. Through those experiences, I’ve become comfortable with a wide range of personalities and energy levels. Dogs have always had a special place in my life, and I treat every dog like family.
