I have experience with sweet senior dogs who need a little extra medical care and patience, as well as energetic younger pups who thrive on playtime and activity. Since I work from home, I’m able to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and cuddles throughout the day. I have an older beagle and two laid-back cats, so I understand how important it is for every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and part of the family. About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life 🐾 For nearly 20 years, that love has shaped both my personal life and my work in animal welfare along with nonprofit work. I have a background in animal behavior, shelter medicine, dog training, and I’m Fear Free certified. I understand how important it is to feel completely comfortable with who you trust your pet with, and I would love to start with a meet & greet to ensure both you and your pet feel comfortable with me and that we are a good fit! I only take one client at a time in my home. My golden retriever and I volunteer with a local K9 search and rescue team and specialize in rescuing missing persons. Outside of that, my dogs are my adventure partners. We love hiking, camping, traveling and being outside whenever we can. During the week (Tues - Thurs), I work outside of the home, but I have a flexible schedule and will come home for midday care. My own pets are never left longer than 5 - 7 hours. I have a fully fenced in yard, and out on walks, I will use a secure harness lead for added safety unless you prefer otherwise.

About: In addition to growing up with both dogs and cats of my own, I have been caring for pets through Rover for nearly 8 years now and I know exactly how much work goes into taking care of man's best friend! Whether you have an energetic puppy, a special needs senior, or family felines, I am here to help! I'm WFH full-time and am able to offer boarding and doggy daycare for small breeds only (under 15lbs due to weight restrictions at my apartment, house-trained, and not prone to loud barking or urine marking), but since I have two cats with limited space, I require a meet and greet in my home prior to booking. While I do offer house sitting and drop-in visits, I have a diabetic cat that requires insulin injections 8am & 8pm which does mean I have to stay pretty local for overnight & prefer no more than 5 nights (also if you have a diabetic cat too, I got you!). House sitting rates includes staying in your home around the clock, aside from my twice a day trips home and any errands or other drop-ins I might have. If 30-60 min drop ins are too short for your fur baby's needs, please select house sitting option and I will work with you to stay in the home as much as you need even if overnights aren't necessary :) When first meeting clients I like to do a thorough walk-through of everything there is to know about their pup's feeding and walking schedule as well as about the home (alarms, spare keys, guest room etc.) that way I have less questions for the owner while they are away and can confidently jump into the dog's regular routine without any hiccups.

I've had about 5 years of experience in working with anxious dogs who are scared of everything - very used to taking a long time to grt scaredy dogs outside. With that, I'm very experienced in delivering medications or cleaning up messes. I understand how stressed our fur babies feel when we need to leave them and my main goal is to make them as comfortable as absolutely possible. I work a 8-5, so my availability will be from 5:30pm- 9pm mostly for walks and check ins and then I am pretty open most satursdays 6am-9pm I can feed, play with and walk dogs and any other requests you may have for them. She takes him on various routes and mixes up the scenery. My services does not stop with just dogs, please ask me about your other lovable critters! I do work full time, so my services will primarily be available after 3:30 and on weekends. If my services are needed before 3:30pm, Please arrange them with me well ahead of time so that I can make the necessary changes in my FT work schedule to fulfill your needs! I am currently working full time Monday-Thursday, so I am available Fridays-Sundays. Depending on your location, I may be available for evening drop ins during the week after 530pm. If you are looking for Housesitting during the weekdays, I am able to take requests on a case-by-case basis. I have a cat of my own at home. Out of respect for both your pet and my own, I typically prefer coming to you and providing care for your pet in the comfort of their own home.
