Both my dogs are rescue dogs, so I always worry when they go to a new place. I had no need to worry. When we did our meet and greet, they did well. During the time they stayed with Erika she sent me pictures and updates regularly. There was a small issue with one who has a sensitive stomach and she immediately reached out to me to confirm how to handle. She was willing to give a probiotic every day, to keep my boy on his schedule. I appreciate all those details very much. I currently work part time and mostly from home so I I am able to provide easy care in my home or yours. We have a fenced back yard. About: Hi!! I have a deep love for dogs and have grown up with them my whole life of all ages! I got my first dog in high school and was I was 100% responsible for her and raised her from a puppy until she was 4 years old until I had to go to college and couldn’t bring her with me. I miss her so much so I thought this is a great way to fill that void! I have experience with different breeds as well, and I have dog sat for some of my friends and family in the past! I am currently taking summer classes and I have a very free schedule with only being out of the house for 1-2 hours a day. About: I've taken care of family dogs, both large and small, since around age twelve. In high school I also cared for a bird, as well as part of my adulthood. In early adulthood I worked for three years as a professional dog handler and dog walker for a company in New York City. I am accustomed to reading dogs body language and keeping them safe and feeling secure. I've lived with cats in more recent years and have consistently been hired to cat sit for neighbors. I am comfortable with elder pets, administering medications, and helping anxious pets feel more comfortable at home and out in the world. I also have some experience with smaller mammals (rabbits, guinea pigs, domestic rats) as well as some farm animals. I am a full-time grad student, so my schedule is much more flexible than a 9-5 worker. That said, at the moment I can only take care of pets who can be alone for at least four hours at a time during the week because of my class schedule (weekends I'm more flexible). You can depend on me to safely enter and exit your home with care for security and cleanliness, and I'd always touch base with you for any concerns. I'm also disabled by long-COVID and take many COVID mitigations (still masking), so I'd be safer for immunocompromised clients. For drop-in visits and popping into your home for a dog walk, I will be masked. For pet sitting overnight, I'm always happy to take a COVID test—just let me know!

About: Dogs are ALWAYS allowed on furniture. They will get tons of play time and if they are really active, they can go with me on some hikes! I work remotely so there will always be someone at home with them. Plenty of potty breaks and head scratches! Whatever they need, they will get! I work from home so someone will always be with them. There is a large park across the street that I will take them too if they need to get some energy out. They will be well taken care of!

“My boarding experience with Lauren has been great. I felt really comfortable knowing she was well cared for during my extended trip away. Lauren is easy to communicate with and very responsive. We also do daycare with her and my Yorkie enjoys going back, which says a lot since she’s usually pretty anxious in environments outside of the house. Lauren is very kind and treats my little one like her own, and I really appreciate the care she gives her. We’ve had a great experience overall.”

“Erika took care of my two babies while I was traveling. Unfortunately, my previous dog sitter is no longer in the area, so I had to find a new sitter. Both my dogs are rescue dogs, so I always worry when they go to a new place. I had no need to worry. When we did our meet and greet, they did well. During the time they stayed with Erika she sent me pictures and updates regularly. There was a small issue with one who has a sensitive stomach and she immediately reached out to me to confirm how to handle. She was willing to give a probiotic every day, to keep my boy on his schedule. I appreciate all those details very much. It is such a relief to find a good honest person to take care of my pups when I need to be away. I will definitely use Erika again.”
