About: Labs have been in my life since I was born, but I got my kitten at age 6, so I'll say that's when my real pet care experience began! Animals are such a significant part of my life that I got my bachelor's degree in zoology. I've practiced dairy goat husbandry, studied monkeys in the Surinamese rainforest, and worked as an animal keeper at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Not only do I understand how to care for animals, but I'm a truly playful and active person. There's nothing better than romping around outside with a pup and wearing one another out! That being said, I helped care for my family dog Farrah in her senior years and during that time we shared some of the most tender and mellow moments. I have 3 lil kitties who I love- I can definitely work with any animal ranging from reptiles to horses :) volunteering at sanctuary’s and zoos helped me gain that experience. I work full time, but remote/hybrid. I have the ability to schedule many breaks within my schedule for play time and potty breaks. I can provide as much attention needed for your little pups and/or kitties. Please feel free to shoot me a message to check availability if my calendar is blocked! I do not at this time provide boarding, but I live in a two story duplex! My cats have their own area and I have the ability to keep them separate from other animals if needed. “Aspen was so great. I was nervous about using rover and leaving my dog with a stranger, but Aspen was amazing. She was very friendly and welcoming when I dropped my dog off; she told me that she would be to take Effie on a few walks throughout the day and that she might even take her up to the lake. She sent me daily pictures and updates about the walks she would take with my dog and just overall how my dog was doing. It was nice to get the updates/pictures while I was gone for the week and put me more at ease with leaving her. There was a portion of Effie’s stay that another dog was going to be there and Aspen was very accommodating and wanted to make sure it was ok with me that there was another dog there (it was), but she even offered to go to my home on those days to let Effie out if it was not. I would definitely recommend Aspen and would use her again in the future :)”

She is a kind and took time before my dog's stay with her to have us visit and answer any questions. She also was an attentive listener to learn what she could about my dog before her stay with Katherine. My dog was a happy pup when we picked her up after we got back! In fact, I think she would have liked to stay longer at Katherine's! Katherine's fenced in yard is a big plus with the dogs having outdoor time.”

About: I currently have two dogs, an Australian Shepard and a Border Collie, and have cared for other dogs in the past! Whether that was taking them on walks, light grooming, letting then outside for bathroom breaks, feeding, giving some much needed love, or anything in between. I truly believe that dogs need time to burn some of their energy and get exercise through the day. So, by going on walks and having play time outside is a perfect outlet for this, and something I genuinely enjoy doing! I love spending time with them and being able to build a bond with them. For me, working with dogs never feels like a job, but more of a great opportunity to have fun with my favorite animals! Recently moved and I am working from home so I would love to have a furry companion throughout the day or to visit and play with your pets! I have an apartment that is pet friendly and there are great places to walk and awesome dog parks around the area. I am constantly taking cute pictures of the fur babies and I love sharing them.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since i was a little girl, they’re an important part of my life. Every dog that visits will receive a bath if requested! Very good with senior pups! I have a very flexible work, as well as my husbands schedule so always there to do potty breaks and just give some love and attention! I have one dog right now, he’s a 6 year old lab. He’s pretty chill, likes to play & would love to have a buddy to play with!
