And "cared for" Chrissy and family did! She sent me photos of him every other day and I got to see how normal life stayed for him while I was gone. Another reason I felt comfortable with Chrissy is that she has the vet tech background. Mr. Miyagi has allergies and can be a little high maintenance. I wanted someone who could recognize his allergies and respond accordingly if needed. Chrissy was great! I give her 4 "dog thumbs" up!”

About: I love animals, and have a cat and dog of my own. I have a fenced yard for dogs to run around in. I am doing this so my dog can have playdates(!) and just because I love animals. I work from home Mon/Fri so I focus on weekend stays, and only accept only one family at a time. So rest assured that your cat/dog will be well taken care of! I work from home Monday and Friday, and my work is pretty flexible on other days. I go on walks every day and live minutes away from a dog park as well! I have a fenced yard and a dog to play with. My dog and cat are both fully vaccinated. I have a dedicated pet room that can be closed off for separation if needed, and a crate as well.

About: After combining households with my partner, I discovered I’m just as much of a cat person (if not even more!) as I am a dog person. We live with now 2 beautiful cats named Itty Bitty and Rin. Bitty is a charming and chatty girl that loves discovering all the places she can nap around the apartment, and spends her days staring out our gigantic windows. Bitty is 14 now and loves meeting new people! Rin is just a baby and joined us last November! While she has the capacity to be a total lunatic, she’s actually very shy and reserved when you first meet her. I’m ready to give your feline friend as much or as little attention as they’d like. About: Hi my name is Patrice. I'm a veterinary technician who loves being with animals even outside of my normal work day. If I could I would adopt a million pets but unfortunately that's not an option. I take pride in being able to help care for pets outside of my own. There's nothing more fulfilling than being able to play with fur babies when the owners cannot do so because of work. I am able to provide exercise time, medication administration, ear cleaning, and basic grooming. If you are in need of any of the above services feel free to reach out to me. About: I am over the top when it comes to animals. I typically go above and beyond in play and in care. I love to groom them, go hiking or on extended walks and cuddle! I am currently a nursing student who is trying to make extra money so I can stop working during clinicals. Also I have a small child that I could always use extra money for! In my home pets will be in a shared space with toys and activities. I will walk pets every 4-6 hours and will groom both cats and dogs if i see fit (not full groom but wipe eyes, paws, etc) I also enjoy going to the park so if possible i would love to take them to a park near your home or my own

About: I've owned and cared for dogs and cats my whole life and this is the first time I'm without my own. I'm very good at feeling animals needs out and staying connected with them so that they feel as comfortable as possible in a new space. I currently work from home with an incredibly flexible schedule to walk and take your pets out as needed. For this reason I'm normally available seven days a week. About: When Covid started, I accidentally started my business by helping a couple people who adopted dogs outside of their care knowledge. Helping them with their working class dogs (pitbull, collie, and a GSP) and establish a better owner/pet relationship made me realize that this is the right move for my future. Since then I have started my own business as well as helping others with their new family member(s). No creature is too small or large for me. My smallest dog client is 3 pounds and the largest is 215. Aside from that I have expanded my practices with lizards, snakes, cats, and birds. Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime! I am home most of the day. I do part-time work in hospice as well as part-time classes; (I have a door bachelors degree already working towards a BSN). If you have a special needs animal, I am more than happy to comply with their schedule, I just need to know in advance as much as possible. I have a fenced in yard in the back (will have a fully fenced in yard by the end of August in the front). My dogs have a semi strict schedule of activities to keep them mentally/physically stimulated. I follow suit with everybody’s dog. Everybody eats in their own crate, is provided with soft bedding to sleep on in their own crate, but exercise thoroughly throughout the day.

About: Hi! I'm Elijah and I'd love to care for your dogs whether you're going on vacation or simply need a sitter for the day. As of August 2026, I finished nursing school and will be doing Rover full-time until I take my NCLEX test to officially become a licensed nurse! I have one dog of my own, a 9-year-old miniature schnauzer named Winston, along with two rabbits and a leopard gecko. My partner has two dogs of his own as well, a labrador named Nina and a shih-tzu mix named Lucky—both of them being seniors at ages 13 and 15! We live in a 2 bedroom house with a medium sized, fenced in backyard. I have gates and areas of the house that can easily be secluded if your pet would do better with limited access to other animals. I'm experienced with dogs of all ages ranging from puppies to seniors. Our dogs are all easy-going, surprisingly playful for their ages, and get along with other animals very well (although I'll still do introductions slowly and safely). Since graduating college, my schedule is quite literally free 24/7! As mentioned before, Rover will be my full-time job until I get to take my NCLEX and become a licensed nurse. This means your dog will have my full attention and rarely, if at all, be left alone! The animals in my home are left alone for very little time each week. If guest animals have to be left alone, I have gates along with two rooms I can secure the guest pet in if need be! If you utilize a crate, you can bring that as well for me to use if this is how your pet is normally kept while left alone.

About: Grew up with dogs. Haven’t had as many dogs as cats as they required more attention than cats and Rover didn’t exist when I was younger. I had 3 dogs in my young adult life over the course of 30 years. Currently we have a 9 year old pittie rescue and she is well cared for. I’m recently retired so my schedule is very flexible. Rover has made it possible for us to travel with peace of mind that our pets would be cared for. So I figured it would be a good fit as a retirement job and now I can give others the same peace of mind. The retired lifestyle has left me very flexible for going to people’s homes to help with their cat and dog maintenance while they travel. Currently not looking to offer in home services.

About: Pets have been in my life since I was a little kid. My family has always had a dog and I have a cat that I take care of like she’s my baby! I’ve always loved animals and being around fur babies. To me pets aren’t just animals you have they are an extension of your family! I work a part time job at the kenwood mall during the summer/seasonally and am a student at UC studying education in hopes of becoming a teacher! My availability is pretty flexible during the week Monday, Wednesday, Friday I only have one class from 11-12:10 so I will be readily available for virtually the entire day. Availability for Tuesday/ Thursday varies because my classes range from 11-2 which isn’t ideal for potty breaks or feedings but am able to negotiate if you have a specific situation that would fit my schedule on those two day. During the weekend im free whenever and can do mornings, overnight care, potty breaks, special feeding care, etc. While at home I let our dog out, give treats, feed, and clean the cat's littler box, feed the cat, replenish the water supply in their fountain, etc. I have a senior dog so playing isn’t in her cards anymore but I’m happy to sit with senior dogs and play with younger dogs. I also love walks and will take your pups for as long of a walk as you’d like. I even walk my cat in a pet stroller when the weather is nice!

I’ve had experience with dogs from day-old puppies, to blind dogs, to senior dogs who need help walking. When I am not at working, I spend time with my dog, Mitty. Our favorite thing to do together is go on runs. I would love to run your dog too! Not all dogs are able too, but the ones that can love it! That means I can offer consistent mid-morning, afternoon, or early evening walks, and I'm also able to accommodate last-minute requests or changes in timing without it being a scramble. If your schedule shifts week to week, I can usually adjust to match it. Safety is the first thing I think about with every walk. When I arrive, I double-check that all doors and gates are secure before I bring your dog out, and I make sure the leash and collar or harness are properly fitted before we leave — no slipping out mid-walk. I stick to routes I know well, avoid off-leash areas unless specifically asked, and keep a close eye on other dogs, traffic, and anything that could startle or spook your dog. I always carry water on hot days and adjust the pace or length of the walk based on weather and how your dog is doing that day. Before I leave, I make sure your home is exactly as I found it — doors locked, lights as they were, nothing out of place. If anything ever comes up during a walk, you'll hear from me right away, not after the fact.

When I dropped off the pups, they made sure they would do well in a new environment before leaving. HOWEVER, I felt comfortable with Chrissy from the start and was actually excited that Mr. Miyagi (the dog) got to stay someplace where I felt he'd be really cared for. And "cared for" Chrissy and family did! She sent me photos of him every other day and I got to see how normal life stayed for him while I was gone. Another reason I felt comfortable with Chrissy is that she has the vet tech background. Mr. Miyagi has allergies and can be a little high maintenance.
