About: I have a sweet beagle that was rescued 7 years ago. I am fully responsible for his care, including feeding, walking, bathing, nail trimming, etc. I always check him for ticks after visiting a park and know how to safely remove them. I enjoy going for long walks, especially in summer, so would be glad to give your dog exercise. My kids have had goats, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, and ducks, which are all fun to play with, and I would be glad to care for your less-typical pets, if needed. I have even cared for lizards and snakes. I am a teacher, so have loads of time available in the summer. During the school year, I am available most weekends and after 4 on weekdays. I always keep dogs on leash when walking them...you never know when a squirrel or other dog will come by or how they will react.

About: I am a true animal lover and if I could take home all the animals at the shelter, I would! I grew up with dogs and have dog sat for a handful of neighbor dogs. I have volunteered at animal shelters and am always willing to walk or sit for my friends or families' pets. I love all different sizes, shapes and breeds! About: Update June 1, 2026. I have taken a part-time job and right now I can only accept cat drop in requests . Unfortunately I can’t commit to dog walking because of this part-time job unless it’s on the weekend. I am answering as a pet owner. I am hoping to start working as a pet sitter/dog walker soon. As a kid we had birds and hamsters, then graduated to cats when I was about 14. As a young adult I usually had up to 4 cats at the same time. When my kids were in high school, my husband introduced me to dogs by re-homing a dog named Lucy. We still have her. I had never had dogs before but I am so glad I did not say NO to hubby at the time. We have 2 dogs now but no cats. I do miss having cats and hope to again some day. I left my job of 34 years and would love to do something I have been wanting to do for a long time but never got around to. I am happy to care for cats too! At my house we have invisible fence to keep the dogs from leaving the yard, though our younger dog needs to be on a long lead because he is so excitable and cannot always be trusted to stay in the yard. About: I've had dogs off and on my entire life but it wasn't until we adopted our baby girl Coco that I really fell in love. We had 13.5 wonderful years with her, then after she passed we decided to foster dogs in her honor and have been doing this since Sept. 2020 with several local organizations. We have fostered 25 dogs and have sat 26 dogs to date, including puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with behavioral and medical special needs. About: Hi! I’ve been a dog lover my whole life and have rescued many dogs over the years. I also grew up with dogs during my childhood. The last six we’ve owned have been rescues. I'm looking for part-time work doing some type of care for other's dogs, whether it be caring for them in their own home while the family is on vacation or letting them out during the day while the owner works. I'm available most days for overnight stays (based on availability) and most days for walks and drop-in visits, if they need to be let out or just played with for a while. I now own two small dogs. They are a Cavachon that we got at the age of 8 weeks and a Yorkie mix we adopted when he was 3. The Cavachon’s name is Cooper and in 2025 he turned 4. He was a breeder surrender because he wasn’t “perfect,” meaning he was born without his right front paw. He gets around fine and loves other dogs and people. The second little guy is Boomer, a Yorkie mix who is 4 now. They are both dog and people friendly. I'm hoping to share my love for dogs with others who need help caring for theirs. I’m very allergic to cats so I can’t help with them. Small dogs only. I have experience giving medications and also giving insulin shots, because one of my dogs was diabetic. About: I live in an apartment at Kent State and am back and forth from Solon in the summer! My dog at my parents home is very reactive and we have been with many trainers to calm him down. I am primarily looking to walk dogs, but I could dog sit over night at the client's house in a pinch.
About: I have four years of experience with consistent pet-sitting. I am a teacher during the school year, so I am responsible, caring, and pay close attention to detail. I currently am a full-time teacher during the school year from 7:30-3. However, I am available after 3 PM and all day on the weekends. I am very interactive with pets and love to play with them! I also love to go on walks and am very active, so I love active pets! I am incredibly responsible and want the best care for your pet, so I am careful to follow all instructions and take care of your home as well.

“Mike and his family (2-legged and 4-legged) are wonderful. It was my first experience using Rover and Mike is a wonderful representative for your company. They cared for my new rescue Ronnie who is very timid. Mike has a wonderful fenced-in backyard where Ronnie enjoyed romping with Mike's dogs Pickle and Snoopy his home is very dog-friendly, comfortable, and cozy and Ronnie made himself right at home. I received daily photos which gave me the reassurance that Ronnie was enjoying wonderful care. I even remarked to Mike that I hoped Ronnie would want to come home with me.
