“Brendan was a great sitter, Romeo, was happy and well cared for. Romeo has separation anxiety and Branden was very patient and waited him out until he calmed down and was calm the rest of his stay. Thank you Branden!”

“This was our first time using Rover and Nicole and her family was absolutely wonderful. We loved the videos and photos. It gave us such peace of mind knowing that Bella was well loved and was having a great time while we were away for the week.”

“Misty was phenomenal with our dog Samson. He's a big dog and she walked him, she cared for him she took pictures of him. Wow, I was so impressed and felt so comfortable her. Misty's children loved on him. It was a beautiful experience and I will definitely use her as many times as I can!”

“Patrica is THE BEST. We’ve left our little guy with her several times. She takes him on lots of walks every day and sends lots of pictures and video updates. Apollo is always excited to hang out with his buddies (her other dogs)”

“Our senior Black Lab Brody feels right at home with Michael and Annie. We never worry as he feels that they are his "second home." They take great care of him, give him lots of baby carrots as treats, take nice, long walks, and place yoga mats on slippery surfaces for him. He just had another great visit with them!”

“Our pup Lily looked very comfortable at Gabes place. She is a nervous pup to begin with so it was a relief to see her at ease. I also appreciated the text update with pucture. Thank you Gabe!”

“She always takes great care of our senior pup! April is a wonderful caretaker that we’ve been using for our dog for several years now. We appreciate having someone we can trust when we leave and know our girl is in good hands!”
“Kanika and Jan were great! They sent updates frequently and have been so understanding and accommodating with my schedule. Will continue booking with them in the future, I highly recommend them! They also administered medication to my dog when he was sick. They are awesome!!”

“Chrissy was great, and I will definitely plan on using her again. She took good care of my dogs, let me know how they were doing, and was quite timely in getting back to me when I had a question during their stay!”

“Amanda was wonderful with our dog! I hope to use her again in the future because she sent me updates and I could see that my dog was safe and happy which made me happy. This was my first experience using Rover.com and I'm so glad that I gave it a try -- especially because of the great care given by Amanda. My dog seemed to respond much better with the in home experience as opposed to the regular dog boarding places -- like a home away from home. Thanks again Amanda!!!!”

“Jenna and her family provided our 17m oGolden retriever with best care when we go away for weekends or weeks. Coco loves going to their house! We trust Jenna with Coco’s safety and well-being while we are gone. Recommend her highly!”

“I liked Chloe the minute I met her. She came over for a pre visit to meet my cats and learn about their routine. Ava and Tucker warmed up to her right away and I knew they would be in good hands. Chloe arrived on schedule for four mornings and five evenings to feed, play with and attend the litter box. When I arrived home from my trip, the house was in order, and everything looked as I left it. I’ll definitely request Chloe again. 🏠😸👍🏻👍🏻”

“Oli was a great house sitter and companion for our senior cat Tigger. She is reliable, trustworthy, and kept us updated each day so we wouldn’t worry. She kept the plants and flowers watered, and the house was clean and neat when we got home. We will definitely use her again, and highly recommend her. Thanks Oli!”
“I recently moved to Ohio and needed to find a new pet sitter. This process has always been so stressful, needing a person my pets liked and I trusted. I lucked out when I found Cheryl! She is a true animal lover who is professional, trustworthy and genuinely kind. I can’t recommend her enough!”

“I can’t recommend Cora enough! She and her family welcomed Hermes with such warmth and love. Her home was the perfect cat oasis, with cozy spots, toys, and plenty of attention. We received regular updates, and when we returned, our cat was happy, calm, and well-cared for. Truly a wonderful experience—your pets will be in great hands!”

“Constance was professional and very descriptive in her messages. She took great pictures of my cat, even if he wouldn’t let her pet him ? You can tell she really cares about animals and I highly recommend her to anyone!”

“Amber fed our two cats once per day for a few days. One of my cats loved her (she loves everyone), and the other one was just observing! We hope to use Amber's cat-watching services again in the future.”

“Jeffrey provided excellent care for Quincy! We really appreciated the detailed updates and photos from his drop in visits! Jeffrey is very reliable and it was reassuring to know our kitty was in good hands while we were traveling!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter than Brooklyn for our first Rover experience! Our cat was so well cared for while we were away, and we loved getting regular photo updates and sweet notes throughout the week. It was clear she took the time to really connect with our cat, even getting her to play with toys she hasn’t touched in ages! We came home to a happy pet and a spotless home, which made the return so much more relaxing. Truly above and beyond. We’d absolutely book with her again!”

“Kelsey is our go to. So reliable and takes time to not only care for our kitties but love on them as well! We have one that is extremely shy and Kelsey won her over quickly. Highly recommend.”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. In college, my sister and I rescued a dog together and shared custody, which was such a special experience. Loona had been taken from her mom at just a couple weeks old, so I learned early on how important patience, consistency, and lots of love really are. I’ve been around dogs with all kinds of personalities and backgrounds, and I love getting to know each one and learning what makes them unique. I’ve volunteered at animal shelters, been dog sitting since I could drive, and grew up in a family that always had at least one dog in the house. Caring for dogs doesn’t feel like work to me, it’s something I genuinely love doing! I work 8–4:30 during the week, but since I work from home, I have plenty of flexibility to take short breaks for visits. Evenings are preferred, but I’m happy to work around schedules if needed. I care for pets in their own home, where they’re most comfortable and safe. I’m very respectful of your space and routines — having worked as a nanny for many years, I understand the importance of keeping a home tidy, following instructions, and leaving everything in great shape. My goal is always to make sure your pets are happy, cared for, and that your home is exactly as you left it… or even better!

About: I’ve grown up with dogs. I got my dog in college and have been dedicated to his care no matter what. Through moves and full time jobs, he has always been #1. He is a senior now and needs a little extra attention in regards to mobility, so I am comfortable with that. When he was younger he had BOUNDLESS energy as well and was eager to please. I’ve seen both sides and love them and all the traits in between Pet care is a 24/7 deal. They give us unconditional love so we should always be dedicating ourselves to the same. Daily walks, exercise and for sniffing are both beneficial and also just someone to sit by and patrol the neighborhood I care for pets how their owners would because that’s what will make the dog the most comfortable with a new person in their environment. I will always follow the clients routines and expectations

About: I've had at least two dogs my entire life. I've cared for puppies through adult dogs. I have even cared for some with special needs. When your dog stays with me, you also get my whole family to care for them. I'm a stay at home mom and I have plenty of time to care for your baby. I can be with your dog at all times. I have a fenced in yard and three dogs who would love to play and snuggle. I will also walk your dog if you'd like.
“Parisa took great care of my German Shepard. She provided plenty of exercise for him in her shaded backyard. He came home worn out every day which tells me that he had a great day with her. She also provided daily photos and updates via text. She is friendly and loved our dog while he was in her care.”

About: I've taken care of my family dog for 6 years, and I also was entrusted with my friends and family's dogs since I was 9. Currently, I am doing volunteer work and shadowing physicians as I am home for the summer from college. I am available majority of the week and weekends. I make sure to let our animals have their separate spaces for when they are in need of a rest. They also have fulltime access to food and water, and I have a fenced in yard with enough room to run around. In a client's home I will make sure your pet has food, water, and a clean place to go to the bathroom. I will ensure they are mentally stimulated with plenty of play time and cuddle time.
About: I’ve been involved with dog rescue for many years. I worked with virtually every type of dog there is. From shy, timid to very high energy. I’ve had dogs that had aggression issues. I worked with dogs on leash training, housebreaking, and socialization. I am retired. I have nothing but time on my hands! I volunteer Thursday mornings at an equine therapy barn. But I will still have time to take care of animals on Thursdays. I am open to caring for dogs in my home. But! They have to be dog and cat friendly. I would prefer not to have younger dogs, only because my dogs are older and don’t like young dogs, jumping all over them. My dogs are very dog friendly though. My cats are very dog friendly. In fact, they prefer dogs over our cats!

“David was great with Myles. He is already going to potty outside after just a week of training with David. I can already see a difference with his behavior and his separation anxiety and also the way he interacts with other dogs. His personality is starting to shine now. I think after a few more weeks of training Myles is going to be in great shape.”

About: Hi there! I’m Andrew—a lifelong animal lover with a big heart and an even bigger soft spot for furry friends. Whether it’s going on walks, giving belly rubs, or just keeping your pet company while you’re away, I’m here to make sure your pets feel safe, happy, and loved. I’m dependable, patient, and always treat every animal like family. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your beloved pet, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I’ll follow your care instructions closely and keep you updated with pics and messages so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. Whether you have a playful pup, a chill senior, or a shy kitty—I’d be honored to care for them like they’re my own. Let’s connect—I’d love to meet you and your furry companion! Pet care is a natural and fulfilling part of my daily life. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets my full attention throughout the day. I build in time for morning and evening walks, play sessions, feeding routines, and any special care your pet may need. Whether it’s a quick drop-in or extended sitting, I’m able to adapt my routine to fit your pet’s needs and keep them comfortable, happy, and loved. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I do everything I can to maintain their normal routine and create a stress-free environment. I follow your instructions closely—whether that’s feeding schedules, walk times, medication, or bedtime routines—and I take the time to learn your pet’s personality, preferences, and quirks. I always treat your home with respect, keep things clean, and make sure your pet feels safe and loved while you're away. If I’m providing care in my own home (depending on the service), I offer a calm, pet-friendly space with plenty of attention, affection, and playtime. I make sure pets are never left alone for long periods, and I keep a close eye on their behavior, comfort, and health throughout their stay. In both settings, communication is key—I’ll keep you updated with regular messages, photos, and videos so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands.
“Beka and Ryan cared for my Cavapoo Tino for a second time on short notice. Tino happily went inside when he was dropped off for his second day. He was also happy and content when he was picked up. Communication with Beka was great. I would use Beka and Ryan again.”

About: I have loved animals ever since I was born. They are my favorite thing in life. I will treat your animal with the most love I can offer. I’m more of a stay-at-home person, so when I am committed to watching your pet, they will be well taken care of while in my care. I have a fenced in yard and lots of space for a dog to play in! I have 2 cats but they are very antisocial and won’t be a problem. I’m also a quick learner and a natural when it comes to pet care!
About: Hi my name is Patrice. I'm a veterinary technician who loves being with animals even outside of my normal work day. If I could I would adopt a million pets but unfortunately that's not an option. I take pride in being able to help care for pets outside of my own. There's nothing more fulfilling than being able to play with fur babies when the owners cannot do so because of work. I am able to provide exercise time, medication administration, ear cleaning, and basic grooming. If you are in need of any of the above services feel free to reach out to me. I would love to get to know you and your fur babies and develop a life long bond. Pet care fits into my daily routine perfectly. I'm always with pets even in my dreams. Rather I am walking pets or meeting up for grooming appointments, I'm always with pets. I get a background of the pets home life and mimic that while they are with me. Routine works best with most pets. When you switch up what they are used to they do not do well.
“Joe and Laurie were awesome with our German Shepard. They provided lots of exercise (walks and playing ball in their backyard) and TLC. They also provided several photos during the day. I highly recommend them to other dog owners.”

We take our dogs camping, hiking, and kayaking and they love it. I am a homeschool mom of teenagers. This means I am flexible on my time and availability. We are home a lot, so your pets are not left alone long. I have a fenced-in yard, and I can attend to almost anything your pets would need or the client would like me to do to care for their pet.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I currently have a cat and a 3 year old pit/cattle dog mix. I have owned multiple dogs over the years, including reactive dogs, which gave me hands on experience with different personalities, behaviors, and needs. I worked closely with a professional trainer in the past and gained a lot of confidence in handling and understanding dogs of all kinds. Because my entire family has dogs, I’m constantly around animals and genuinely love spending time caring for them. I understand that every pet is different and that some are energetic and social, while others need patience, structure, and a calm approach. Whether your pet loves playtime, walks, cuddles, or just having a comforting presence around, I’ll make sure they feel safe, cared for, and loved while you’re away! I currently work full time Monday-Friday from 7-4, however I am fully remote and my job is relatively flexible. Working from home makes life easy as I can take time on my lunch break to do a quick walk or drop in with your fur babies. I’m also available before 7am and after 4pm on weekdays and available on the weekends. I do get bank holidays off and a decent amount of PTO which allows even more flexibility 🙂 While I’d love to welcome every pet into my home, I have a reactive dog of my own, so I currently only offer care in clients’ homes through drop ins, walks, and house sitting. The safety and comfort of your pets and mine will always come first 💕
About: I'm a freelance animation writer and dog lover who has had dogs his entire life and enjoys walking and sitting his friend's dogs. Now I'm looking to walk and sit even more dogs to supplement my writing income while also taking advantage of my extremely flexible schedule. I'm very patient, attentive and affectionate with dogs. When I walk, my attention is on the dogs (not my phone) and when I dog sit, I treat your home how I'd like my home to be treated if someone was staying there (i.e. not really wandering around and/or touching stuff, ha) and again, all attention is on the dog. Otherwise, I'll just be writing away on my scripts. I absolutely love dogs and have raise several from puppies. This is also an outlet for me after the passing of a beloved elderly dog that I had since she was a puppy. I'd be happy to take excellent care of your dogs.

“Elle has walked our dogs for the last few weeks. She was responsive and punctual from the start. She also takes great care of them on their walks. Highly recommend. Great service and attitude!”

About: I absolutely adore animals and have never lived a life without them. I adopted my very own sweet dog Sage at 18 (as soon as I was old enough) and she has been the light of my life. She has taught me a lot of patience and responsibility at a young age. She is definitely a wild girl but I wouldn’t trade her for the world! Since I have a dog I am pretty used to all of the craziness that comes with them like leash pulling, weird eating habits, mess, and of course slobber! I currently nanny from 9:00-5:00 Tuesday through Thursday so I am try to find something to fill that Friday-Monday gap! As I spend those days walking and caring for my own pup I figured I might as well look to see if I can help others! I am a very alert person when it comes to my dog as she is very shy and scared around certain things so I would have course be the same with anyone else’s dog! I would never want to put someone else’s baby in harms way so I am very cautious.

If I am needed on an hourly basis, let me know two weeks beforehand so I can schedule time off work. I can stay overnight at your house if needed I will not bring your pets over to my home because my own dog is unsure about other animals. I like to stay with the animals for two hours each time I check in on them to keep them company and to play with them. I can also stay overnight and all day if needed.
About: I provide dependable, personalized care with the added benefit of pre-veterinary experience, giving me a strong understanding of animal behavior, health, and safety. I treat every dog like my own and focus on creating a calm, loving environment where pets feel comfortable, cared for, and happy while you’re away. I'm a recent college graduate available full-time for the summer! I'd love to hang out with your beloved, four-legged friends during the week and/or weekends. I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. In my clients’ homes, I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, and any special instructions. I also make sure pets feel secure through patience, positive interaction, and plenty of supervision, while always respecting the client’s home and keeping communication open with regular updates and photos.
“My dog Loki couldn’t have had a happier look on his face after his walk with Oli. Oli was very kind, understanding and handled our dog very well. Loki is not the easiest dog for a walk as everything needs to be his friend. Very professional service.”

“Misty was phenomenal with our dog Samson. He's a big dog and she walked him, she cared for him she took pictures of him. Wow, I was so impressed and felt so comfortable her. Misty's children loved on him. It was a beautiful experience and I will definitely use her as many times as I can!”

“I would use Aparajita again in the future. She treated my baby like one of her own, even talking care of his itchy paws. I was constantly updated with pictures and messages that explained what they did that day and how she treated the itch. I had a worry free vacation because of her.”

“Rachel and Nicholas were fantastic! They kept great communication and sent frequent pictures. Our dog, Tusk, got to play with their dogs and outside and was worn out when we picked him up.”

“We couldn’t have found a better person to care for our German Shepherd. Karen was amazing and gave us updates and was very accommodating due to issues on my end. Thank you Karen!!”

“Katie did such a great job watching Reggie while my husband and I were out of town for a few days! We received plenty of updates and could tell he was well taken care of when we picked him up. Will definitely be using Katie again!”

“Lisa was very good in handling oscar and socializing with her pets and regular boarders. She went out of the way to socialize her boarders with Oscar. She is very responsive and responsible. She bailed me out at the last moment which helped me and my family to go on an unplanned vacation.”

“Sandy did a great job with my Bonnie! I had to contact Sandy last minute during a trip to NC because the hotel I was staying in did not allow pets. Bonnie left with extra treats and toys and did not want to leave when I picked her up. I will use Sandy again if I ever travel through Cincinnati!”

“I would definitely use Caitlin again as a place to board my dog Millie! Millie took to Caitlin at our first meet and greet, and acted like she belonged there. Caitlin sent multiple pictures and updates, and was very prompt answering any question I had. Millie came home a happy and healthy dog!”
