Before working for Rover, I would travel from Toledo, Ohio to Hamilton/Fairfield which is estimately a 3 hour drive without a problem to dog sit for my sister and I absolutely enjoyed doing it. According to relocating, now I live in Middletown Ohio and working toward starting a dog sitting businesss. About: I currently work as a veterinary technician and have been in the veterinary medicine field for six years. Growing up, I had a feisty miniature dachshund and a goofy golden retriever. When I moved out, I got my own dynamic duo over the years- a chihuahua mix (Brulee- like the dessert crème Brulee) and three years later an Australian shepherd mix (muffin). Brulee was a very opinionated and particular girl while muffin is a gentle soul and afraid of her own shadow. I love taking dogs on walks and hikes, allowing them to set the tone and pace- if they want to speed walk, we can do that or if they want to take a leisurely stroll sniffing every blade of grass that is fine too. I will keep your dog leashed the entire time we are out of the house, unless we are in an enclosed backyard. I do not take dogs to dog parks, unless have a well-established recall and if you request me to. However your pet wants to play, I am game- we can play ball, tug of war, hide and seek, or treat puzzles- whatever gets them excited! I am happy to medicate and feed your pet as needed. I prefer to meet you and your fur baby beforehand to ensure safety and it is a good fit! I currently work from home full time and pick up shifts at clinics when I can. “Simba had a great first night stay with Kiersten! He got along well with her 2 dogs and came hope nice and tired! Kiersten is super! She asked lots of questions and made sure she knew how Simba was and made sure I was comfortable with what she had planned while Simba was there. She sent pics throughout the day and treated him like her own! Simba will be going back next week for a longer stay as I know he will be happy at Kiersten’s!”

“Jennifer took absolutely wonderful care of Ivy over Christmas! She took Ivy on a wonderful 10 mile walk with her own dogs and gave her a peanut butter bone as a treat. Ivy came home tired and very happy which is a sign of a very spoiled and happy dog who had so much fun while on "vacation".”

“Tasha & Joseph were able to watch my big bernedoodle for two weeks over the winter holidays and new year, not to mention during a pandemic. They sent photo updates daily and no holiday upcharge or anything (not sure if that's a thing? But they didn't!) which I was very appreciative of. I also love that they have their own dogs so I know that mine got plenty of play in, which she's very fond of. I would certainly recommend them for long or weekend trips alike.”
