About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and have been pet-sitting since age 10 for family, friends, and neighbors. I have almost always lived with at least one cat or dog (or both!) throughout my life. I also have experience caring for rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, fish, parakeets, bearded dragons, and cockatiels. I currently live with two indoor tortoiseshell cats who are comfortable with dogs, and one of my cats is leash-trained. I have raised and trained at least 11 dogs from puppies to adulthood (3 as my own and the others for my parents). Most of my cats I adopted as teenagers, but I have raised a few kittens from a young age. I have done extensive dog training with the 3 dogs I raised as my own in the past, and I am familiar with both dog and cat training techniques. I live in a cabin the woods in Boston, NY, on a power line gravel road. Although I do not have a fenced in back yard, your dog will enjoy going on leashed walks down the power line road multiple times per day! I earn a living through a mix of substitute teaching (summer starts June 25th!), remote research and writing gigs, tutoring, child care, and pet care. I have a flexible schedule and incorporate pet care into the mix as much as possible because I love animals. If I am boarding a dog at my home, I will not be house sitting at that time (and vice versa). While boarding or house sitting, I will consider dog walking and drop-ins depending on the needs of the client and driving distance. If you board your dog at my home, my cats and I wake up early (about 6am) and I like to go outside for a walk down the power line road right away, and then eat breakfast. Your dog will be able to spend time with me all day (on a leash when we are outside), and if I need to leave my house, they will be in their crate for no more than 4 hours (2 is my strong preference). We will go for at least one more walk before dinner, too. I will be sure to give them plenty of play time and exercise throughout the day (depending on their level of activity and how hot it is outside). No matter what, they will get a lot of love and attention! I live in a cabin in the woods in the Town of Boston, NY, so although I do not have a fenced-in yard, there is very little traffic or people around. I will be able to go on long leashed walks with your dog down the power line for exercise, and there are a few friendly neighbor dogs that would love to say hello if your dog is up for that. I do live with two cats: one of them will hide a lot while your dog is here, but the other is very dog-friendly and will want to interact with your dog. I will monitor and separate them as needed (I have a spare room). I have always crate-trained my dogs and so long as your dog is comfortable in their crate, I will use it as a safe place for them to be while they are staying with me.

About: I was raised on a small family farm, and have cared for goats, chickens, ducks, pigs, and more while a part of that. As a child and teenager, I trained dogs through my local 4-H program, and later on started petsitting for family friends. I've cared for puppies, senior dogs, cats, chickens, cows, pigs, goats, turtles, geese, canaries, ducks, and so many others, and I'm always willing to learn something new! I work full-time, night shifts during the week and mornings on weekends, but I'm typically only gone 8 hours max, so there's still plenty of time for me to provide plenty of care and attention to the pets! I typically stay overnight, and will either crate the pets if needed, or let them sleep with me, I wake up with them and spend my day hanging out with them, playing or just relaxing. I do my best to care for each pet as their owner would, to help minimize stress.
About: I’ve always had cats around and have taken care of strays and making sure they always got the love and food they needed! I’ve recently started to help take care of family and friends cats and have researched and learned a lot of things. I love to give my kitty friends space when they need it and all the love and snuggles. I love deep cleaning litter boxes to make sure that they have a clean place to go potty. I also enjoy brushing cats and am very good at getting their nails clipped, even if they’re grumpy!

I moved to Collins in 2024 to a property with 30 acres of mostly wooded land with a dog kennel, cat house and barn! The property has a huge area for dogs to run and play. We are working on repairing a huge fenced in area right now, so we would walk around the property on a leash always. I have woods and trails on my property that I love to take walks through. About: Growing up my parents got a dog for every child they had and theirs four of us. Ive been in love with dogs since I could remember my first pup ever!! I did spend a year as a bather at Petsmart best job ever so I have no problem with giving your fur babies a nice wash, I’m not much of a runner but I do take my dog on the bike path and I’ll ride while he runs until he’s tired then we’ll both walk back. I love all animals as if they’re mines I get emotionally attached at first site and love and care for them like they are my forever babies. I do currently work full time but I am very flexible with my hrs and will always be willing to work around your schedule to be with your fur family. I have only trained 2 dogs in my entire life and only got as far as sit right and left paw stay walk and run. I will always have a huge heart for any animal including yours!! Natalie took the time to come learn how to administer all of the medications so my cat could stay at home and be comfortable while I was away. Natalie arrived promptly each time and spent time to make sure everything was perfect. I had a fairly large checklist of items that needed to be done daily and Natalie took care of everything exactly the way I asked. This was the first time having someone come to my home to take care of my pet; however, Natalie went above and beyond to make sure everything went perfect while I was away, even bringing in my mail! On my lunch we always take a walk usually about 2 miles and Genny get plenty of potty breaks and outdoors time! About: Albeit having no years of 'professional' caring, I have been a dog and cat mom all of my life. Since I was born my family has had 2-3 dogs and 5-6 cats at a time on our farm, and I raised, trained and took care of all of them myself since my parents were not too big on animals. The sole reason we had so many is because we lived on a farm and I adored them. Every year of my life I have cared for at least one animal or another, ever since I was in grade school. For cats and dogs alike, I myself used to bathe them, feed them, groom them and take them to the vet if they were sick. As of right now, I have no animals to look after, so I would love to put those skills to good use. This being said, I have ample experience with animals, and I adore them. I have babysat animals for my friends several times, always without incident. I understand their signs and needs, have plenty of patience and can be gentle but firm when needed. I treat them as if they were my own children. I am also a trained emergency service medical provider, so I know how to perform first aid and lifesaving measures if need be (not that it will ever be needed, don't worry!). I am flexible with the services I provide: if your pet has any special needs/medications that they need to take/any sicknesses, or anything else, inform me and I will be happy to babysit for them and care for them for as long as you need! Some of the services I can provide include but are not limited to: bathing, walking, training, and cuddling! I will treat your babies with love and kindness while you're away! Rest assured, they will be in good, trained hands. I currently work from home, and would have no problem going on walks or playing games such as fetch to tire out high energy dogs! I already have a daily routine with my own dog, which consists of taking him on regular potty breaks, brushing his teeth, and playing games to tire him out if its too cold to go on walks outside! We have a yard thats not fenced in, but have lines and long leashes to take your fur baby outside! There is one senior dog, one younger dog, and to cats all to give company to your pet! Both dogs are very friendly, and the cats mostly keep to themselves in the room. The dogs will always be in my sight, so that we can hang out, play, and I can tend to their needs! There are plenty of toys to share, plenty of treats to go around (unless stated otherwise) and plenty of friends to play with.

About: I have had dogs and cats, and taken care of other small animals for my family for years. I understand the bond of families with their animals and respect that! I am retired from full time work, but do participate in volunteer activity. A part time role of caring for your pet as needed will best fit my schedule. Or providing in home care for your pet while you travel will work as well. I am happy to come and take care of your pets in your home, where they are comfortable in their own environment. I respect the pet owners preferences on how best to care for their beloved pet.

About: Growing up I’ve always had a pet, whether it was a dog, cat, bearded dragon, hamster, bunny, horses, chickens, etc. The past experience I have is from ages 6 weeks-18years old. I’m up for any task and have no trouble walking dogs who pull. I use a harness for one of my dogs and he is always comfortable walking with me. I currently work full-time but have a flexible schedule. I have three dogs and 2 cats of my own but have help with them. Can always adjust schedule as needed. About: I have a lot of experience with all kinds of animals, from dogs to hamsters to creased geckos. My dog cookie is one of the most kind, loving animals, along with my hedgehogs. About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and have been pet-sitting since age 10 for family, friends, and neighbors. I have almost always lived with at least one cat or dog (or both!) throughout my life. I also have experience caring for rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, fish, parakeets, bearded dragons, and cockatiels. I currently live with two indoor tortoiseshell cats who are comfortable with dogs, and one of my cats is leash-trained. I have raised and trained at least 11 dogs from puppies to adulthood (3 as my own and the others for my parents). Most of my cats I adopted as teenagers, but I have raised a few kittens from a young age. I have done extensive dog training with the 3 dogs I raised as my own in the past, and I am familiar with both dog and cat training techniques. I live in a cabin the woods in Boston, NY, on a power line gravel road. Although I do not have a fenced in back yard, your dog will enjoy going on leashed walks down the power line road multiple times per day! I earn a living through a mix of substitute teaching (summer starts June 25th!), remote research and writing gigs, tutoring, child care, and pet care. I have a flexible schedule and incorporate pet care into the mix as much as possible because I love animals. If I am boarding a dog at my home, I will not be house sitting at that time (and vice versa). While boarding or house sitting, I will consider dog walking and drop-ins depending on the needs of the client and driving distance. If you board your dog at my home, my cats and I wake up early (about 6am) and I like to go outside for a walk down the power line road right away, and then eat breakfast. Your dog will be able to spend time with me all day (on a leash when we are outside), and if I need to leave my house, they will be in their crate for no more than 4 hours (2 is my strong preference). We will go for at least one more walk before dinner, too. I will be sure to give them plenty of play time and exercise throughout the day (depending on their level of activity and how hot it is outside). No matter what, they will get a lot of love and attention! I live in a cabin in the woods in the Town of Boston, NY, so although I do not have a fenced-in yard, there is very little traffic or people around. I will be able to go on long leashed walks with your dog down the power line for exercise, and there are a few friendly neighbor dogs that would love to say hello if your dog is up for that. I do live with two cats: one of them will hide a lot while your dog is here, but the other is very dog-friendly and will want to interact with your dog. I will monitor and separate them as needed (I have a spare room). I have always crate-trained my dogs and so long as your dog is comfortable in their crate, I will use it as a safe place for them to be while they are staying with me.
