We could see from the first interaction that she would be kind to our dog, as she immediately got down and gave her hand to the dog to sniff and then pet her. She has a daughter with a sweet and gentle personality, who kindly shared her own blanket with the dog to make the dog feel more comfortable. Yessenia‘s husband was friendly and pleasant as well. Yessenia sent us multiple pictures and updates over the weekend while she watched the dog. Though we brought some supplies, she was also prepared with her own if necessary. Furthermore, since Yesenia had already experienced life with a senior dog, she offered us some suggestions that might help with our pup. Our Rusty had never been cared for by a stranger up to this point. It was hard for us to leave her. About: I have been living with a dog (at one time with 3) since 2010. We recently said goodbye to our lab/retriever mix and are not quite yet ready to adopt a dog again but we miss having a dog around. About: For quite a few years I’ve taken care of dogs for family members, families all over Long Island and never disappointed! I’ve loved dogs all my life and still do. They’re honestly like family to me and I always treat my family with care, respect and love which is what a dog needs. I strictly follow your specific instructions, maintaining your pup's established feeding, walking, and crate routines to keep their anxiety low. I am incredibly mindful of home security—making sure doors and gates are always locked—and I will keep you updated with plenty of photos so you know both your dog and your home are in excellent hands.
About: I have cared for animals ever since I was a little girl, have always had a dog in the house and would walk our neighbors dogs for fun every day. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, guinea pigs, lizards etc. I am currently at stay at home mom for my 2 young daughters. I’m looking to make some extra money and play with as many dogs as possible with a my free time. We have a fenced in yard large enough for all types of dogs to run and play in. We also have double gates for extra safety in the yard. Inside the house we have gates set up to block off the livingroom where we can limit your dog from having access to the front door when people are entering and exiting the home. We also have a guest room that can be used if your pet gets overwhelmed or nervous and needs some alone or quiet time

I boarded my 7 year old pit mix for several days and he felt right at home immediately.
