About: Hi there.. I have always owned a dog in my life. I have worked at an animal shelter for 2 1/2 years taking care of the dogs. I have been around most breeds and personality types. I am calm and patient around dogs and know how to read their body language. But I also love to be goofy and playful with them when the environment is right. I believe every dog is an individual and what might work for one dog won’t always work for another. I have some dog training under my belt from working with other trainers and taking classes but I’m not certified yet. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out! I am currently working part time at an animal shelter so I have plenty of time to dedicate to working with your pups! I currently only offer dog walking and stop ins but will eventually start boarding. I currently don’t offer boarding but I will eventually! About: When I was a little girl, I read the warrior cat series and fell in love with cats. I decided I had to have one. It took me over two years to convince my parents, but once I got my first (a five year that had been abandoned at the shelter on Christmas) I was hooked. I love every cat, not just my own. Eventually even the most aloof, unfriendly, feral old curmudgeon of a kitty has my respect. I will never force a cat that doesn't want to be bothered to give me attention. That said, I'm very good at doing towel burritos around them if they do need to get a nail trimming or insulin injection. I love to play with them and find new ways to give them enrichment. I really believe cats deserve the attention and commitment dogs do.

If your pup is high energy and my schedule is open I’m available to play with them, find a park or take them for a walk to give them enrichment. At all times she was communicative, caring and purposeful in her interactions with Hygge, who probably worried about being in a new home away from home for a few days on many levels. My transportation plans were delayed due to a severe storm that prevented my scheduled pick up, and Andrea was patient, reasonable and loving during my own stress about being stuck in NYC beyond my control for the pick up of my dog after traveling for a few days. She worked with me every step of the way, and the boarding experience was a total success even with transportation issues.
