“I wanted to give the highest recommendation to Volha as a dog-sitter! My 1.5 year old pitbull mix stayed with Volha and her family for 3 nights (3.5 days.) I have to admit, this being my first time using the service, I was a bit nervous. Not because I do not trust Rover, but because my dog in particular is very timid, shy, and can be very introverted - so I did not know how she would take to being left for days with strangers (except for meeting Volha in the park for a few minutes a few days before.) It turns out i had nothing to worry about! She immediately took to the family and stayed on a normal behavioral and sleep schedule and seems to have had a great time. For reference, in the past, even when my dog would stay WITH me but I would take her out of town for a couple of days, she would act a bit strange after being knocked out of her normal routine. (Nothing super out of the ordinary - but she would, for example, go hide in the bathroom for a few hours and generally act very despondent.) My point is - whatever Volha and her family are doing is great! My dog came back happy, healthy, and energetic. In terms Volha's communication style, she sent me several pictures and written updates during the days when I was gone, going out of her way to be in touch and asking the extra questions to make sure that everything was okay. Pending availability, I definitely plan to work with Volha again!”

About: I grew up on a dairy farm with all sorts of animals around. I have had many dogs, cats, parrots, chickens, rabbits, rats, and horses over the years. About: I have worked at a veterinary hospital for 7years and I have run my own petsitting on the side for 4 years. I am experienced with all kinds of animals (exotics, farm animals, seniors, pets with behavioral quirks etc) I am able to administer medication and can handle pets with more care requirements than usual. I am a student at SUNY Oswego so during the week I do have classes but I am more than able to balance both and I am open to figuring out what works best for you and your pet(s). I take care of your pet like it’s my own. I’ve had plenty of experience both in a veterinary hospital and as a pet sitter, so your pets are in good hands :)

“I wanted to give the highest recommendation to Volha as a dog-sitter! My 1.5 year old pitbull mix stayed with Volha and her family for 3 nights (3.5 days.) I have to admit, this being my first time using the service, I was a bit nervous. Not because I do not trust Rover, but because my dog in particular is very timid, shy, and can be very introverted - so I did not know how she would take to being left for days with strangers (except for meeting Volha in the park for a few minutes a few days before.) It turns out i had nothing to worry about! She immediately took to the family and stayed on a normal behavioral and sleep schedule and seems to have had a great time. For reference, in the past, even when my dog would stay WITH me but I would take her out of town for a couple of days, she would act a bit strange after being knocked out of her normal routine. (Nothing super out of the ordinary - but she would, for example, go hide in the bathroom for a few hours and generally act very despondent.) My point is - whatever Volha and her family are doing is great! My dog came back happy, healthy, and energetic. In terms Volha's communication style, she sent me several pictures and written updates during the days when I was gone, going out of her way to be in touch and asking the extra questions to make sure that everything was okay. Pending availability, I definitely plan to work with Volha again!”
“Gretchen is wonderful. She took great care of our 2-year old energetic golden retriever over the weekend. She has an 11-year old son who is also wonderful and was kind and loving to our dog too. Gretchen made sure our dog was well exercised and much loved. She sent us many pictures over the weekend and our dog was clearly quite happy. Gretchen is a great communicator which put us at ease when we were away. We are new to the area and are so grateful that we found Gretchen. We will definitely be using her in the future.”

“I would definitely recommend Brittany to anyone that needs boarding for their pets. She treated our puppy Storm like she was one of her own. “Andrea is a beautiful, intelligent and compassionate professional. She cares about the animals she looks after while 'pet parents' are away. She reduces anxieties naturally by listening carefully and observing astutely. Hygge had never been away or 'boarded' for pet sitting prior to my experience with Andrea. At all times she was communicative, caring and purposeful in her interactions with Hygge, who probably worried about being in a new home away from home for a few days on many levels. My transportation plans were delayed due to a severe storm that prevented my scheduled pick up, and Andrea was patient, reasonable and loving during my own stress about being stuck in NYC beyond my control for the pick up of my dog after traveling for a few days. She worked with me every step of the way, and the boarding experience was a total success even with transportation issues. Hygge returned home happy, healthy, well-nourished and satisfied with renewed confidence in his ability to work with another lovely family in our sweet community in a spirit of trust and sucess. All in all, I would recommend Andrea to work with anyone who has pets they love and want to broaden the scope of their pet's world by allowing Andrea to work with them and care for them.
