About: Hi there.. I have always owned a dog in my life. I have worked at an animal shelter for 2 1/2 years taking care of the dogs. I have been around most breeds and personality types. I am calm and patient around dogs and know how to read their body language. But I also love to be goofy and playful with them when the environment is right. I believe every dog is an individual and what might work for one dog won’t always work for another. I have some dog training under my belt from working with other trainers and taking classes but I’m not certified yet. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out! About: I’m a 30 year old, married woman. My husband and I are new home owners in Broad Channel, Ny. We currently have a 4 year old beagle named Harvey who is an absolute sweetheart. Over the years we have done extensive research, and expended tons of effort, in behavioral training, especially to help him cope with his anxiety. Therefore, we are familiar and well versed in canine behavior and socialization. His best friend is his roommate, Thor, a 2 year old cat who was raised by Harvey and pretty much acts like a dog. This summer, we are landscaping our large yard which includes a new fence to close in the entire yard. We have a second bedroom that will be outfitted for a pup who needs his or her space. Broad Channel is a quiet, sleepy water-side town five minutes from the largest dog park in NYC (which was recently renovated). On bad weather days, we’ll play with tons of toys at home and watch movies on our extra large couch.

I have run my own dog walking and pet sitting business for 10 years, fostered many animals, worked as the foster coordinator for my local shelter and have organized and hosted several fundraising events. Now that I have the space I am expanding into dog and cat boarding in my home. In order to give your pets the care they deserve I will only be booking one family at a time. I can't wait to meet you and your Furry Friends! I am home full time. I am available 7 days a week and most holidays with booking in advance for dog boarding. Contact for questions! About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. Right now I have a Beagle and a German Shepherd so I’m used to caring for all dogs of different sizes. I’ve dog sat for people in my town and I am able to flex my schedule to meet the specific needs of your dog. I’m currently a college student, student teaching full time. So I am at a school from 8-3 Monday- Friday and off the weekends. I have a big yard at my home, which provides plenty of room for fetch. I have two dogs that are very friendly to new dogs. I can also stay at your home if preferred. I can dog walk, keep a strict feeding schedule, and give frequent potty breaks throughout the day.
