About: I absolutely adore animals but especially dogs, I worked at a dog kennel for two years, which has helped me to gain experience around dogs of any and all different sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments/requirements. I have been dog sitting/walking and doing overnight stays for 3 years and take great pride in taking care of your pet as if they’re my own! I am working part time at a kennel right now, however my shifts are very short (5 hours max but typically 2.5-3 hours). I get my schedule on a week to week basis, so if you want to guarantee that I have the availability to watch your pup, let me know at least 2 weeks in advance and I will happily request off from work to help you out (please still feel free to reach out even if its less than 2 weeks in advance, I likely will still be able to help you out). Having such short shifts, im available for pop-ins and walks the majority of the day, however there should be no problem with staying overnight as my latest shift is from 8:15-9:15pm at the kennel for let out. I will care for your pet as if it’s my own to ensure their safety and enjoyment for the time I am with them, as well as making sure your home is safe while you are away. I will follow any and all instructions that are given to me to guarantee everything runs smoothly and that your pup has a great and safe time!

About: I have aided in training both of our German shorthaired pointers growing up as well as a go-to pet carer and walker when close friends and family are on vacation or cannot get away from the office. I take time out of my day to do this for my current family & friends so I am used to making the pets a priority because that time of their day I get to spend with them is very crucial to their happiness since their owner cannot be there. Both cats were outdoor cats which required consistent grooming, tick repellant, and even medicine administration for when they ate something they shouldn't have, or developed infections (administering pills to a cat is a skill I'm proud to put on my resume.) My dog Connor developed an autoimmune disease, and required prednisone administration daily. He was also a very reactive dog to other dogs, so those behaviors I am very well-versed in handling. The same can be said for my partner's family's two dogs (black lab mix and white Dogo Argentino), and my sister's pug mix. Dogs are reactive for a reason and I do not judge them for it, I'm happy to accommodate their predispositions. I work completely remote (and to be truthful it's a pretty chill job day to day) so I'd consider myself the best option as someone who has a full time job outside of Rover! Plus, I love the company of pet sitting during the week. I'm of the belief that cats and dogs belong on the couch and the bed, so in my home they are allowed wherever they please. That being said, if you have more strict rules for your animals either inside my home or yours, I completely understand and have no problem carrying out your wishes (obviously.) My care style is attentive. I know that's another obvious answer, but I've always loved interacting with animals, playing with them, etc. It makes me happy.
About: I currently work as a veterinary assistant at a 24/7 ER hospital in the area. I have worked/interned at Petsmart and the Buffalo Zoo. I have graduated college with degree in animal behavior, ecology, and conservation and a minor in zoo biology. I have pet sat for many families and taken care of dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, birds, and reptiles. My responsibilities for these animals included giving flea and tick medication, general medication, feedings, playtime, multiple walks a day, cleaning up the yard, keeping good water levels, etc. I also have a fear free shelter certification. I currently work full time as a veterinary assistant at an ER hospital, but have availability on my days off to do drop ins or walks When owners leave their pet with me I understand that it is all about trust that their pet will be in good hands. Many owners like me to come over prior to so I can meet their pet and get specific directions for caring for them as well as seeing where everything is. Every owner will have specific directions for how to take care of their pet and I make sure to follow those directions and consult them with any questions that might come up.I will never attempt to take care of a pet I am not comfortable with taking on and will always ask for clarification about how to do something I don’t know how to do. I also will send updates and photos as often as the owners would like so they have assurance that their pet is happy and healthy!

About: Hi! I’m Mary. I am a stay at home mom of 5 year old twins and a 12 year old shihtzu mix. I became a dog walker 5 days a week in September of 2024 by chance and realized how much I love it. I’ve been around animals my whole life, currently including my 8 chickens! If you’re looking for a dog walker, I walk in all weather. I can also just pop in and hang out for a bit and let them out for a potty, change litter boxes, feed, etc! I am experienced with all types of dogs, cats, and other animals and I hope to meet yours too! Currently booked for weekly walks 12-1pm on Monday Tuesday and Fridays. Only other commitment is school drop off and pickup for my twins, otherwise open! I am open to all types of animal care and have experience with elderly dogs. About: I have a big house with room to run and play. I'm happy taking care of the puppies and dogs that aren't quite fully potty trained. My family dog in Florida is not spayed so I have experience with females in heat. I don't mind cleaning up messes because the house is all mine. I have 2 small dogs living with me that are very spoiled. My little Einstein has allergies so I buy him special food, shampoo, conditioner, etc to help with his itchy skin. He is a quiet little one who loves meeting new pups. My little Lola loves to cuddle and chew on her bone. You can be certain that your dog will be spoiled too.
