About: I've had my own cat since the third grade. My cat had kittens when I was 14 and I had to feed them formula. My first cat had leukemia and her mom didnt feed her so we also had to feed her formula. About: For many years, I aided my aunt who owns her own dog grooming salon, keeping the dogs occupied and bathing them! I have also taken care of many friends and family members dogs, even cats! I had two dogs, two Guinea pigs, and recently just adopted a cat! I volunteer weekly at a bunny farm cleaning their cages and spending time with them. About: (Saying up front that I am not comfortable using a prong collar, so if that’s something you use on your dog, I don’t believe I’m a right fit for the service you want. Please don’t invite me to your home and surprise me with a prong collar—I will not use it on your dog.) Now here’s my bio: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

About: I have pet sat for neighbors and family friends for years and for long periods of time. I have taken care of dogs, cats, guinea pigs and fish. I also have experience working with reptiles and snakes as an intern for an environment education center. I took care of a box turtle, corn snake, and painted turtle. About: I’ve taken care of dogs for more than 20 years. I grew up with dogs in my family, I eventually moved out and decided to get a dog of my own. I’ve dog sat and dog walked for friends and family for years. I’ve been around dogs of all ages, and would be willing to treat yours as my own! My work schedule is a bit different. I work for the Syracuse Fire Department and we work 24hr shifts. On my 2 work days a week, I use family members or Rover for pet care. But I have 5 days off a week! So on those days off, I have plenty of time to care for the pups! My schedule does rotate weekly so I will just need to make sure I’m off the day pet care services are needed. I live in an apartment so I’m used to walking since I have to walk my own dog everyday. I usually walk her to the park around the corner or drive to trails/parks for walks and playtime.
