About: From young age I've been responsible for many types of animals. I have experience with dogs and puppies, cats and kittens, cows and calfs, horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, iguana, fish, frogs, turtles, salamanders, etc. I currently have one medium dog who lost his litter mate in December 2023. I'm a stay at home dog Mom. We both have lots of energy for walks and hikes. I live on a 1 mile dirt, seasonal, dead end road with lake frontage and massive yard for playing hide and seek in the trees and hunting squirrels. My dog is dog friendly, loves playmates. About: I have have had dogs all my life and cared for friends and family dogs while folks need to travel or run errands. All sizes and breeds welcome I work from home 8 am - 5-pm and with my children grown I have time to help others when they need dog sitting. I have two female Yorkies and a female Bernese Mountain Dog. All very friendly. About: For over 3 decades, I have been providing high quality care to extended fur family, as well as to those of our friends and neighbors who have been generous enough to lend me some of their pets' time. From big dogs to small dogs, young dogs to old dogs, our single-family detached home and fully fenced yard is sure to provide a warm and comfortable environment for your well-natured, and good-with-kids pup. I work from home 3 weekdays days out of 5, and can come home for lunch on those 2 days where I have to be in the office to let your pup out and provide food and water. Long walks, lots of fetch, and plenty of pictures are in store if you choose to trust our family with your fur babies. We have one family dog already, a 5-year old pug named George, who has shown himself to be very good with other dogs, both big and small. We take long walks around the neighborhood, stopping to say high to other dogs and their owners. We also occasionnaly go to the dog park Kingston East, or sometimes further afield for beach days or hikes on local trails or conservation areas. Our pug naturally sleeps on the bed with us (we couldn't stop him if we tried), so we'db be delighted to extend your dog the same courtesy. They'd become a part of the family.

I grew up with my mother whom bred and showed various different breeds of dogs as well as we kept a small mixed livestock farm. I have worked as an equine manager, I have worked at TSC, and currently am employed at a veterinary clinic where I was originally working with boarders. My skills include basic training, basic grooming, administering preventatives and medication (including insulin), providing effective and safe restraint, and I have taken multiple educational courses on animal welfare, behavior, and stress-free approach to handling. I work full time, but only mid day so I am more than capable of doing morning and afternoon visits as well as mid day on the weekends. I take care of animals the same way I would want to be cared for: with patience, kindness and love but above all safely. About: From young age I've been responsible for many types of animals. I have experience with dogs and puppies, cats and kittens, cows and calfs, horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, iguana, fish, frogs, turtles, salamanders, etc. I currently have one medium dog who lost his litter mate in December 2023. I'm a stay at home dog Mom. We both have lots of energy for walks and hikes. I live on a 1 mile dirt, seasonal, dead end road with lake frontage and massive yard for playing hide and seek in the trees and hunting squirrels. My dog is dog friendly, loves playmates. (No jealousy). In your home care would be provided to your pets as we would discuss with a meet & greet.
“Words can not justly express how grateful I am to Stephen and Holly. The care they provided Saul during my extended time away was beyond extraordinary. It was not an easy time with harsh winter conditions but they ensured Saul was provided several walks a day as well as regular visits to dog parks for him to run and play. Saul is full of energy and very playful for being 13 months old so I’m sure it wasn’t always easy to meet his demands yet Stephen and Holly did. They treated him like a member of their family. They always send pictures of Saul keeping me posted of his activities. I especially enjoyed the pictures of Saul and family members when he would be resting near and in the arms of their family. I have to say I believe Saul is missing them and their dog George his new adopted family. I would not think of ever leaving Saul with anybody other than Stephen and Holly. You will not be disappointed.”
