About: I have cared for my own dog for the past 13 years and sadly he died in February 2025. I walked him around my neighborhood consistently for all those years and now having that routine gone is difficult. Before having him as my own, I also helped take care of my families dog for several years. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages and demeanors and all sizes too :) I am attending SUNY Cortland right now and that is the only large barrier in my weekly schedule. I can care and/or walk dogs after 7pm on Monday and Wednesdays. I am available after 4pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Friday and Saturday I can provide care all day with a days notice. Without notice I will most likely be working on Friday and therefore not available until after 4pm that day. I can house-sit on Fridays and Saturdays and into Sunday afternoon as well! I will maintain a safe and calm environment for your pet while caring for them and allow them to initiate any desired games or actions. I am willing to accommodate however you prefer for your dog when caring for them, just let me know of anything necessary :) Any questions or concerns for your dog's care are welcomed and appreciated as I prefer a heads up in advance of anything unusual or to keep an eye out/for. About: I have experience in wildlife rehabilitation, zookeeping, managing horses. I’m comfortable doing most basic animal care for a variety of animals and happy to learn about anything I haven’t had experience with. Dogs, cats, reptiles, hoofstock, poultry and so on! My schedule is fairly flexible with some notice. Available early mornings, late nights and in between. I am happy to adjust my schedule based on each animal’s routine and needs. I am attentive and observant of each animal’s needs and routines. Happy to follow specific schedules and tasks to adhere to their normal care standards. While I do have a yard, it is unfenced so dogs go out on a leash unless they have exceptional recall. Often joking or walks around the neighborhood. About: I’ve been taking care of pets and owning dogs (& cats) since I was 15 . I also took dog training classes in Germany . Over the past years I’ve watched friends and coworkers puppies , family and friends cats and did take in some dogs from military friends for vacation ! About: What sets me apart is my experience working with dogs of all personalities and needs, especially reactive dogs and strong pullers. Senior dogs need love too, I'll be patient and we can take a nice and easy stroll or take a little car ride! Speaking of, I have room in my subaru for any transportation your pup may ever need (including a doggy seatbelt). Overall, I'm flexible and want to help you and your pup have a happy life! Right now I do not have the capacity for boarding or keeping any dogs besides my own at my current residence. About: I have cared for my own dog for the past 13 years and sadly he died in February 2025. I walked him around my neighborhood consistently for all those years and now having that routine gone is difficult. Before having him as my own, I also helped take care of my families dog for several years. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages and demeanors and all sizes too :) I am attending SUNY Cortland right now and that is the only large barrier in my weekly schedule. I can care and/or walk dogs after 7pm on Monday and Wednesdays. I am available after 4pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Friday and Saturday I can provide care all day with a days notice. Without notice I will most likely be working on Friday and therefore not available until after 4pm that day. I can house-sit on Fridays and Saturdays and into Sunday afternoon as well! I will maintain a safe and calm environment for your pet while caring for them and allow them to initiate any desired games or actions. I am willing to accommodate however you prefer for your dog when caring for them, just let me know of anything necessary :) Any questions or concerns for your dog's care are welcomed and appreciated as I prefer a heads up in advance of anything unusual or to keep an eye out/for.
