About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages and sizes since I was 10, starting with my own Great Dane! Since his passing, I’ve been taking care of neighbors’ and friends’ dogs with all their pet needs, such as walks, check ins, feeds, baths, house sitting, exercise, etc! About: Hello! My name is Riley, I’m 25 years old, and I have lived and cared for animals for 18+ years. I had a golden retriever who has passed, and I have two cats Charlie and Nyla, whom I adore and love to play/take care of! I have experience walking small and big dogs and hyperactive furry friends. Growing up, I would walk my neighbor's dogs multiple times a week and spend time at their houses while they were on vacation. I can also work with other types of animals as well if need be! I am flexible. I’m currently a barista, so I have a flexible work schedule! Most of the time I’d like a couple of days in advance notice, however if it’s last minute, please feel free to contact me about dropping in! Weekends available as well. When my family dog was still alive, we would feed her early in the am and let her out. We'd feed her again mid-day and once more at night. We would walk her once a day and play with her outside for a chunk of time. As for my cats, we would feed them wet food morning and night and some dry food mid-day. Litter box cleaning would occur a couple of times a week and playtime, was basically all the time!
About: Dogs, cats and helping people all make me happy. I’ve lived with at least one dog since I was 4 years old after adopting our first family dog from the north shore animal league. I’ve had 3 years of fostering experience for the queens ASPCA where my aunt volunteered. I rehabbed overweight dogs and sick dogs into shape and health to be adopted to their forever homes. We had 2 foster failures our bond was so strong we had to keep. I currently have 3 dogs and one cat all rescues. I always form an immediate bond with any pet I meet and promise to take care of your pet like they are my own. I understand the hesitation in trusting others with your pets and proudly guarantee the best care possible. I am gladly available weekdays both mornings and afternoons as well as anytime needed on the weekends and/or holidays. I do work a full time job second shift 3pm -11pm Monday through Friday excluding holidays. I work in Hicksville for the school district doing security. I’ve found and saved several lost dogs and wild animals throughout the neighborhood over the past 9 plus years. Easily my favorite part of the job. I love to serve the community by helping others. I care as much about stray or random animals as I do my own pets. Seeing a dog or cat in public is easily the highlight of my day. I like to get down and meet dogs at their level to gain their trust and show I am not s threat. I am a good listener and will follow all orders given to take care of someone’s pet and do whatever is best for any animal in my care.
