About: Hello! My name is Julissa. I have so much love for all pets and animals. Growing up, i’ve always had a dog in the house, and they were always such an important member of our family. It’s been about five years since I’ve had a dog of my own. My last dog’s name was Sasha. We adopted her when she was six and had her until she was about thirteen. She was so smart, loving, and anxious when we first got her so our first few years together were spent establishing trust. Eventually we managed to off-leash train and we worked a lot on her recall so that we could enjoy longer walks and outdoor activities while ensuring that she always felt safe in her environment. At home we set her bed up in the kitchen, where we would pass our time cooking and spending a lot of quality time together. I had so many good years with my Sasha, and since she passed I have genuinely missed spending time with animals on a consistent basis. Since then, most if not all of my friends and family have entrusted me with taking care of their animals when they are busy or traveling, so I’ve had a lot of experience with many different pets and their varying needs/personalities. I work freelance as an artist. I am a musician, so I often stay at home practicing or composing. However most of my work is in the film industry, and this work ranges from smaller independent projects to network television. Although I do work on set sometimes, I try to take on as many post-production gigs as possible, so I often find myself sitting behind a desk all day. I have always made it a priority to work in a field that I am passionate about, and my decision to work with Rover has been no different. About: I have been living with a dog (at one time with 3) since 2010. We recently said goodbye to our lab/retriever mix and are not quite yet ready to adopt a dog again but we miss having a dog around. As a pet parent I understand how stressful it can be finding reliable care and finding someone who will love your dog as much you do. It can also be tough when you find out you have to work late and will need someone to come to your rescue to let your baby out and feed them. When I’m not walking dogs, I’m taking care of my human children (who also love dogs) which means I have a somewhat flexible schedule, and I spend a lot of time outdoors. We have always found lots of fun outdoor bonding opportunities everywhere we have lived with our dog. We both love being outside and being active and I would love to share this hobby with your dog too! I am a full time mom to two school aged children. I have reliable blocks of availability for the most part. I am in and out during the day and my husband works from home a lot of the time as qell. We’re very big on walks, dog parks, fetch (our sweet pup was inexhaustible and could play fetch for hours), and my kids practically live in our yard so I’m outdoors a lot when I’m home. When caring for a pet in a client’s home, I follow the care instructions given by the pet parent.

Honestly, no request is too much, my dog and cat both are very particular in their ways.
About: We have had many dogs throughout our life. Right now we currently have 2 small Havanese dogs - Daisy and Luna. We have two children, 15 and 13, and both dogs get along with all children and other dogs as well. We will take care of your dogs as though they are one of our own! We do take on more than one dog at a time. We have a fully fenced in yard where they love to run around and play. We live in a great neighborhood where we can go on long walks. We have two size crates should your dog require one. We look forward to spending time with your pet/s! I currently work full time as a teacher but am home by 2:30 and am able to come home during lunch breaks to let dogs out and walk them. And my husband works from home - so they always have company! My two dogs love other dogs so they will always have someone to play with. About: I’ve taken care of dogs large and small since I was eleven years old! Including my own, such as Irish Setters, Jack Russell’s, and Corgis. I understand how to handle dogs of all temperaments, from little pups to old timers, and am able to adapt quickly to give the best care to each dog! I understand most people have different preferences when it comes to their pets, and I totally understand that!
