About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. I owned two Miniature Pinschers growing up and I adopted one Australian Shepherd mix that has special needs as an adult. I trained all of my dogs from the time they were puppies until they passed away as seniors. I also volunteered at the Humane Society of Westchester. I've always enjoyed being around animals since I was young and animals tend to feel the same way about me. Animals who are usually timid around strangers are comfortable around me right away and they seem to trust me right away. I feel like connecting with animals (dogs specifically) is a gift that I have. Being a sitter is a great way for me to use that gift in everyday life. New clients get a free 2027 desk calendar that has photos of my clients and my dog as well (check my photos for a preview). I'm able to adapt to the normal routine of the pets that I'm sitting in order to make the process as smooth as possible. I don't have a lot of room in my studio apartment so I'm only able to watch either 1-2 small dogs or one medium sized dog. Large dogs are too big for my apartment. If I'm at a client's home, I'll change my schedule to meet the needs of the pet. I believe all animals are unique and all have different needs in order to thrive in the environment that they're in. I'm willing to meet those needs by building my schedule around the animals that I'm sitting.

About: I have been an animal lover my whole life, but didn’t truly realize my appreciation for them until high school when I started pet sitting (over ten years ago!) I would watch my friends’ pets when they were on vacation, and felt compelled to make the pets’ stay with me a vacation as well 🐶😊. Since I started watching dogs I always considered them my PIC (partner in crime.). I take them with me on all my adventuress! They meet all my family and friends, and I have even taken a dog on a weekend trip to Block Island (with owners permission of course!) These days, I am home most of the day. I have a small business, which I run out of my home. I am home for majority of the day, but often have to step out for no more than 2 hours at a time. I typically give dogs 2 long walks (30-40 minutes) a day, and take them out in the yard and small walks down the street at least 5 times a day. They get potty breaks every 2-3 hours. I am a VERY active person. I am a marathon runner and avid hiker. No matter what your dog’s activity level is, I will be sure to tucker them out🐶😂. My typical morning and evening walk for dogs is a mile and a half around the reservoir trail in my back yard. I am more than happy to adjust to match your dog’s needs. I live on a small private street. My family and dear neighbors are all nearby. My large yard, close knit community, woods, reservoir trails and loving family truly is a paradise for dogs🐶😊❤️ My schedule varies every day. I can be in and out throughout the day, but never away from home for more than 2-3 hours at a a time. I am typically home for the day by 3pm. Some days I am home all day! About: I've loved animals my whole life and grew up around animal shelters thanks to my sister, who is a veterinarian. I'm very active, play sports, and love walking, so I'm happy to keep up with dogs of any energy level. I treat every pet like they're my own and always focus on making them feel comfortable, safe, and happy. With school out for the summer, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to your pets. I'm available throughout the week and can easily accommodate your dog's routine and walking needs. Whether your pet needs a quick walk, extra exercise, or regular visits, I'm happy to work with your schedule. I believe great pet care goes beyond just the walk itself. I take the time to make sure each pet is safe, comfortable, hydrated, and ready for our outing. I pay attention to their individual needs, whether that's extra playtime, a slower pace, or lots of exercise. I also help keep their space clean and comfortable so both pets and owners can feel at ease knowing they're in good hands.
About: I’m currently an Animal Science major in college and I’ve had a lot of experiences working with a variety of animals. I’ve interned for several vet hospitals and worked for two dog training companies. I have a lot of experience handling daily care for many different breeds and ages and I am very knowledgeable on dog behavior. My schedule on the days available is very flexible. I am local and doing courses online. I am happy to work with you to best meet your pet’s needs! While I cannot care for other pets in my current home I am happy to do drop ins when needed. These can include walks, feeding, and enrichment!
